Searching everywhere for the andtorrent apk or working link. Appreciate the help.
*Edit*
Found the market link to a great torrent app!
hxxp://www.appstorehq.com/andtorrentbit-torrentclient-android-215085/app
weird way to get andtorrent
This app is not visible on the market! In order to download it go here first with your phone
h?x?x?p?:?/?/?w?w?w?.appstorehq.?c?o?m?/andtorrentbit-torrentclient-android-215085/app
and then click on download from market link on the left. It sells for 1 dollar, not the 5 dollars that the web page says.
Does anyone know what the restrictions are on this app? I also noticed that I am unable to backup or transmit this applications to others. This concerns me in case I ever factory reset and cant find the application again.
had to get screwy with the url im a first time poster take the question marks out out.

I saw in a former Post here d3sm0nd had started that a Skype Application was available to Android, but only for Verizon Customers. He later stated that we could use Market Enabler to change the values and allow us to use Verizon Market. How is this possible and can somebody help me. I always thought it was cool to get Verizon Applications, so can anybody help?

Hi guys... As you can see in this article:
http://www.engadget.com/2010/03/25/skype-mobile-for-verizon-on-android-hands-on-with-wifi-off/
Skype has been released... BUT FOR VERIZON CUSTOMERS ONLY!
But don't worry.. there is a way to get it, just download Market Enabler and set a custom value "310012" < for Verizon.
Then you will be able to download Skype Mobile but if you start it you are going to get the message "Sorry Skype couldn't detect your phone number" and will quit...
I'm sure there is a way to bypass this too... the question is how ?

Market Enabler
Here Is The .APK
Great work, i couldnt find the verizon codes anywhere else
Not working
So I used MarketEnabler to set my code to the Verizon one above...still no results for Skype in Market?
I've done the search and I see a lot of issues with not being able to download apps but not too many answers. Does anyone know how to fix this:
I'm running the Syndicate ROM on an Epic 4G.
Starting this afternoon whenever I click on "Install" to download an app the download icon appears in the top left corner for about a second and then it dissapears with nothing downloaded.
I've tried pulling the battery, wiping the phone and then restoring to 2 different backup files (one from 3 days ago and one from this morning). Both backups were done when the market was working perfectly.
C'mon guys. There's gotta be someone out there who's figured this out.
this may not solve your problem but from now on, do a little google searching. I mean, I took like 2 minutes of my time here and found a LOT of information. This is just one place I found:

Get mad, I don't care. If people took the time to REALLY search for a sollution to a problem, there would be less post in this section.
Google search? Why didn't I think of that? Oh wait I did! That's how I found XDA Forums. Appearently XDA forums is an archive and not an actual forum. I access the web on my phone and have no home internet access. My average download speed is 100 kbps! A comprehensive search for me will take hours!
BTW keboard warrior, thanks for the reply!
Hello all,
I apologize if I'm in the wrong section.
I'm trying to get a hold of the Garmin Pilot app, but it's not available in Canada and thus it won't let me download it. I'm not actually sure if it would work in Canada, since they might not have the data for Canadian airports built in, but I still think it's worth a try, since there are no other good pilot apps on Android.
The app is a 30 day trial (free install) before having to subscribe to their service, so I imagine that all someone in the US would need to do is download the app, find the apk, and copy it. But I don't know too much on that subject.
Here's the Play Store link.
I would super appreciate if someone could help me out.
Thanks in advance
So, I am not sure if that is against the XDA rules or not - seems like a gray area and all. I am not taking the chance, but I will give you a way to do it yourself.

This link shows you how to use Chrome to download apps from the market. I have used it quite a bit to have backups without having to use the phone. Kind of neat if you want to theme an app as well.
Hopefully this will solve your issue without having to ask others to possibly break a XDA rule.
Good luck!
That will actually would work perfectly. Thank you for showing that to me. I didn't mean to bend any rules here, I figured it would be alright since it's a free app (isn't the same thing being done with the Google Play Music app?)
Anyway, the only problem with that is that apparently chrome no longer allows you to install extensions outside of the web store -_-
Do you work around that somehow?
Good Morning,
I have tried multiple ways to access this app from the market but continue to receive the "not available in yoir country" error (I am also in Canada).
Any help in obtaining the apk is greatly appreciated. The current version is 2.4.1.
Thank you kindly,
- Audi.
Canadian Solution Garmin Pilot
Audi!
Took me few tries but i finally got it working. The IPad was much easier to set up as you only needed a ITunes account with a USA address. That was pretty easy to do, setup the account and ensure your ITunes on your apple product is setup using that account. From there it was no issue to download the program.
Now the harder one was to set up the Android. I just got an Asus Nexus 7 yesterday. First, the service from these guys was pretty minimal to say the least. The problem with the Nexus is that it automatically picked up my location through my IP address. I called Asus to remove the regional setting and they were no help. They basically were unable to change this setting. I have tried many different options including removing the GPS and locations access but it did not worked.
The trick was to drive over to a friend which has a setup with a US IP address to get US Netflix content. The moment i logged into his network, I had the ability to download the Garmin Pilot. I will travel next week to Montana and Idaho and will be able to see how the system works. The only way I was able to add different airports in Alberta and Saskatchewan was to add them one at a time under user waypoints.
Hope this help.

Hi, is there some list or even possibility of being notified, when some of the already installed application are removed from Google Play, so I can check the development/updates myself ? Seems it's very recent habit of Google...
Some of the removals :
MyJDownloader - http://my.jdownloader.org/login.html
VU+ Player - http://m.downloadatoz.com/apps/com.vuplus.vuplusplayer,589296.html
TrackChecker 2 (is back already as Trackchecker Mobile ) - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.metalsoft.trackchecker_mobile

Transdroid - http://www.transdroid.org/download/
KdoVolal [CZ]- http://www.kdovolal.cz/aplikace-pro-android/ (still pointing to GPlay)
Etc.
Thank you.
Really nobody knows?
I do not know of any such list. But, by the looks of it, you just may have started it. And depending if other find it important, you may get help in this. Sorry I could not help out here. But I'll save this one and check in at times. If ever I run across something taken down, I will contribute if no one else gets to it first. Also, maybe you could post a link here to a location where one could download these taken down apps? I could possibly help out with it so that people have a place to download these apps from. Maybe a Google drive link. Any way, good luck.

Hi, I used to be able to capture (Screen Shot) a page I was on, and it also grabbed the Web Site address I got it from and attached it into a Text or Forum Post I would be posting or using. I didn't download any particular app to do this, it was something that was Stock. I can't seem to find this feature anymore for some reason. This feature might not be suitable to most, but for me, at certain times, it was very beneficial. Does anyone know of the setting or app that did this?
I was not rooted when I did this, nor am I now.
Samsung Galaxy S8+ for AT&T
EDIT: I searched for days for my answer, only After I posted this post, I was able to find my answer. It's the Android Operating System Screenshot tool But for anyone else that wants this feature, you need to open up Google Search & go to your Google Settings, Then go to General, then down to Edit & Share Screenshots.
