Hey gang! Is it possible to put the Hero Dialer on a non Hero ROM? I was going to just take the Phone.apk from a hero ROM I have and push it to the ROM Im using, which is cm-4.2.8.

I tried pulling it from a 3.0 rom but the rom is just a BLOB. I can't extract from BLOB.
I tried pulling it from the installed rom but it is odexed.
Looking for a complete contact.apk from 3.0 or 3.1
I want to try to install it on GB.
It's an awesome app. Would love to have it on my desire.

The Honeycomb contacts app uses the new action bar/fragments/animation api's that aren't present in Gingerbread, it will never run.

I have a HTC 3.0 Sense ROM installed on my phone, and I would like the calendar application I had on my previous 2.1 Sense stock ROM, because I don't like the current one too much.
Could somebody provide the flashable .zip file or an apk file for the calendar please?
I am looking for the "old" Calendar 2.1 Sense from the official ROM.

One option would be find a sense
2.1 ROM or ruu and extract the relevant file, but even a 2.1 ROM like LBC mod may have the sense 3 version.
