Can WM 6.5.5 toolbar behaviour be changed? - General Questions and Answers

I develop software for WM and have a couple of applications that use toolbars with several buttons.
It appears that WM 6.5.5 increases the spacing between the toolbar buttons so that only three buttons show - previously I think you could see 5 or 6.
Is there any way to override this behaviour (via the registry or other?) so that my apps can work uintil I am able to redesign the UI?

wmo 6.5 question

can you rearrange the the honeycomb program shortcut? if you can't how does winmo 6.5 sort its (any logic to it) because i know winmo 6.1 would sort it out alphabetically by folder than after that what ever program you install into it would be the next icon.
Press & hold on the icon that you want to move. A menu will open which says ''move to top''. Not so handy but that's a start.
If you want to personalise the icons of the programs take a look at hComber.-

Adroid like UI that shows both top and bottom bars in WM 6.5.3 (or how to modify MS)?

I need specific UI with slide screens (android and spb ms like), clock, upcoming appointments and icon shortcuts, as simple and light as possible. MS is ok, but I don't need all its functions (and memory usage). Most important is how to make it show both top and bottom bars in WM 6.5.3
I'd also like to know how to modify MS so it can display top and bottom bar in WM 6.5.3 od my Diamond (640x480)?
Thanks

[REQ] Text only buttons in WM 6.5.5

Hi all,
I searched over the foums but could not find an answer. Is there any cab that change the rounded buttons in WM 6.5.5 into Text only buttons? There are some themes that do that but I dont want any other fancy extras (i.e. change icons, task bar, etc.), I just want these buttons to go away so that my wallpaper will look nicer. I got the whole home page transparent now except for these buttons.
Many thanks,
NTD

Click to collapse
delete the relevant section of registry is one way to do it
Code:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\SoftKeyBar
if you look you can clearly see the name of the images that are used.
if you delete the values then the buttons disappear as well..
Many thanks, I deleted the keys in Toolbat instead of SoftKeyBar and they are now gone

Android Like Taskbar for HD2

Hello All,
I was wondering if it would be difficult for any developer for windows mobile to develop an android like taskbar for the hd2. When I say this, I mean how the android taskbar notifications (text messages, etc.) animate scrolling at the top available for view wherever you are (of course if not in game).. I think this would be a nice feature to have for the windows mobile phone / HD2..
It depends on your device is wm 6.5 version or 6.5.x. If its a solid, 6.5. NO! 6.5.x has a thin bar at the top, yes there are mods to do that look with icons. As far as the taskbar drop down menu, not yet!

[Q] hide taskbar/title bar in WM 6.5.3

Hello,
I want to dust my Touch Diamond and use it just for telephoning, SMS, calendar and music....not more. I don't need internet and other programs -- less is more
Therefore I found this beautiful host 1.5 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=16339017#post16339017) and use it with a fast and simple ROM, currently Energy Titanium with 29022 Build (WM 6.5.3)(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=517300).
In the taskbar of the host 1.5 is every I need: time, battery, connection. But when I open e.g. messaging or the dialer, the taskbar of the ROM shows up with many icons I personally don't need.
Is there the possinility to hide the WM 6.5.3 taskbar?
thx
regards
