Does anybody have a means of getting the same.lockscreen a the one used in the yeti and cydogenmod roms. I love the lockscreen that are used in these roms more specifically the lockscreen that had the lock on the left side of the screen that you swipe to the right to unlock and the sound button that swipes to the left. Anyways I have tried everything but I cannot seem to get that lockscreen on my phone. Does anyone have just the lockscreen apk that I can just flash . Someone please help.

There is already a thread that discusses this. No. you must wait for a ROM with this otherwise a home replacement app is your best bet.

Any luck so far, I'd much rather this lock screen.
Seems more logical, since I hold the phone on it's lower half, easy thumb access.
while someone is at it would you mind looking into getting the puzzle lock screen from other Galaxy S devices as well?
I'm hooked on widget locker...You can set it to use the HTC slide screen too...

I finally got around to following the tutorial and getting it to work. Simply flash the attached zip from clockwork.
Just flashed and it works perfectly thanks for this it a needed add on the stock lock screen was pretty lame.

Sorry for the noob question but how would I flash this file using clockwork recovery? Would I have to rename this to update.zip or just select install from sd card? I tried the latter and know seemed like it worked by I still get the same default lock screen. Any suggestions would be much appreciated

Well tried it. Tried the widget locker. Honestly i dont see what the fuss about this is. it made it so i couldnt unlock to goto text msg when i got a new one or anything. i went back to stock lock screen. ill wait til the puzzle piece lock screen works. Thanks for your hard work tho this lock screen isnt for me.
This thing is fickle as hell for me. I love it, though. Does anyone else have issues with it not actually coming up when using a pattern unlock?

Anyone else notice the lock screen settings isn't working? How can I get it to work? I hate the pull down to unlock! I like tabs
Had vaelpak and it also had lock screen settings and never worked there either...it let's me set it up how I like but doesn't stay..help.

I have used search..All morning. Not getting any useful answers using search so I asked. So anyone know how to remove stock lock screen? I heard that for some phones deleting the clock will also delete ur music app and mess up regular clock...hmm

Can I get a straight answer about the peek of homescreen before the lockscreen comes up. Any devs know where I can look to fix that fade in animation coming before the lockscreen? Im using widgetlocker and it still happens. Stock 2.3.3 of course. Please help.
It happens even without widget locker. Someone should help him without sending him a link to cm7 or something. He likes his stock rom. I would like to know even though I rarely use stock. The problem is annoying.

I haven't tried but try turning off animations. It's a problem in the lock screen part of the framework and or the animation part.

Tried to no avail. Thank you for defending me and my stock. I think I'll just move back to CM7 i just found stock alot more stable. If anyone finds anything thanks! But I'll just stick to CM7 i guess.

I wanted to know if there is a way to remove the double lockscreen effect when you enable pattern lock. I can't seem to find a answer on this when I searched.
Whether it be an app or a different rom or somthing.

use go locker from the market, you can even have custom themes and whatnot
