hi guys, im currently useing the TyTn ii, unbranded and unlocked, so im useing o2 UK (payandgo)
it is currently on wm6.1 Pro does anyone know how to upgrade the rom to maybe wm 6.5 or 7?
I cannot post my email address but if you look on my profile, it should be listed. so if anyone could possible help me, that would be great.
i do have a number of issues with this phone atm
The main problem is that my sd memeory card will only regester with the phone when i tilt it, in the memory program, then if i turn the handset off/ i have to do it all again, so im abit hesitant on weather i can run apps / software from it.
i do like this phone alot, but can see myself selling it soon, so if you are intrested it buying it, feel free to make me an offer llf!

I won a new touch cruise but am told it was originally from Australia and it still has WM 6.0 on it. I would really love to upgrade to a 6.1 ROM with some nice touchscreen menus, etc but cannto find one that works on either the HTC site or AT&T site. (I am in the US). Can anyone direct me?

hi pal, doesnt matter wheres came from that phone, u can upgrade it to 6.1 rom , there are a lot roms updates in this forum that u can access for free and they have nice screen configurations than original... just look around and read a bit more..

hey guys i just purchased the new samsung epix/blackjack3 from ebay. it was unlocked. phone is great. however, i noticed that the included firmware is windows 6.0. v been researching and i see that its suppose to be 6.1. i cant seem to find any firmwares for 6.1 for this phone. im looking for any 6.1 firmware for this phone at all, not looking for any hacked or whatno, just a firmware so i can get this phone to 6.1. it sucks to have such a high tech phone and not be able to use 3g or threaded messages and what not. if anyone can provide me with any information on where to get a stock 6.1 firmware for this phone, please let me know. thank you in advance.

Hope this helps. Not quite sure if it is exactly what you are looking for. Seems like you got scammed if the phone was advertised as i907, because it sounds like the i780 (it comes with wm6.0). Basically similar deviced with exception to wm version and battery.

The device is used for - web browsing - watching/streaming media content and sending emails/text.
Nothing else.
Oh and I want to keep the phone on T-Mobile - Just want to upgrade the ROM.
Which one do I need? And any software needed to complete the upgrade?

Hello all,
Now that I have a few days off before I go back to work for the new year thought I would find a project to keep me occupied.
I have what i believe to be a Dopod /HTC/ 838 Pro.
Thought I would upgrade it and maybe get a few more years out of it, since it has been sitting in my top drawer for the last two years ever since getting my Iphone. Had TomTom running on it as a navigation device, but the Iphone does it sooooo much better that I found I was not using the WinMo.
So in light of the above, any advice appreciated.
I live in Australia so a Rom specific to the region would be great, as I would like to upgrade from WM6 to ----> 6.1 with Touchflo or 6.5 if possible?? Is it ???
Ideally I am after the touchflo experience, I know its a whole buch of fancy graphics etc...but before I get flamed for being lazy and not looking etc thought I would see what your opinions are. (and yes I am being a tad lazy too) please no flames only constructive advice.
I have seen the WM6.1 touchflo installed on the phone on Youtube however could not find the Rom, having searched ..(possibly with the wrong words) but I did try.
Could you also suggest a failproof method of upgrade..
Starting with Hard-SPL_V7 if it is required ???

Hi all, I have just started work on my first windows phone. the last time I done anything like this it was with the Motorola razr, (a while ago I admit). I am looking for any help with upgrading from WM5 to WM6 or above if possible. I started with a cheap phone to gain the experience so I can move on to bigger and better without any fuss.
