First off, I did NOT port this app myself, the_fish did and jubeh modded it. i just made the widget a little more "me" :]
This should work on any 2.1 rom without sense, I use it on cm5.0.8-DS
What I DID do though was make the widget transparent to make it look more... beautiful in my opinion. The original thread is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=679707&highlight=htc+music
there you will find the original htc music app without the transparent widget.
it is in an ZIP format that can be flashed to the system with a recovery, or you can unzip it and install the APK with a file manager etc.
i hope you like it
I will be editing the widget more in the near future!
as far as I know, the buttons on headphones and bluetooth does not affect this app, it's been this way since it was first ported. If anyone has a fix for this, please enlighten me
other then that, that's the only bug I've run into.
If the_fish or jubeh does not want me posting this, please notify me asap and I'll remove it.
My reason for posting this in a new thread was because I plan on taking the HTC music widget a step farther, and truly beautifying it, such as how the original music mod is.
EDIT: I have now just updated the widget even farther, it is now a 2x4 widget.
Version 3:
transparent_htcmusic2x1v2.zip 1x4 full transparent widget, transparent selectors. This is my favorite one out of the three. Original HTC Icon.

transparent_htcmusic.zip 1x4 semi-transparent widget, orange selectors. Jubeh's themed icon.
Can you make this work for phone with sense as well? I have sense but use ADW and would love to have this widget.
Thanks.
does this work on Galaxy S?

Also I want to change the default launcher icon:
Pretty much this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=654079
Also, I see everyone posting their screenshots with a big digital clock and weather what widget is this: see here:
The icons in the status bar are from an app called seepu. And the weather widget is beautiful widgets. That's the smaller home widget.

Ok thanks I checked it out.. But it didnt give me the last 2 icons on the top left, presumably temperature and ram??
It only gave me CPU usage and Network...
the icon on the right is from an app called SetCpu and I'm not sure where that particular temp notification is from, but the Weatherbug app has one.

I saw the pics from GSM Arena review of the HTC Trophy (a WP7 with Sense!)
The icons used for the Weather/clock app are huge and better than the old good Desire ones
I am wondering how hard will it be to port those weather icons into the Desire Roms for N1?
First thing first could someone ripe them from the Trophy's rom??
I could try to replace the png(s) in the framework file and see if it will work but what about the animations?
You can replace the icons but they will get re-sized as the Fancy Widget (the widget in question) is a 4x2 widget and allots a specific amount of room for the images.
The right xml's need to be edited to make it 4x3 and make extra room for the large weather animations in addition to placing them on the left hand side.
Fancy Widget?
I am talking about the stock Sense weather/clock widget that comes in EvilD and MM roms, you can resize Beatifull Widgets and surelly Fancy widget using ADW launcher, but anyway we still need those splendid weather icons from a WP7 rom
The HTC Sense clock/weather widget is called the Fancy Widget (not to be confused with a new Fancy Widget in the market).
When you re-size a widget in LP or ADW, it simply re-sizes the widget background. The Icons are not re-sized.
I left the sense rom and now using Adams rom. But I miss the news widget that sense had were you choose what news source you wanted and you where able to scoll thru it from you main screen widget. Any know where I can get on like that or if there is even like other then a sense one?
I am looking for one too for my wife. Going to change her home screen from sense to GoLauncher or ADWLauncher.

Been there. Was there for a long time. And there are two apps I've found which replace the HTC News Widget.
The best one (though not free) is Pure News Widget (Scrollable).
You can select any feeds, or just select from your Google Reader RSS feeds, select just 1 source for the widget, or select multiple... and it looks very similar to Sense (there are skins as well, one of them being a Sense skin).

The second one I've found (which is free) is called AtomaRSS Scrollable NewsWidget.
It's great, and even looks a bit like sense, fully customizable (though I'm not sure if there is skin support yet). Only thing is that it is a bit more complicated to set up and whatnot, but still not very difficult.
Can anyone provide these icons and dock, im on a CM7 ROM and can't find the jpg's at all. Oh and the included "phone" text next to the phone icon aswell, your help is much appreciated guys.

I can't provide those for you, but i can tell you those are stock HTC sense icons and it looks like a dock for one of myn's evo roms. Could be wrong on the second part, but that screenshot looks like it's from a sense rom.
Use Root Explorer and copy and paste the System apk, phone apk and whatever other apk that relates to the other icons onto your SD card. Then copy them all to your PC and extract each apk...one at a time so as not to lose track of each...with 7-Zip. Then look in the "res" > "drawable HDMI" folders for the icons and dock.
The apks will be in the "system" > "app" folders.
Oh ok ill try that and see what works, thank you guys I appreciate your efforts!

Oh no man not the sense icons on the homescreen, but the icons used for the phone, app drawer, and adding widgets down on the dock there.
In my quest in finding a 4x1 battery widget wich looks cool on my phone and tablet, i could'nt find any.
So i've developed a beautifull 4x1 battery widget wich has a nice and adjustable gradient.
The app comes in two flavours: The free version only includes one widget where the (not so expensive) payed version includes alot more...even a full working binary widget.
The widget runs from android 1.5 up to 3.2 so its very suitable for Tablets too

Great app! But would love to know what launcher and theme u are using?
My theme is not really what makes that homescreen
I'm using ADWlauncherEX with a custom dock image at the bottom.
All teksticons are created with "TextIconCreator for ADW" (you'll find it on the market by that name).
The clock is from "beautifull widgets" and the toggles below the battery are from "Widgetsoid".
all together you can build this kind of screen regardless of wich theme you are using.
Check out Battery XL Pro
DiamondJinx what clock/date widget is that? It is awesome!!
Sent from my Transformer Prime TF201 using XDA Premium HD app
Its called "WP Clock 2.0" I love it
Hey, do you plan to include other widgets or the ability to add my own widget? I love the battery, but would want to try other graphics.
Another one, can you add a third color for the gradient? I have things in mind like moving from black through green to white or something like this.
Cheers
Oggy
