I have problem with my O2 Mini, a Year ago I had install ROM 2.03 TX to my XDA O2 Mini and since then I can not downgrade or upgrade the ROM to any ROM
Does anyone of you could give me the answer about how to replace that ROM because right now my O2 mini is like a dead devices (which mean I can't take any picture from it camera because there is no camera driver on that 2.03 TX Rom).
I really want to installed WM 6 to my device, and I have tried many time but always failed. Please... Please.... Please..... tell me how to replace the 2.03 TX Rom from my device

Hi. Before 2 years ago I successfully downgrade my MDA Compact from TX 2.03 with original English ROM, but I can not remember which version I used. Do you tried this method?
Could you please give us the error message?
Anyway, try flashing it with Ma_upgradenoid.exe. Just extract the Rom, put this in the folder and open it.

First of all,
What is the version of your Rom exactly?
Is it a O2 1.11 CHT Rom with 1.11 Radio?
have you done anything on your mini after flashing?(for instance, some settings)
Normally, it won't happen if you install a shipped Rom. I don't think a newly installed shipped rom would have some probelm on its setting and the o2 mini shipped CHT Rom worked fine with my device. I suggest you to do a hard reset and see if it still happens. If yes, you may try to flash the latest Radio Rom 1.13, but I recommand you to bring your mini to Mong Kok and have a check on it.

I've a new O2 with german rom, I'm searching abot OS ENG ROM or I prefer the ITALIAN rom.
Before I delete my GER rom, If you want I can dump this for you. Do you have a O2 ENG or (the best) ITA rom (Qtek or i-mate)?.

I've finally got mine backed up before i flashing it with i-jaming newest rom. But it is backed as dump. .. and as far as i know, to reflash it back later (i.e. if you/have want to), it has to be a .nba format. but i do not know how to convert it to that format.
If anybody knows how please let me know and i'll post the finished product here.

What ROM, OS, RADIO version is this? Currently i have the Qtek German ROM (see signature). Is the EXT ROM also available?

I am also very interested in flashing mine to an english rom (qtek, etc), but I do also want the option of going back to the GErman Rom if need be...but, i have not seen the original German (Neo) rom posted. Does anyone know where this can be found? The O2 site has nothing....

folks, the german (or whatever languaged roms) mostly pop up as soon as the carrier (o2, tmobile, orange, ...) or oem (qtek, imate) have a update rom available, so it is usually no problem to install your prefered rom now and then go back to the original as soon as you want to sell the device. also if you think that switching the rom may harm your warranty:
1) it's always possible to f*ck up the rom version you have on your device in case of a hardware issue (simply start any update and the unplug the usb), so your beloved device becomes a paperweight and noone can say what rom you've used; 2) would changing the os on your desktop pc harm any warranty? no. so there you go whenever someone asks.
you don't need to change the cid of your device, there's a modified upgrade_utility, so you can always go back to the original state of rom as soon as your carrier releases one.
go update now ...

I see there is an Upgrade for the ROM/OS for the Magician which I understand should solve my SDIO Wifi card lockups ( Bios Upgrade needed) I see by the Post (UPDATE 2 - Fixes) Rom Wwe 2.03 For Htc Magician (jam) that it looks very straightforward. As I am very attached to this MDA Compact I cant afford for it to go down . Can u advise whether I can use the above 'Upgrade' with the MDA Compact which I understand is the same phone as the Magician?

but i dont know about thw wifi thing i havent tryed that
it works..
i am using it on my o2 mini, sandisk wlan card..802.11+256 mb storage..it works good..drivers are on sandisk website...
MDA Compact Rom Upgrade
Thanks for feedback on this matter. Whats the info about BIG Storage? Is there improved memory available on this upgrade? Anyone had any bugs or problems since the Upgrade? Certain comments have been about a 'Hard Reset' before adding the extra updates? Any tips on a successful Upgrade? Probably gonna have a stiff Brandy before carrying it out!
i have htc magician and i tried to instal windows 6 but when i want to enter in bootloader the screen goes black ,he disconnects and its showing Serial/Usb V1.00 ... what should i do?i have windows mobile 2003... and I really want to have w6 help please

Hey, I have a big problem and I hope somebody can help me.
I have a Kaiser which stuck up in the bootloader and I have flashed it with the false ROM and now I'm not able anymore to change the ROM.
So I need the original Kaiser / MDA Vario III ROM from T-Mobile Germany and not the Update.
