I am in the UK, and received my OTA at 5:30am this morning and i was on ERE27 before. I started the update but it got stucked, i left it for like 30-40mins before removing the battery. I waited and fortunately google sent another OTA at 7:30am and i then updated successfully.
Now i am on FRF91, but i realised i am still having the memory problem, and from settings i'm still seeing 25MB (of 196MB)-like on Eclaire. But Estrong is showing 171MB and running services from settings i have available memory close to 200MB.
The phone warned i am out memory when i tried installing an app. OUCHHHHH.
what am i missing?
Any help please!!!
Have you tried anything like a reboot? It usually clears all the cache gathered durign the update.

Anyone getting a force close on the market after the update? I tried with wifi on and off, I get a message telling me there's no connection and retry or cancel and as soon as that message pops up a force close message pops up. Reflashed several times but haven't done a wipe yet

Had the same problem at first, reflashed the radio update and it maybe?? fixed it. hasn't happened since.
should we apply the radio update after the rc33 update? maybe that's the problem?
First time I flashed it before, had the error, reflashed and not had it since.
any of you guys running themes before the flash? also how long did it take to load once you did access the market?
seems like a wipe fixed it
yeah i was having the same market problem it was really slow to work...a wipe did the trick though..now im just searching to see if i need to re do all the cache for market, browser, etc..
TBH, i think it may be a coincidence that you all got it to work after reflashing/wiping.
I had the exact same problem but didn't see many posts about it so I figured I'd wait it out.
After about an hour, the problem went away and I haven't had any issues since.
mine didn't go away all day
No problems, and yes you install rc33 first and then the radio afterwards.
hmm guess i just got lucky then. now that i think about it, at one point i changed 3g to 2g and then back, and then it worked, so i dunno.
I can't see how the issue went away since there is no radio applied in RC33.
I had to install the radio for the market and Sync to work
im having market issues after 5 days of it working
i get that forced closed and error.
dont know if i should wipe and see if that fixes it blah.
I personally ALWAYS wipe prior to installing a new rom.
did you reboot?
install the radio?
throw the phone against the wall?

I think we were talking about reinstalling the radio update, which I didn't have to do for the issue to go away.
RC33 Hanging Issues ...
All,
I was also having the same problem as allot of folks on here. As a result, wiping does correct the issue. However, wiping also cause you to have to re configure all the apps you have. The issue is that the hacks for Apps on SDcard and Application caches causes hangs when upgrading to a new version. The reason is because the symbolic links previously created are no longer available so the applications cannot locate their application data.
I saw on another post that there is a work around to fix this issue without having to do a wipe.
The fix is simply to recreate the symbolic links that previously existed.
If your phone is stuck at the android logo, this can be done by plugging in the USB to PC and use adb to recreate the symbolic links. Then yank the battery and power it on again.
Hope this help others.
are the market notifications working for anyone? ive upgraded more than a few of my applications but ive always had to go and manually check.

I haven't had any to try. :-/
My Market will browse all day long but randomly when I try to download something it just sits at "Starting Download". I have to cancel it, exit the Market, rinse and repeat before it goes. Weird.
I downloaded a game from the market but my phone crashed just before it finished installing.
When my phone rebooted I had lost about 20 mb of internal memory but the app was nowhere to be seen.
I tried cleaning the cache/data and installing market updates. I also tried clearing the browser cache, downloading other apps and deleting that annoying smdl2tmp1.asec file. But still the memory was missing.
In the end I was forced to do a factory reset. It gave back my missing memory of course but after re-installing all my apps I seemed to have much more memory than I did previously...
This is making me think that there have been other times when downloadsed apps have got stuck in the phone somewhere.
Where does the marketplace store its downloads and can I delete them without a rooted phone?
To get this across, this is not an "insufficient space' error.
Alright so to make a long story short: (I hope)
I have used Weapon G2x for about 2 mo, everything ran fine. I wanted more power+battery life over the LG cam, so I went back to EB 2.3.5(7) (oct 11th update) + Trinity T15. I also formatted my SD card before that (which I havnt done yet).
After installing that I ran into the CM issue with the LED notifications being disabled and got reboots after about 20 FC's after a reboot. So it was essentially a boot loop, just after all the FC's in the first 20 seconds. So I did the same as usual, cleared cache, factory reset, format /system.
Reinstalled, updated with Titanium, the same jumbo as usual. This time, I cannot update the apps that need to updated via the market. I looked into it farther (after clearing data from market app), and uninstalled some apps then tried re-installing them. All i get is a box with an error that says "... Was unsuccessful due to an error" Thats it.
To go to the farthest realm, i reverted to my stock backup to try that. I get the same thing now. On every ROM I try, I cannot update my apps. Now I'm not sure if this is a TB thing, or a market issue with my phone, but if i reverted back to my stock version, did nothing but try and update an app, I dont possibly see how its a TB issue.
I ran some searches, and nothing exact or at least nothing was 'fixed' in any posts I found. So I'm shooting in the dark here. To be honest, i hope its something totally stupid and easy to fix. If I read right, going to a backup will fix your ext4 to ext3 issue? Im not even sure if this falls into that category or not, but just thought maybe. In that respect I also wanted a clean phone so i formatted everything except sd card via cwm, was their anything in their I shouldnt have formatted? (emmc would be the only one I could see posing an issue) Please help me =/
Well it seems to have been slowly working itself out. Very odd, but I still cant update a few apps, but I can update some, and dl apps now at least. I diddnt do anything, it just seems to have started happening after a few reboots... Just making the update.
Well this started happening last night, but whenever I try to install anything, I get the insufficient storage warning. I've rebooted many times lol. 20gb free on phone. 28 free on sd card
Try running Smartclean
Nope. Also tried clean master. I have so much free space it's insane. I've used 8gb of 54 available. I've uninstalled all apps but ones I absolutely need. Guess my next step is to uproot and go back to factory stock?
When I switched sd cards, Google music gave me a warning it couldn't download music. I was stumped. Went into settings and noticed my old sd card was checked, I had changed it out and selected the new one. Did you swap sd cards?
Sent from my LG-D850 using XDA Free mobile app
I have been getting this error today and I have tried clearing app caches and data of Play Store & Services but it didn't work. There is tons (23GB) of free space in the data folder and I have used autostarts to enable every app in every event as I had been messing around with this today (since I got the same error on my SGS once and some totally random unconnected app that I had disabled an event for that caused this) all to no avail.
I am going to just do a wipe and start again as I have tried everything I can think of..
You have to download sdcard fix for kit Kat from the play store and run it. You have to use that app if you have done a factory reset, flashed a rom, switched sdcards, etc. This will fix the problem.
Anyone have a Confirmed fix?

This is incorrect. I had SDFix already installed and set and the message came up. Actually, I reset my phone today for no reason as now on 2 apps it says have updates it is coming with the same message again! Though last time there were more apps needing updates so I am a little further along lol

It worked for me on my Note 3 after I had done a factory reset. It's not the same phone but I figured it would fix the problem.
Ah then u were lucky.
As you can see there is not really a lack of storage in the places where there usually would indicate a problem, usually the data or datadata folders depending on ROM used.

I have tried:
Clearing app caches
LG Smartclean
Lucky Patcher - removing ODEX files
For updating Apps: removing the App's folder in data/app-lib
Clearing Play Store/Google Play Services cache/data then uninstalling all updates
This to delete any bad packages
Moving most apps to the SD card
With no success. It's not just the updates that won't install but new apps too.
*Apparently on Samsung phones you can try *#9900# then 'Delete Dumpstate/logcat'

Sorry my idea didn't work, just trying to throw that idea out there since I had had that issue before. Hope you find a fix because I know that issue is annoying.

No worries. It was expected on my lowly I9000 with only about 300MB for apps in the datadata folder but I just got my super modern G3 with 32GB storage/3GB RAM about a few weeks ago so I expected it would deal with anything thrown at it and I never expected it to have this same problem especially on the stock ROM! Actually I think I had more apps installed on the I9000 and it never came up with this error lol
I think after trying everything I could find online that I am going to flash the stock from from LG Flash instead of resetting as I have done and see if that fixes it..
**UPDATE: Well I thought I would deactivate all Xposed Framework modules...then I was able to install/update as normal! I re-enabled but this time I left XPackage Installer deactivated and it's all working! Perhaps if you have Xposed and Xpackage Installer activated to try this..and to think I spent the whole day resetting, reinstalling and reconfiguring....my initial suspicions were right on it just being some random thing :silly:LOL
This one worked for me
LG G3 5.0 rooted and it worked
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vinny.intsdfixer
FYI this method worked for me for everything except Google Play Services. Thanks to D0MINO I just deactivated my Xposed modules - rebooted - updated Play Services - reactivated - reboot - profit. Thanks!! (been annoying me for days)
Researching online, I have read that this has been a common problem reported for years. After my May Security update, Google Play Store has been acting up. I haven't seen if it does it when downloading new apps, but it constantly gets stuck at "download pending" when updating existing apps. The only workaround I have found is to "clear storage" and wait like 20 minutes for it reset and find updates again. Then it works for a little while (~1 day) and then stuck again. I've also tried removing my Google account from the phone, and then reinstalling it...didn't work. Does anyone know how I can permanently fix Play Store so I don't have to clear storage every day?

I have had that issue as well as missing .01 MB and just sitting there for hours. I try to update 1 app then reboot the update another. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. This was on my oneplus5t stock rom 9.0 as soon as I installed LineageOS 16 all issues with updating cleared up. just restored back to 100% stock and issues again.
