For HTC Magic
Initially compiled for my own use, thought I would share.
(Ranked based on XDA Members Views and Activities 11/5/2011)
Hybrid Roms means that there is two different links for each radio or board.
This is only a guide, and might include some mistakes.
Please read the respective thread for each rom carefully, I am not responsible if you brick your phone
* Please be aware that you cannot brick your phone by flashing a rom, the only way to brick your phone to my knowledge is
by flashing the wrong radio for a certain SPL.

yea lol i found out XD but at least he let us see some messages , all now day roms just keep working while they dont let us see stuff and then i somethimes think its stuck XD

The superHero is the most stable and fast 2.1 ROM of all, IMHO

CursorSense
One of the best in terms of stability and speed along with
a remarkable battery duration is definitely CursorSense.
The only disadvantage is that it is a cupcake and thus some
market applications are not compatible.

ROOT​
Note: Different firmware versions require different root methods. Use the root method that corresponds with your firmware as noted below.
If your version of the phone is not AT&T or Rogers (such as Telus, Telstra, etc.), scroll down to "MISC. GUIDES" for threads which will help you with root, etc.
UPDATE April 2, 2014: Previous root methods will not work for AT&T firmware 5.18 (Android 4.2.2). Only a temp root solution (WeakSauce) currently exists:
Root HTC ONE XL 4.2.2 SENSE 5.0 {STOCK}
This temp root reportedly will not allow S-off or for the CID to be changed. Therefore, it may only be handy for some things (Titanium Backup, other apps that require root).
If you have previously achieved SuperCID and unlocked the bootloader before updating to 5.18 (highly recommended), you should still be able to unlock it again (and therefore install custom recovery, flash SU to root, etc.). Similarly, if you achieved S-Off prior to updating, you still have S-Off and can therefore flash custom recovery, etc. without re-unlocking the bootloader.

Closed, XDA does not welcome best rom threads, they can cause resentment among developers, arguments between fans of roms and generally not productive.
Flash them and try.

Common Flashing Guide For Roms/Kernels
1. Make a nandroid backup [For If you wish to Revert Back.]
2. Reboot to Recovery.
3. Wipe Cache Partition.
4. Wipe Dalvic Cache in Advance menu.
5. Flash The Rom/Kernel.
6. Have patients till it flash.
7. Again Wipe the dalvic cache.
8. Congratulations You Are done.
9. Wait For some time after flashing as its the first boot it takes time.
10. Thankyou you are done.

There is a sticky in the general section which is exactly like this, albeit I haven't added the latest few to the links(edit: have done now). You could have just added this as a post over there and I'd have linked it in the OP rather than setting up a thread in the development section

Id pay a 100 bucks for all these roms but you know they all are linked back to the stupid xda threads where they are lost forever when megaload went south by the fbi bastards.At least i can see the names of them even thought only 4 or 5 still exist in a google search
