hi, first of all, EXCELLENT WORK on both CHT and CHTeditor. Nevertheless a few change requests
1. does anyone know how to move the retractable slider icon to a corner (similar to Opera). it simply looks silly sitting in the middle of the screen
2. setting a background image using the photo album, does not resize the photo. it seems to take the first 480x800 pixels . Is there a patch/solution?
3. where can I change BG image for the windows lockscreen, ie the image shown as BG in the start menu) (I know it can be done through Manila Settings, but why not from within CHT/editor.
4. winmobile does not seem to be able to handle subfolders when selecting a background. e.g., \wallpapers\portrait, \wallpapers\landscape and \wallpapers\widelandscape exist. If I point CHT to \wallpapers I'd love to see these subfolders.
5. I'd love to have 6 rows of quicklinks (there's more than enough room). CHTeditor does not allow it, probably direct regedit will allow it, but has anyone tried this?
6. similar to selecting quicklinks in 4 or 5 row, can the start menu look be changed from CHTeditor to look the same (not NOT hexagonal, but square).
7. even though CHTeditor is configured NOT to lock the screen when pressing close button (option 2), CHT screen lock activates every time. why?

Is there a way yet to change the right softkey in tf3d / sense ui to the programs screen? HD Tweak can change the right softkey, to anything in its right softkey list except to Programs (Default). That's what I want to change it to though. When I choose Programs (Default) and do a soft reset, it changes to camera instead.
I've tried HD Tweak and softkeymanager and neither will do what I'm trying to do here.
it's just a registry change. i changed mine to contacts. i did mine a while ago so i forget the details. i'll try to find the link.
Yeah, I've read around and some say it's just a registry change. Usually you need a name for the softkey and a path to an exe or shortcut right?
What's the path for or the location of an exe for that programs screen (the one with the rows and columns of icons with "+" signs on them) in TF3D / Sense UI?

I believe you figured it out. Arguments is not needed though. -manila off doesn't do anything.
So RSKPath points to left... that's really annoying. I remember reading this somewhere, but it was so ridiculous that I never tried it. LSKPath doesn't do anything though. =( Definitely a bug somewhere

That'll work if the thing you want for the softkey has an actual shortcut or exe file. I want the right softkey to be the programs screen in TF3D / Sense UI (the screen with the columns and rows of boxes with "+" signs on them).
I've tried "Vovichek_Jamrecords_20shcut". It not only generated duplicated shortcut at start menu, but also disabled the wallpaper.
I've reviewed HDWall, but it is complicated for casual use.
Any other alternative?
I just want to:
1. add more quicklinks at home tab
2. display the same wallpaper at all tabs
btw, any way to make the task bar and bottom button bar transparent?

My only suggestion would be to review your comment about HDWall, that "it is complicated for casual use." Just follow the steps on the thread on how to do it. It's eeeeeeasy! It makes a cab file that gives you exactly what you want - wallpaper on all tabs and the task bar and bottom bar transparent. (They're the default settings!!) Just make sure you get the latest version.

Totally agree with the above. With Hdwall unless you're changing wallpaper every 5 minutes I don't see how it could be classed as complicated. I've made 5 new wallpapers today and now got them all on the phone ready to change as and when I'm bored of the current one. It's the time it takes for a cab install to change them. ie. a minute or so with a softreset.
im personally looking for something between hdwall and maxmanilla, any of that exists? i really like maxmanilla (maxtt?) but im really trown off by the fact that 'random' regions of the screen control the layout, id rather just have a menu somewhere (like maxmanilla 2.6 if not mistaken)
Any chance those two guys could work toghether to make a even better manilla replacement? just a thought

I would like to use HDwall but I don't know how to start the program. HDWall.exe doesn't work on my computer. I get an error report : the application failed to initialize properly ... It doesn't work on HD2 either. Please help...

Tried AntWorks Auto Wallpaper Changer but it doesn't work on the Sense interface.
It messes my Sense UI on HD2, appears corrupted after a while. Is there a better program to change automatically Home wallpaper??

i want this sort of image (although in an ideal world would look less paint edited)

There currently isn't a solution for different backgrounds on different tabs. You can either have one for the home tab, or one for all of them.
Since touchflo has been around for quite some time and no-one's ever had different backgrounds on each tab, I don't expect to see it any time soon.
If you'd be interested at a background on all tabs, have a look at HDWall. Just be aware that you'll need to install the high quality cab (in the first post) in order to use cabs created with HDWall correctly.

you could do this using the background for all tabs cab. use the wallpaper as your homescreen and you`ll see it on the other tabs too. if your wanting a homescreen wallpaper and this seperate for the other tabs i dont know how you would do that, someone on here will know. the background for all tabs is in the mods sticky top of this forum

Atm the icons go diagonally in sets of 3`s
Im wondering if its possible to re-arrange the set of 3`s to be in a straight line without the diagonal look

jk... This may work or you could try quick menu which gives you an expandable windows-like start menu in the top right corner.
or if your unable to find a list start menu cab you could find a start menu 4x4 grid cab and reverse engineer it.

anyway that wasnt what i really had in mine so ive put together some shake and save screenies to give and idea.
The first one shows the way the layout of start menu icons are on my TD2 with it being in a diagonal / upsidedown triangle look
The second one shows how i would like the middle icons to be...in a straight line and together if possible
does any1 know if it can be done.Im assuming there has to be a way as GAz TD2 tools allows them all to be in a 4 row pattern but when i us that feature it makes scrolling really laggy
I split open a 4x4 start menu cab and it shows the following manila files that you would have to edit (LUA and Mode9 editing), however they may be different files for different builds.

Some alternatives,
Take a look at the "Post your topaz screen" thread. I saw a user using an i*Cough* launcher app that was launched from a HW key that may interest you. You can also achieve something similar by using SecondToday combined with Ultimate Launcher. Then you can scoll your apps with the old Cube animation launching from your LSK.

Im running v2.0.0.0 CHT Editor on WM6.5 on a HTC Blackstone, and I am wondering, as I cant fin the answer here or in the fone settings etc....
How do you remove quicklinks from the page after they have been added?? What has happened is that with my fat thumbs, I have added multiple instances of the same program, and instances of programs that I don't want on my quicklinks table, and all I wanna do is remove them and replace them wih the programs etc that I actually want on the table....PLEASE help, this is getting incredibly infuriating....Thanks guys.
I don't know which version of CHTEditor I'm using, but if I click "Action," then "Edit Quicklinks," I just tap the ones I want to delete, then hit "Finish," or whatever, and it's done.
I don't have my phone in front of me, so I'm not actually entirely sure of the names, but you should get the general idea.

On the bottom bar: Menu - Edit Quick Links - Then tap lightly the quicklinks you want to remove (if you hold, then you move them) and a "X" icon will appear on their side - On bottom bar: Done and voilà, the icons you (and ME too) don't want disappear.
