I was wondering if anyone was thinking about developing an app for RDP, in particular FreeNX/NoMachine NX. I currently use ConnectBot to SSH into my server and androidVNC to remote in to my desktop and it is very sluggish, I am under the impression that RDP is faster than VNC. Thanks for any advice.

Yeah uh, that'd get you absolutely no info on NX.

Oh, sorry. I thought you were just looking for an RDP client and those were simply examples, not request.
Yeah it didn't help much but that was a funny animation! I was looking if anyone intended on porting NX Client to Android.

+1 but why does microsoft always ignores platforms, and the marketplace fills with shabby lookalikes

Does someone have it already?
Its says on live blog that "Android: Client comes pre-installed for T-Mobile users in the US."
Any Tmobile user can confirm this?
SOURCE
It wouldnt matter if you got it. Its run through a proxy server using tmobiles network. It's not usable over wifi and has not yet been patched to be used by anybody not on that network.
Thats the last I heard of it anyway.

Wow, nice find! Gonna try it soon.
I dunno about you guys, but I knew about this for awhile. I've been using my G-Tablet with all of the emulators as an NES, SNES, and Atari for months now, with all the games haha.
strange, but nice
If it was possible to use PS3's Sixaxis/Dualshock 3 controller with Sense roms I'd be happy.I don't have a Wii.
it's nifty, but.....
pretty neat
wow this is great
This is kind of old and this has been known for a long while now, but personally I like the PS3 controller better. No need for attachments, and more buttons.
Cool function!
WOW..is it work for all phone?

Everyone who submits an app to Blackberry's App World before Feb.13 will get a free Playbook.

yeah. A full list of everything supported/unsupported here. It's a good thing that my app is very simple. The emulator is very glitchy for android apps. Hopefully my app works well on a real playbook.
Thanks a lot!

At least it's free.
I thought that I would never get a playbook because it is terrible, but after this offer, I am all for it. If you already have an app, there is no reason not to take advantage of this offer.
This sounds low but if anyone is going to submit an app and does not want their Playbook, I will pay a small fee for your troubles, my dad is a blackberry user and would definitely like this.
Hey I was just wondering, do they check the quality of the app? I can easily make a hello world one where you push a button and a clock appears, but nothing actually useful. Is there any requirements for the app, or is it just submit and get free play book?

We know the thought of switching mobile
operating systems from Android has never
crossed the mind of our dear readers, but
if you are a bit curious about Windows
Phone 7 and too lazy to head to a local
smartphone retailer to check it out for
yourself you can get the experience on your
device now. Simply point your Android
browser (or iPhone browser, for that
matter) to Microsoft’s demo site and a
mock version of WP7 will load, complete
with swipe input and navigation via the
trademark tile layout. It’s far from perfect,
but it is an interesting marketing tool for
would-be smartphone buyers.

Hi all developers!
we are 2 students of Computer Engineering at the University of Florence and we just made our first app, named "Seen At..??".
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mannaia.anonymousfacebook
"Seen At..??" lets you read your Facebook messages without letting the sender know about it,
that is without making the 'Seen @' message appear on their Facebook chat screen!
Everytime you receive a Facebook message notification, just open "Seen At..?" and read the message, without
letting the sender know about it!
Obviously, the app is totally FREE. Try it out!
VERSION 2.0
-----> Totally new look!
Great idea, will be using for sure.
thanks for the replies!
I think that something like "Seen At..??" for WhatsApp already exists. We are still learning Android programming, we aren't experts at all!
