Most of the ic_menu icons come from an icon pack called Crystal Project (http://www.everaldo.com/crystal/?action=preview#). Some are directly from and some I modified to work with the theme.
I did sometimes use parts of the original icons, or one of the icon packs, or both, in combination to create some of the icons used.

I love the look of this theme, but for some reason, I always change to something with stock icons. your color scheme looks awesome though!

The MetaMorph would be easiest, cuz all you will need to do is removed the icons themselves (icon, ic_launcher, etc..)

I have a morph in my thread to restore just stock icons if you would like to use it. It should be fairly comprehensive, but I don't guarantee it. Though it should be easy enough for you to add anything that is missing.
By the way, glad to see all these new themes dropping. I like making personal hybrids. Stunning work like always jairomeo.

Posted alpha3 has some more edits to the menu icons and notifications. Also updated the pattern unlock thanks to manup for pointing me to the names that I was over looking.

Nice looking themes...like the light blue color!

Huge update to the theme. Almost complete. A few more bits and pieces left, and then I will make it for CM. I will need someone will to test though.

Added a MetaMorph file to the OP for those on CM that may want to try this.

MetaMorph you need the MetaMorph app from Stericson to install. I will make a flash version for CM if I have someone that can test it.

- Your guides on "framework-res\res\drawable-hdpi\btn_dropdown_selected.9.png" are screwed up.
- CarDock, superuser, and com.amazon.mp3 are not themed at all

The CaeDock and Amazon are themed, there may be something missing the the .thm file. I do not theme the SuperUser.

On the CarDock and amazon I don't think they are themed on enom or meta ver. I opened the zips and looked at the images looks stock to me.
Edit: Well actually \com.amazon.mp3\res\drawable-hdpi\icon_application.png looks to be changed from green to blue?

The CarDock icon is themed, its inverted to silver. The Amazon icon is themed from green to blue. Inside the app I did not theme it because no one really uses that app anyway. Amazon is the last app Ill theme.

¤ [Theme] CM6 - xTheme Improved [9/1/10]

This is an entirely custom job I've done that is comparable to xTheme by Fabolous. Instead of using other Droid X-like themes, I pulled all images from the Droid X & Droid 2 system dumps and made some modifications to my liking since the other themes didn't have the "right feeling" to me.
Please do not repost (or port & upload) my work without permission; do not claim any of my work as your own; I've put a lot of time into making this what it is today. Before doing anything questionable, ask yourself how you would feel if someone took credit for your work. Thanks for understanding.

If you're having trouble getting your statusbar and pulldown font colors to look the way I have them in the screenshots, go to:
Settings -> Cyanogenmod settings -> User Interface -> Notification colors
...and use this configuration:
Notifications ticker color= #ff000000
Notifications count color= #ffffffff
No notifications title color= #ffffffff
Clear notifications label color= #ffffffff
Ongoing notifications title color= #ffffffff
Latest notifications title color= #ffffffff
Items title color= #ff000000
Items text color= #ff000000
Items time color= #ff000000
• It probably won't let you enter 8 digits. Instead, use the last 6; the first ff tells the system to make the colors completely opaque. 00, on the other hand, symbolizes fully transparency. Play with the alpha bar under color picker to your liking.

Just the status bar or do you want everything to be red, too? I did a side project months back where I turned everything in SenseUI from green to red, but iy isn't 100% complete yet. It's more like ~90% finished.

To OP, I noticed the signal icons were really offset and WAY too small. I decided to center and enlarge them and IMO it looks a lot better. can send you the edited pngs to add them in if youd like.

That's what I'm using.

Updated original post with ports for SKyraider 2.5.2 & Motorola Droid running CM6 rc3, as well as a black statusbar mod. Let me know if they work out for ya. I'll post updated screenshots of the latest UI when I get time.

Er the Droid port doesn't install. There's an error concerning a boot.img or something..? I thought that maybe the zip file was the problem so I put the framework-res.apk into a different zip file and that installed, but there are still force closes everywhere :[

Modified and reuploaded, try again. If it doesn't work, toggle signature verification and try once more. If you still don't have any luck, give me time to check it over.

The Droid X status bar has a blue tint to it making it look much sleeker. The one that is in your screen shots is just white.

why isn't there a service.jar in the droid port? Also I installed over some other guy's droid x theme hoping to get the improvements you listed, but I didn't get any. In fact, it's as if the zip might not even have actually installed.. o_o.

I know many of you are patiently waiting for the release of Rule The Air. As promised here is the first release. This theme is far from being complete, there are still many aspects which need to be themed so please be patient with me as I continue to complete it.

Installation Instructions:
You must be running A Sense Based ROM which was built from the 08/01/2010 leak.
The files used in this theme are from the SkyRaider 2.52 release.
This theme is untested on other roms and could potentially crash your phone.
DO A BACKUP!!!!(This step can be done from ROM Manager)
Copy the zip file to a directory on your SD Card
In ROM Manager choose install ROM from SD Card and choose the zip you just placed on the card
In the ROM Pre-Installation window put a checkmark next to "Backup Existing ROM" ONLY!!
DO NOT put a checkmark next to Wipe Data and Cache!!
or
You can install the theme from Recovery - Just make sure to do a Nandroid backup first
Thats it.

Just installed on the 8-1 dated New Leak and looks great except for one big thing:
Please remove the red line under the notification tray.
It sticks out way too much and stops any black backrounds from blending in seemlessly with the notification tray. It also doesn't look right as the battery icon and red line overlap each other.
Again I think it would look cleaner without it.

Like stated in my first post, this is a work in progress. I am aware of the icons resting on the line and have been slowly but surely raising them up so they do not. I messed around a bit just making the notification area just black without the red line and it didnt look right. I will play around with it again.

If your ROM is based of the 08/01/2010 leak then yes it should work.

Does there have to be any line of any color? I think just removing the line would be great if possible otherwise I would take black or whatever color the rest of the notification bar is.
Anyway thanks for all your work you can tell how much polish went into this.

Can you post the wallpaper that is shown is the first image? That in my opinion is what makes the theme awesome.

Having it solid black notification area looks incomplete. The trick is having it blend (transparency) but doesn't look funky when the notification area is pulled down. I am working on it now.

this is a theme that has taken influence from several other themes and builds all credit goes where credit is due, I simply collected the parts i like most about them.

-the menu that appear when you long hold the power button has a different icon set thats easier to see
-changed the install progress bar (the one that comes up when you side load apps) to black and green
-themed the dialer no more buttons just numbers with the green letters below them
i think thats about everything.

-new font pack (bold font did not exist in the old one and so i changed it)
- fixed the status bar date not staying theme
- new solid color status bar that wont become transparent when going through apps
- fixed some graphical hiccups i found while running through it
-attached is the themed version of ADW i am using in the pictures
-New! i have also attached a modified version of the Cyanogen wallpaper app that has a bunch of wallpapers that go great with the theme
-New! i have also attached a themed version of the HTC_IME that i am using (pictured above)

thanks man, i had no intention of making a theme a few days ago then the darksmoothie theme showed up and i liked it but i had some things i didnt care for so naturally i tampered with it and was like hey maybe somebody else would enjoy using it

The "arrow" for the appdrawer, however, seems a little too far up to me.
I'm about to nandroid and try this out!
EDIT: I installed your version of adw, but I didn't like it too much. Like someone else said, the notification text can be a little hard to read, and the date in the top left of the dropdown doesn't match the rest of the status bar. There is a similar problem with the stock Calendar widget, unless I use a lightly-colored background. All in all, I like how clean and professional it feels; it looks like it could be stock, which is why I don't usually use a theme. Great work! I look forward to additional updates

the status bar in general confuses me its transparent to whatever is behind it unless its on the home screen
edit: got the status bar staying black, thats one thing off the todo list

I've got this ported over to CM 6.1 using ASimmons theme-tool. Its fantastic and a must have theme. Kyle, great job on this theme, I really like the rounded look of the pull-down status-bar

nightly 126 and ASimmons theme injector. I haven't tried the updated version (from earlier tonight) but if its anything like his other work, it will work and be fantastic. just follow the directions from the original post.

asimmons is running it through his theme porter now since i was having trouble with it, but if you want to that would be awesome, and im glad you like it i did make one other change to it other than to the one i posted, and thats the volume up and down color is orange instead of black and white but it isnt a big deal ATM, so yea please do it if you want to, thanks for your help

Alrighty. I'm current porting another one of my ports to cm6.1 as well. If something happens and he can't get it to you(I hope he can), I'll work on it. Probably be tomorrow though.

Thoughts
This is stock Evo Sense 2.2 styling with a tasteful splash of two shades of blue. This theme includes a couple of mods that will add useful power control widgets to the taskbar, and new window transition animations throughout your ROM.
At first, you'll notice the changes when you click on things (icons, dialer, links in the status bar, radio buttons, checkboxes, etc). As you use the theme, you'll notice that things that were android-green before are now either a subtle light blue, or, more often, an intense navy blue.
The transition animations are most easily noticed when using the android menu button or with pop-up notifications.
If you slide the taskbar down, you'll notice JsChiSurf's Power Control Widgets.
These are set to default in this theme, but you can change them by following his guide here.
You'll also notice the white background with a blue droid. I threw this together pretty quick, I may update it for the next revision.
The battery icon is self-explanatory. It works at 1% intervals and has a very nice charging animation. The graphics for this icon were made by someone else but I was unable to find the author. If anyone can link me to a credible source, I will post it here.

Reboot into recovery
Nandroid backup

It's very subtle, that was my main focus when building this was to make sure it didn't come out tacky and overly focused on one color

Works great for me. My only comments are that I could use more blue (I guess you can't please all of the people all the time!), and I don't like the grey percentage in the battery icon. It's too hard to read just by glancing at it, in my opinion.
Other than that, I'm loving it. I was torn between AvaFroyov10 and some other roms becuase I wanted a blue theme, and the one I was using wouldn't work with AvaFroyo. So your theme is perfect for me.

I don't care for the grey text in the battery, either. I'm planning to make a new icon that ties in with the blue theme for the next revision.
As for more blue, throw me some more ideas on where you would like to see it and I'll see what I can do.

I've got no idea what's possible and what's not with theme making (I'm pretty NOOB to android, I've been on WinMO from about 5 years ago until last month). But if it's possible to modify the taskos widget with a blue theme and include it in your theme, that'd be pretty sweet. here's what my homescreen looks like with your theme (and a blue version of the smooth calendar widget I scavenged from RUJELUS22's Edition Blue Theme Sense V2.4):
That android green is sticking out like a sore thumb! I've definitely got a donation headed your way if you can make it blue for me.
As far as more blue, maybe a blue highlight or outline along the top of the launcher, or blue icons in the launcher. or maybe blue icons in the notification bar? That might be too much, I don't know, I'm not very artistic!
and BTW, the blue themed battery indicator would be kick*ss.

Why would you need a mirror?? Its a direct download..
You'll have to try it on your install, nandroid then flash and you'll be fine, worst case you restore your nandriod backup. You'll lose any themed elements in calkulans rom if he has themed anything in frameworks..

In your screen shot, the one with the three together, the one on the right has the drop down notification in blue. Care to give the png and file name where that is located?
