RockPlayer Beta supports Android 1.6 through 2.2 and can handle a wide array of video formats including AVI, MKV, RMVB, FLV, MP4, 3GP, WMV, MOV, ASF, DiVX, Xvid, H.264, and RV40.
You’ll need an ARM v6 or ARM v7 phone to use RockPlayer and you’ll need support for VFP. The HTC G1, G2, and G3 are not supported.
In case anybody was looking for this app, its amazing. I've been using it for a while but the official Beta was released on the 23rd. The official Beta is suppose to expire in July, in which case we have to wait for an official release.
I am attaching both the original leaked RockPlayer and the RockPlayer Beta files. If Beta locks out on you, feel free to use the older version to hold you off.

So I have had my TF300T for a week now, and I have the screen time out at 2 mins. I am using the app Mx Player to play .avi's. In the mx player app i have it set to keep the screen on. But after like after a random set of mins it stops the video and shows the last screen (video selection screen). Then the screen turns off after two minutes. This is probably an app bug, but are you guys having this problem? Do you think it is the app, the video file? If you have had this problem how did you fix it? I really like mx player... Any help would be much appreciated!

Edit: found out that the video wasn't in the right format

it is well known that video stops in middle..sometimes
it is unfortunate that mx player, dice player and bs player still cannot play all the videos well...... especially some full HD files like 1080p,720p MKV, MTS, M2TS videos due to the TF300 video format limit ( AVI, DivX, MPEG4, WMV, QuickTime, H.264 ).
to transfer MKV,MTS,TiVo,MPG movies to TF300 for enjoying in 720,1080p with these video players, you need a third party software to convert HD,full HD videos MKV, MTS, M2TS, FLV, TiVo, MOD, 3GP, MPG, etc to Asus Pad TF300.

Thank you so much for the help! I was starting to get worried that no one would help me.. thanks for the heads up that this is normal. So you say i need to convert the video to a better format. What is a good format? And what software are you talking about? if you need to send me a pm, go ahead. Thanks for the help!!
So with a lot of googling and a lot of time spent. I figured this out:
Supported video format for the Transformer Pad TF300 is: MP4 h264 and the audio needs to be AAC.
I tried MP4 h264 but using mp3 audio and it wouldn't work with the normal gallery but worked with MX Player(as it seemed, tested for an hour) with no problems or hick ups.
But i just tried a MP4 h264 using AAC audio and it does work with the normal gallery. I hope this helps someone else with the same issues i was having. I used DVDFab 8 to convert the file.
If you are having sound issues with mx player.. Use sw decoding
Better option is using dice player...

Let me just say this so there's no offence taken here They are dvds I own. There was one way I found a while back using dvd shrink and handbrake but the sound was always too low almost un hear able.

Works great for DVDs and Blurays I've converted to watch on our Xooms. I just use the preset XOOM and XOOM HQXT settings. Movies look great on the XOOM's screen, and they are a pretty good size (anywhere from 1.5gig to 2.5gig depending on the movie and selected preset). Sound is great, volume is fine.
If I you want to use HDMI out, I suggest you read about the differences in the built in presets and try them to figure out which looks best.
Only issue, just like Handbrake, DVD Catalyst doesn't break or get around copy protection, so you need something like AnyDVD to work that.

DVD Catalyst works perfectly but ever since I got Dice Player there is no need to convert anymore. Dice has always worked for all my files and it is working for me on the Team Eos Jellybean release as well.
DVD Catalyst is hands down the best software to use.
Try DVD43 And Handbrake together. Only works on a 32 bit operating system.

I have gotten flv, mp4, and mkv all to play.

It is going really laggy all of a sudden. (Didn't use it for 6 months because of startup failure while booting when android logo is showing) - fixed it with RM (recovery mode)
