I have a lot of scanned documents in google apps but the mobile interface doesn't allow TIF viewing. Any suggestions for an app?
Thanks

not sure if this will work, but have you tried opening it with EStrongs or Linda (file managers). they support a bunch of different file types
Just to update. Estronng and Linda both didn't work. Thanks for the input though.

I'm in the same boat. All of my faxes come through Exchange and they are tif. Would love to read them on my droid.

On my old phones I just went to reware.com and uploaded my bookmarks xml file, but on the infuse 4G when i import the bookmarks using that site and mybookmarks, they don't show up in the web browser. Anyone know of a way to make this work or a way to import bookmarks from firefox or safari on mac? I have the bookmarks XML and HTML file, so I can't believe it's that difficult.
The way apps handle the internal vs external SD card on this Samsung Infuse is already beginning to rub me the wrong way, ughhhhh
Same problem for me. I didn't have many anyways. I did notice it imports history though

Are there any other ways to import bookmarks? I have an HTML file and a XML file exported from Firefox, there's got to be another way.
Hi
Does anyone know how to export bookmarks from dolphin browser? I would ideally like to export it to boat browser but stock browser would work
Thanks

I don't use Dolphin anymore, but seem to recall that being part of the functionality of "Bookmarks to SD"
did the trick thanks!
It's an app on the market called bookmarks to sd which is an add on for dolphin.
Seems i've gone over my thanks limit even though i only just got on xda about an hour ago???
Glad to help mate. You'll just have to owe me the 'thanks' next time
The mobile app works!

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I'm trying to do what you did but can't figure it out. I've exported my bookmarks to an HTML format but don't know how to import it to boat. Thanks.
Bookmarks to SD
Hello can someone please help me here, is the add on 'bookmarks to sd' still available for download? I am trying to copy my dolphin bookmarks from one phone to another.
seems like restaurants I have saved in People are all doubled.
I tried to delete the doubles, People/Menu/Manage/de-duplicate.
It did delete a great many, but many restaurants are still duplicated; and the entries are exactly the same, near as I can tell.
Ideas?
I think you can go onto Gmail/ contacts and remove duplicates or type it in google and you'll get your answer.

Try a program called wondershare Mobile go . It will merge your duplicate contacts.

I should have been clearer. It's only affects contacts on phone. Gmail web mail contacts are all good no duplicates.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using xda app-developers app
Wondershare mobilego is a free app you install it on your PC. It doesn't matter where the contacts are it will merge them. Even if they're on Google or your phone.

within People on the phone, one can select Menu/Manage Contacts/De-duplicate and more or less get the job done.
But the odd thing was is that there were dupes on the phone, but not on the google webmail/contacts tab. Nor OSX Address Book.
I'm looking for an alternate SMS app that is almost the same as the stock app but allows me to attach an APK file.
A lot of apps I get my fiance wants and it would make it easier to be able to grab the file from a file manager inline rather than having to open ROM toolbox and send it from there.

You can share any app you want from play store directly from the share button in play store and text it to her
Sendt fra min HTC One med Tapatalk2
Umm you can't attach files to text messages I'm prey sure, so no app will be able to do this (if im right). UNLESS the app also has its own messaging service on the side that can attach files, but then that would defeat the purpose because whoever you trying to text will have to have a smart phone, (they might even have to have android if the developer doesn't support other mobile smart systems like iOS or Windows Phone), because having a smartphone is the only way to get this made up app that doesn't even exist.

But since you said she wants the same apps, I'm assuming your both using android. So in that case I recommend an app called App Info XT because it has Holo Design, and can send apk directly from the app without the need of another file manager. But you will have to email it to her, since she has android she probably has gmail account. App Info XT can attach the apk to an email client directly, also, so thus is probably your best bet.

Basically saying:
From the Home screen, tap > Notes. The first time you open the app, you can take a quick tour and set up your Evernote® account. If you choose to skip this, you can log in to Evernote later in the Accounts & sync settings.
If it still isn't syncing to Evernote, you may need to install the Evernote app to get it working. (just a guess though)
Report back if it works
It's not that. I meant to the internal storage.
Thanks anyway

Where are the notes stored?
Because it would be pretty cool if someone made a app that backed up your HTC notes.

Mine is in
data/data/com.htc.provider.notes/databases/notes.db
as a SQLite database
Reviving an old thread. Htc stopped support for their Notes app. I would like to backup my Notes somehow but I cant find the path. I'm familiar with sqlite etc so shouldnt be a problem to get my notes from there.
Any clue where to start digging or suggestions? I got HTC ONE M7.

Shouldn't be easier to backup with TitaniumBackup?
