Been playing arond with varous apps to increase the font and icon sizes, and wondered whats the max icon size (in pixels) I can use on the note?
Looking round for some hi-res icons that are larger than default, some of the apps Ive used tend to zoom in, which look awful.. I want to make the most out of the phones res....
Would also help when trawling through the thousands of icon packs, to find ones that have bigger icons...
Love my new note, sold my gs2 to get one, best move Ive made!
Cheers
EDIT:
Ive got an icon pack (zip file) which contains icons of 125x125 pixel, hi res, and am using GO Launcher EX with grid of 5 rows 4 columns, and I the icons aeem the same size.. I notice when I move an icon, and the grid shows, the spaces between the drid marks is huge, how do I make my icons use more of this space???
I think Go Launcher automatically re-sizes the icons. Don't know if GO has an option to turn it off, but i know ADW has it.
the Note is xhdpi (320 dpi)
(Extra-high density screen)
96x96

I'm wondering how I could change the DPI of just my status bar. I really like the sharper look of a slightly thinner status bar but I don't want to lower the DPI of my entire homescreen because it makes some things, like icons and widgets, too small. I have been using the xposed framework to adjust the DPIs of specific applications but I don't know if there is something in that list of packages that is the status bar.
How can I just change the DPI of my status bar? Or even just adjust the width of it?
Thanks!
Hello, i have a rooted lg g3 and am looking to make it look as much like a nexus device running lollipop as possible, so far i have changed my nav keys and am looking for a way to edit the icons of my satus bar. Are there any apps that replace the icons, or is there a way to replace the system images to manually to my liking?
No real complaints about this device. Just not a fan of how every thing in the status bar is smushed together. Are there any apps or mods where you can customize arrangement (i.e. center clock) that do not require a ROOT? Thanks.
I have installed a white theme that i really like but now the text from status bar can't be seen as it is also white. Is there any way without root to change text colour or background? Changing the theme picture top could also be an option if i could find it and paint it dark but it's downloaded from theme store. Can it be found and be modified?
Did you find a way around this?
I once had an app called super status bar installed. It doesn't affect the original status bar (because AFAIK that's not possible without root) - but it replaces it completely and you can customize it then freely.
There are probably several other status bar replacement apps on the Play Store too, there should be something fitting for you.
