This is a theme djfreake and I found over in the Nexus forum. I decided to help him out and port this gorgeous theme over for his up and coming ROM. I've made a few changes from the original theme.....I have created a new battery icon, signal icon, and 3G icon, and a few other taskbar icons - and after seeing the screenies come back from my personal tester, I 100% just had to release this as a named theme for everyone to use
THIS IS BUILT FOR THE LATEST DAMAGE CONTROL 3.2.3 - AND WILL SOON BE COMING TO THE FRESH ROM!!!
THIS SHOULD WORK ON ALL SENSE ROMS BUILD WITH THE LATEST OTA RUU!!!

I know the feeling, I'm trying to build a kernel -- once I get that perfected... I hope to put a full ROM (theme, bootscreen, the works). But... I won't start that until I 100% have a working knowlege of building a kernel.

I've been wanting a red themed version. Any plans to theme the Froyo non-Sense versions when they come out? I'm liking the ADW launcher more and more. BTW, I showed my wife the Cherub themed version and she wants it for her Hero.
I am a huge fan of the color you add!
The problem I have is I don't keep a rom of my phone longer than a few day's it seems like. I can't wait till I can pick a version/dev. and stick with them so I can keep your colors on!
**I am running Froyo 2.2 now, and it's just boring everytime I hit the menu option. Switching over to Baked 9.6 now, and I am sure it will be something new after that.

I do plan on bringing some color and life to Froyo....when it comes out good and stable There has also been another request for porting "cherub" to the Hero...and let your wife know it will be happening

are all the selector colors still green throughout the phone .. u know when u bring up a menu and press on something ... that android green ... haha

This is my Hero One theme. It began because I had a lot of requests to port my White and Blue theme for Legend over to Sprint based ROMs. So, I started to port it over, and while I was doing it all the ideas that I had been throwing around for an update to my original theme began working themselves into this one. It snowballed, and the end result is Hero One.

-Lockscreen info: If you use the Vanilla lockscreen it will turn your buttons blue like the picture. If you use the HTC lockscreen it will make it clear. It does not add or take away either.
-Includes the Genie Widget from 2.1, not that crappy port for 1.5.
-I did not change the app icons because this is in fact still a Hero, not a Nexus One. Nor did I add or remove any apps. Its just the theme, not a ROM.
I built this using Fresh 2.0d, so it should work on all Sprint based ROMs. As always, make a nandroid and I am not responsible for the health of your Hero. And, if you feel like using my work in your work, please acknowledge it.
-Turns out not everyone likes blue . So after I got quite a few PMs asking for a more stock version,I put this together. This will probably be the last update to this theme. Thanks to everybody who has supported and enjoyed this theme! And with that, the AOSP Green version:*with a 3G icon just for andyriot
-Please note, that if you flash the version with live wallpapers, your weather animations will cease to work correctly. You should just go ahead and remove the HTC WeatherWallpapers.apk if you havent already done so, or flashed Flipz's zip.

Oh, that's already in the works. I already have two themes, just different color variations which are still being worked on as well as a couple of boot screens. I figured I'd take a look at your theme and see what I could use... but we'll see where that leads, maybe I'll skip that process.

Awesome! I decided to keep working on the normal Rosie. For some reason no matter how light I make it, it comes out dark.
Awesome Good Job Blue is my color also keep it up.
Love this! Only wish the vanilla lock had a black background.

This is the updated version of the Black and Blue theme I did a while back. There are some significant improvements IMO. I built this off of Fresh 2.0d so it should work on all Sprint ROMs. Its also built on the Desire Rosie port so LWP run right out of the box, but does not include the OpenGL hack that disrupts everything else. I just started liking my weather animations again.

Update #2:--I ported JschiSurf's MT3G Rosie to work with this theme. Below is a screenshot, where the center button is now the app drawer, left is phone, and right is contacts. Just push the attached Rosie.apk to system/app.(EDIT-I only tested this on the Chopped Rosie. I have no idea what'll do on the other 2 versions. I mean, it'll totally work right, I just dont know how it will present visually)

Love the theme. Goes well will alooyious or however u spell it. One suggestion is to incorporate black and blue in the contacts list. Have always love that look. Clock and rosie bar are sick looking.

The Dialer One only comes up when you press the Phone button on the home screen, and when receiving calls. It also has a **** ton of other options built into it, and is totally customizable. But if you press the phone icon in your app drawer, the HTC dialer comes up(which is what I used Koni's raised dialer for).
I wouldnt mind if you used it in any of your ROMS at all, I know that you would give me my props. And, I just wanna say sorry about your job, but I like this newly proactive fixxxer infinitely more than your past incarnations. Keep it up!

love this theme but I do have a small issue with the font. it's. just a hair too big. do you have the ability to shrink it maybe 1point?
Any idea what is causing this besides font size?
Looks awesome as do all of ur themes ... would love to see how the clock widget looks with like a indiglow blue for the numbers .... I think that might sharpen up the clock alittle and give this blue and black theme alittle more blue heehee.

No, thats the font. Its the same thing that happens with the font from the original Darkstar theme. It doenst bother me cause I guess Im used to it. Heres a zip to restore back to the original font.

Hey Everyone,
I submit for your approval, EvoTang. It is essentially NexTang for the Evo.
It should work on all current Sense ROMS. But you have to be completely rooted with NAND unlocked. It was built on Damage Control.

After applying the theme the topbar is not that bad. I don't know about anyone else but the orange highlights around the txt box is a super turn off

I will work on the original NexTang notification bar. It seems like that is a concencious. Ill have updates to follow .
Also I noticed some of the text input boxes are hosed. I'll fix them first.

Well, let me just say... haven't been tempted to do a custom rom at all till seeing your screens.. now it's a MUST!!!! Black is my favorite colour and your rom/theme would be well within my likes...
Don't know the advantages to custom rom or the disadvantages but either way.... looks are important...
You can see by laptop screen, darker the better:

It's called "Darkside" for Windowblinds app. It's looks really good if you like dark themes but every now and then you'll notice something cookey about it. For the most part though, I use it 95% of the time.

Haven't tried Dark Ginger yet, but in Dark Froyo 2.2, the reboot and power off buttons weren't themed (they were white with a gray outline while airplane and sound were solid gray, all on a white background). Was wondering if it's fixed on this one, or is it a straight port?

Wow, I never noticed that since I use quickboot. I see that now with DarkGinger too. I'll look into fixing that. Thank you!

Not a problem. Don't have my laptop yet, so I can't theme or fix things, so I figured I'd help you out a bit. Not to mention you'd probably do a better job anyways.
And I think Dialer One just got an update, too.

looking great so far.
the widget editor in adw still looks a little bit funny, the buttons and icons look nice, except for the color of the text. also, the background/border is still grey. I figure you already know about it though.
I just tried out navigation and it looks so awesome!
I imagine it will be easier to change the text color of the notification drop down once cyanogen adds it into the settings. are you going to wait for that or are you trying to change the background and text colors of the notification drop down?
1 thing I would like to see is a different icon for gps in the status bar. right now it is the location bulls eye with a solid center.

Yeah, all those things you mentioned I will work on. I have not changed any status bar icons to have people enjoy gingerbread icons for a while till I complete the images there. Different sizes so I will have to make them again cause resizing the images they look weird so I will remake the old ones smaller! The pulldown bar is giving me issues but yes once they complete the code changes with the rom then my edited images should work. They have theirs already in the framework but the code is not there yet! Thanks for the feedback!

How to Install
1) Place zip on root of sd-card
2) Reboot into recovery
3) Wipe cache and dalvik cache
4) Flash zip
5) Reboot
6) Reboot your phone after it boots (Trust me!)
7) Do the cabbage patch or the Carleton, the one that suites you best

I had this issue too , my weather wallpaper force closed also . I deleted it through root explorer and then pushed it back via adb and now it works perfectly .

No. This is for MikG, framework is all together different. Sorry I should also statethat this will not workfor the latest MikG2.0. Seems as aamikam is baking them faster then I can cook themes. Gotta love that aamikam, he is a beast!!

I cant even remember. But the really funny part is almost the same day I released aamikam released MikGv2.0. So its back to the drawing board. By the way to anyone running MikG, please upadate to 2.0, if you dont you wont know what your missing!!
