Best games for tablet

What are the best games to test my gtab with enhanced drivers.

Angry Birds is a staple for most people. I am kinda addicted to Alchemy now.

Pocket legends is very good on a bigger screen which makes it perfect for our tablet.

does anyone know if doodle jump or zenonia works?

Raging Thunder 2, a racing game runs pretty well too.

Air Hockey:EM is nice on the large screen. There's actually enough room for 2 players.
Minor lag, occasional stuttering, but very playable. With the NVidia tweeks, it should be great.

Im running zpad and have done all the market tweaks but it cant find it in the market. I installed appbrain and I was able to find it but when i click the market button to start the download it says it cant find it. So i then was able to find the apk but it wont install. anyone else having any of these problems or know how to fix it?

Doodle Jump has the 90 degree accelerometer issue... so it's a no go on that one for now. Though if you do try to play it, it's surprising how far you can make it last while the cow jumps sideways.

I had to mount the sd card onto my pc via usb cable then sideload the app. Then it should install.

Yeah I tried that it just said "install failed"

I downloaded right from the devs site and installed using root explorer without issue.........

I have Pocket Legends loaded, but it closes immediately on launch - no FC error, no nothing, just as quick screen flash. But considering gaming is low on my priority list, I'm generally happy. I just want to figure out what's gone wrong.

dev's site links to android market which still cant find it. What rom are you on? I want to get this working!

What will it take for gameloft games to work? Will gameloft need to release versions optimized for Tegra chips? Is it a driver issue?

I have Asphalt5 & Hawx from gameloft.
Asphalt5 loaded ok but has -90degree orientation issue.
Hawx loaded and work ok with TnT-Lite Ver2.00
Will try to reinstall Hawx with TnT_Lite V2.10

I have the APK it just says "install failed" I thought it had something to do with my rom so i tryed cyanogenmod out and that fixed it. now I cant find untra keyboard in the market. I think someone who is smarter than me should start an ultimate thread on fixing market issuses. Im so confused how different roms can change what access to the market you have.

I tried and it ID's my phone as unsupported. Is there a browser that lets me change the agent to Desire?

Try "about:debug" in the browser (without the quotes), press Go. No page will load, but you'll get extra settings in the Settings Menu. Change useragent to Android.

Selected the Desire option and worked for me. I'm using evil's sense rom.

Anyone else know why the game needs permission to EDIT/READ your SMS'?
Really seemed dodgy at the installation screen.

Played for a bit last night after a nice discussion with ebay and their great systems, but that is another issue heh...
This game is pretty neat for a free game. The game play is pretty good, controls are similar to the ipod/touch controls on the games there.
Kind of funny tho, gameloft tweeted about the free game and when I initially went to download from gameloft.com on the phone, it cost 4.99. I retweeted to them and they said N1's aren't supported/available. I thanked them for the info and went online via PC and downloaded the desire version and had the link sent to me via text, and viola, game on .

For those of you who got the game from GameLoft. I'd be wary.
The installation permission requires that you allow it to edit/read your sms'.
Wth does a game need to edit or read my sms' for? I've got like 110 apps installed and none of 'em require this permission.

Probably to verify that your phone matches the sms link that they sent you.

[Q] Gameloft data issue (legit)

I bought a few games when Gameloft was doing the £1 a throw deal.
All working ok but i got round to starting the last one i got today, NOVA2.
Problem is, when i launch & it requests to download the further 403mb it quits soon after with the error message " The download could not be completed successfully, do you want to try again? "
Doesn't matter how many times I try i get the same error & it usually just starts from the beginning.
I emailed Gameloft support with my receipt but all they did was send me a link to redownload the apk, which hasn't solved the problem at all.
Anyone had the same issue?

Iv got a few gameloft games installed with online capabilities on them and for some reason i keep getting thrown off the multiplayer services when playing them, so maybe it has something to do with their servers?

I doubt it, seems to bug out on me at the same point every time, like, 30seconds into the download.

I had a similar problem. It should continue the download rather than restart from the begining. In the end when it asked me do I want to retry I selected no then restarted the app.
Once you start playing there should be no further issues like this.

Tried that dude but it does bug out literally every 15-30seconds or so, and does restart from scratch after a few tries.

make a post on the gameloft forums, they will then ask for proof of payment then send you the fixed/updated file via email.
I've had 3 games with issues, all work fine now doing the above

Happens to me all the time too. I generally reboot each time it stalls, and if it still won't work I remove all of the downloaded data from SD card & start afresh.
Pain in the a$$ for sure, I still have Backstab to reinstall & my latest game Starfront finally installed but quits after the intro move

this has happend to me, i got around it by. deleting the SD data for the game off the SD card /sd/gamesloft/games/, then going to manage applications, and deleting the data for the app, then launch the game and do the whole download again

I had that issue but for me it turned out that a 32gb memory card id bought was a fake. fine when I went back to the 16gb that came with the phone.

Tried that, still bugging.

Well, I got an email from Gameloft, basically saying that it must be a problem with my handset, so they've kindly offered to give me a replacement game...
Not much good seeing as I bought all of their games when they were a quid!
I just want to play NOVA2, boo hoo!!

I've tried deleting the NOVA2 folder from the gameloft/games folder, any othrr data i should delete.
Ive also deleted the game data from app settings, uninstalled the game & reinstalled, but to no avail.

i have the same prob with real football 2 any one know a solution?

I purchased lets golf 2 hd from gameloft wap store,and installed it, when i opened the game a message appears for checking the files, after that " the game requires additional 120 MBs to run on your device" when i press >> (YES), a windows appears with the message " A problem occurred and download couldn't be completed successfully. Do you want to restart the download? " when i press YES, the same problem again and again i tried several times i even uninstalled the game and re-install it again but with no luck. please advice

Your wifi needs to disconnect then reconnect.
I was/am having wifi problems.
It still says connected but doesn't work. I think it happens when the phone goes to sleep.

Ask Gameloft for support. They've been known to give free games to some people who have had problems as well.

Are you using an ad blocker? if so that could be the problem.
Try revertig it if u use one.

Or could you're router firewall be blocking the port used by gameloft to download the game

Sometimes these games just act stupid. After my last restore I had to retry the download for Asphalt 6 like 50 times, but then Eternal Legacy worked the first time and Sacred Odyssey took like 3 tries.

Gameloft doesn't respond to emails for some reason. I had to call them. They also gave me free games for clicking download to many times and not going into My Downloads first. If you try to re-download the game t charges you again. So technically I did pay for them. But they were nice about it. (Accept they wouldn’t just refund it )

Might as well be SD card issues. You could try a to back-up your information and format the SD card.

phone is brand new, sd card brand new.. even so, tryed formating, tryed factory reset.. nothing helps

Game Launcher Problem

Hi,
I have a problem with a game launcher app. When i installed the app, it automaticly added 1 game. So i wanted to add other games manually (for example Clash Royale). When i clicked the ADD button a window popped up saying (something like that, translating from my language): "Game cant be added. This application is not listed as a game in the Game Launcher." Than it says: " Press Demand registration to add it"
I press the "Demand registration" button, and a pop up says " registration has been sent". And that is it... still cant add the game, and many others aswell. So far the only game in the glauncher is the game that was put there automaticly.
Anyone with a similiar problem, and someone hopefully with a solution?

Yes it happened to me too you have to push Press Demand registration to add it button and try to add later. Mine solved that way

Hi woolik, mine just fixed last night... not sure if completly by itself (after 4 days of having the phone).. But just before it was added i was playing in the Game Launcher pressing the lowest left button Best/Favourites (the crown with the star icon) and there i pressed the game i was trying to add (Clash Royale) which took me to the google store (+ i opened the game from the google store). Right after that i was able to add the game to the game launcher and all others aswell. Not sure if this actualy helped or it just started working by its own, but try doing that just in case.

Thank you for the reply. I tried both above mentioned ways and still having the same issue. I will try to install some other games, if there is the same problem.

are you using galaxy app store? if you are not, you won`t be getting the update from samsung that fixes this issue with GL.(there has been 2 updates on my phone from Sammy store for the Game launcher)

You need to register on Galaxy apps and you will get your update.

Hi, I can't get an update, I cannot even find game launcher in my apps in galaxy apps. The game launcher itself says that is actual version 0.0.9

NO WAY! This works. Thank you very much. I thought it could be something with that, but never actually tried.
I did not know how much does power saving mode affect the phone, especially the internet.
