Can't get it via play as not on UK site and nothing through wap store as mentioned by Dousan.
But works buying it from US web store as you can change to "location" and your network when going through the check out.
Noticed that they've dropped all prices to £3 now after that long £1 sale they had on. sure they were £3.70 or 90 odd before then. - ignore
Edit - £4.25 from Android Market or £3 via their store.. thats where I was confused on price.

It's in my gameloft wap store now, i just bought it £3, im downloading the SD Data now, I'll report back if its any good

That's not good Androhero, have you tried open it and let it force close, then long press home and start it from there? That's the workaround for Modern Combat 2.

yep tried that, tried uninstalling and deleting sd, reinstalling and downloading again, same resut

Just tried this to get MC2 to work. have a ticket with gameloft about it. Thanks for the heads up.

hmm... it crashes after the gamelft logo. Will have to contact them.

I have exactly the same issue.
Force close after splash screen.
Uninstalled / reinstalled, same issue.
I'll also submit a ticket.

Just pay Yongzh the couple bucks he asks for. Dude has turned it into a phenomenal emulator, updates frequently, etc. etc. I just played through Paper Mario (you lose absolutely nothing for the lack of physical controls here) and Majora's Mask (used Wiimote/nunchuk) nearly flawlessly. Yongzh is the single reason I can honestly say I'm not jealous of the iPad game/app selection.

sorry to hijack the thread but how did you get paper mario working? whenever i try to play it i get the flashing black screen every coupple frames

Are you using the official version from the SlideMe market? Papaer Mario run's really well for me. There may be a quick flash when switching between cut scenes, but gameplay is damn near perfect.

I didn't try v1, but if you were, that could've been your issue.

What the heck?? I bought the emulator when it first came out and heard that it got pulled by yongzh to make it better or something(?) I've been waiting for it to come out and forgot about it. Now I have to go on a third party marketplace and pay again??

I think some of the modules/source he used fell foul of the gpl and it got pulled from the market. When it got moved to slideme he made it free for a while so the existing buyers could get it again, then it went paid again.
I paid twice, and am very happy with it
btw, I use a ps3 controller with it, via the six axis app on the market.

And after the free time, it became a paid app. And the free "purchase" didn't count as purchase anymore.

i think when Google removes an app from market they should refund the money of anyone who bought this. i already paid once for this and i shouldn't have to pay again. At least i dont feel bad pirating it knowing the dev already has my money lol.

when you played paper mario did it have like a 4 to 5 second lag when pressing the start button to open the menu and then an obnoxious black white checkered background? trying to figure it if its emulator or rom. I never actually played that game but a quarter of the way through super mario rpg for the 20th time, i figured I would give it a try lol.

I use a wii controller with a classic attachment since it has 2 joysticks and the pad works great when playing N64 or any of the other emulated game systems, even works when I remoted into my laptop to play a NDS emulator.

Dead Space on Amazon Marketplace - For the Kindle

If you haven't seen this game, you probably should.
The (best?) game I have seen so far for an Android device and this one has been (modified?) for the Kindle Fire.

They incorrectly state that its a ipad version running (that version has been out for a while), the actual game is on the Amazon marketplace for $6.99

Funny - in Amazon's App store, when you bring up the page for "Dead Space (Kindle Fire Edition)", it says it's not compatible with my Kindle Fire.

Strange, I was able to purchase, install and play it without any issues last night.

What is everyone's take on the game? It looked good, but I'm skeptical. I also have played both games on 360 already.

I think, you only need to give an address in the US to be able to access the amazon appstore.

Issues
I've had many issues with this game since I purchased it, just won't open, takes many many times trying to open it to finally get it to play, and sometimes it will open, but get to the EA screen and Force Close. Once it finally opens all the way thou, it plays perfectly, never force closes or waffles. If it's been pulled, it was prolly pulled for these issues, many reviewers of the game in the Amazon App Store where having the same problems.
Although when it does play, it's very good. The gameplay is is perfect for a tablet, I was surprised at how well it really played, and the graphics look amazing.

super fun, pref shadowgun more though.

Even though its a paid app if someone would upload it that would be great. Ill buy it when it comes back to the store I'm just excited.

Your willingness to pay for it in the future, no matter how honorable, is not reason enough for anyone to upload this file. If you find it via other sources, good for you, but please don't ask people to do that on this forum.

graphics are pretty nice. I played this game on a gameloft tablet about two months ago and I had commented back then that I might as well be playing Sonic on an emulator. I actually take that back now.

Last night I had it on 50% of file 1 but it was late and I wanted to play some dungeon hunter so I canceled it figuring I'd do it this morning (and that was after like 10 tries). Before going to bed i set it and it got to 15% and I as like ok this will work. I woke this morning and its STILL at 15%!
Canceled it and tried to restart, now it won't start at all.... FML

I will wait a couple of days. The download is ridiculously slow and plagued with issues.

Yeah I figured maybe try again over the weekend. Releasing it the same time on both iOS and Android Market is great except the servers are probably flooded with everyone and their mother trying to download it.

I managed to download this in about 30 minutes over 3G.

I had no problems downloading, game runs great, and works well with Xperia play controls.

Strange, I tried over 3G also thinking maybe my WiFi was the problem but no luck. I'll have to try again tonight. Data service here at my job is horrendous.

I was thinking that at first, but then you'd have to find a sega cd emulator, the rom file, and configure it. For 2 bucks I'll bypass that, for the flawlessly smooth built for Android experience that this provides. Not to mention the graphics fill the screen without being stretched.

I made the huge mistake of buying Hot Pursuit form the VCast app store because I was dying to get it and it just wasn't coming out any other way (of course 3 days later it dropped free). I was ok with having bought it, except 2 days later I was on a flight to Florida, turned on my Play in Airplane mode and the game told me I wasn't allowed to play it because it couldn't verify itself over the internet!
Last I checked if I paid for a game its MINE to play whenever and wherever I want. I'd understand if it was an online only game, but HP has no online components at all. I deleted it off my phone right after that.
Luckily when I called Verizon the rep there agreed with me and immediately refunded me the purchase price and said she would forward my complaint to management. I'm sure it did nothing but at least it made me feel better.
