At least I'm not the only one.

Bettercut:
1. download bettercut from market
2. download icon pack of choice
3. long press on empty home screen
4. click on "shortcut"
5. go to "Bettercut"
6. go to "Activity".....wait about 20 seconds for all the items to show up (you will faintly see the thinking icon in the orange bar at the top right part of the screen).
7. click on an item, change name and/or icon as you desire and then click "create".
FYI, Folder Organizer is much easier to use though. I have no need to change my titles though as I'm not trying to hide pron.

Where can you find this modded Launcher2? That's what I thought it was but I couldn't find it here on XDA...
of course it's here on XDA... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=649475 and it's built-into CM 5.0.6 test 1

Thanks for the reply, I'm actually using CM 5.0.6 test 1 -- I wasn't referring to the app drawer in the video (I already have that and love it!) Was just referring the small icons on the home screen. I think nDrg was right, it could be "More Icons" --- not nearly as slick as I hoped
I was looking at it, and it cannot be more icons widget because that widget offers you 2 lines of icons smaller, but on the video you get 1 line with 8 icons.
Any idea?
you can add icons to just one row...its not that hard.

i have the 5 columns in the scrollable menu, but it won't turn 180 on rotation, either in the scrollable menu, or on home screens.
any help?

Change Apps in Home Screen Bottom Dock

On my captivate there are four apps on the bottom of all home screens: Phone, Email, Browser, and Apps.
Any way I can change it? It doesnt seem to be accessible/customizable.
I havent found a way yet either....so doesn't seem possible.

Yep, I figured it out. Follow this:
1. From the Home screen select "Applications"
2. Menu> View Type> Customizable Grid
3. Menu> Edit
You can now slide any App down to the bottom dock. You can even change it back to "Alphabetical Grid" and it will still save the Apps on the dock.
thank you sir!

Is anyone having success with Launcher Pro replacing touchwhiz?
I really prefer launcher pro over touchwiz. Are you asking how to change the buttons on the dock in launcher pro? If so, just hold down one of the little +'s until the menu opens up and go from there.
on a related note, is there a way to remove the different pre-loaded AT&T applications from the phone? there are a number that seem useless given other apps out there that do the same thing but better, but i can´t seem to figure out how to delete them.
keep your finger on the icon you want to move a second longer than normal (if you have your phone on vibrate, it will buzz) then you can move them around the screen as many or as much as you like. You can also drag them into a bin which will appear in the bottom of the screen. This action doesn't delete the app or icon, it just reappears in the apps page. Very easy but took me ages to work it out. So simple. Have fun

installed launcher pro - have a simple question

There is an icon of the outline of a person. when i click it it says "application not installed". what application is that?
Its just the stock android contact app. Just replace the link with a link to the contact app on your phone.takes like three seconds.

How do I remove the stock shortcuts that are at the bottom of the screen with Launcher Pro> i can easily add in others, for a total of 15, but I want to remove some of the ones that are pre-installed.

Just hold your finger down on them until the menu pops up. If you want fewer dock screens (5 or 10 icons instead of 15 as you scroll) you can change that in menu > preferences > dock settings > number of docks.

.... yes of course, but, the folder icon not reflect the content in the folder. GoLanucher permits to create a "live icons" or a "widget"? that display the contents of folder. I'm looking for an app or widget that do the same thing.
And no, i don't install GoLaucher because is not smoot as ADWex (for me) .

Just get Auto App Organizer, Its [email protected] sweet!
It will automatically organize all your apps into categories, These categories can be placed onto homescreen as folders with your choice of icon

[Q] Missing "Google" icon

Hi,
I've just installed the Android 4.3 cyanogenmod (cm-10.2-20130909-UNOFFICIAL-crespo) on my Nexus S and everything is ok, but I don't have the "Google" icon. This is the icon from where you can launch the google applications like gmail, play, etc. Is it in the 4.3 at all? It is very useful for me and would like to use it.
Thanks,
Did you flash gapps?..

Looks like you're talking about the folder on the homescreen with all the Google apps in it?
If so, you can make your own easily. Put one app on the homescreen. Then drag another app on top of it and it will magically become a folder. You can add a whole bunch of apps to the folder in the same way, rearrange them however you like, and change the name of the folder to whatever you want.
