I have deleted IE from my start menu by mistake. has this gone for good and if so do i need to hard reset? It isn't in the recycle bin, thanks

It is gone for good, but the good thing is you can make a new one!
I can make a cab for you if you want, or you can create a text file with this:

#\windows\iexplore.exe[CODE] save it as "Internet Explorer.lnk" and copy it to your start menu.
Or, you can go into \Windows with file explorer (make sure all files are visible) and find iexplore.exe and then tap "Copy" in the menu, and then go to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs and tap "Paste as Shortcut" from the menu.

I have deleted the link to the settings from my startmenu because I had the item twice with wa2. No the trial period is over and I want my settings menu link back :-(
How can this be done?

I have found out that there is a startmenufolder in the windows directory which contains the link to settings which i have deleted, so please could someone open the link to the settings page in textmode and post the content of it? Should be something like this: 21#:MSCALENDAR?outres.dll,-10002

My device, WM5, only has a 'Settings' directory under the \Windows\StartMenu directory. Sorry can't help you. Others?
Oh no, actually you HAVE helped me! I just created a new folder and named it to "settings". Although i left it empty, wm takes me to the settings now when i click on it! very strange...

I don't really understand the question. What exactly did you delete?
If you are referring to start/settings, then using File Explorer go to windows\start menu\ and create a folder called "Settings"

I cant figure out how to delete MrIncredibles dialer. I was able to delete the cab, but cant delete the rest
Also, I cant delete everything from QuickMenu, when I push my Start button, it tells me that QuickMenu cant be launced(because I have deleted some of the files, jsut cant find the rest)
OK Two things...
One: If it was cooked into the ROM it usually cannot be uninstalled well.
Two: Start -> Settings -> System -> Remove Programs. Find it on the List and Click Remove.

I'm not using a cooked rom, I did remove the dialer from "remove programs". I dont know why I didnt do that already .
As for QuickMenu, it isnt in "remove programs" anymore, because I removed it from there a day or 2 earlier. It still left something behind though, becuase it is preventing me from using my original Windows Start menu.
I copied "naviPanel.exe" from Windows folder to Start Menu/Programs folder.
\Now, i want to delete this copied .exe file from the start menu folder.
Can anyone help me out?

I've got a folder on my storage card which contains a mobile ver of online comunicator(GG) this works without instalation so could you tell me how I can add a shortcut to it to the program list (start menu) to be able to put it on the quick links? thx
You can use Resco Explorer. Just right click on the exe file and choose send to start menu as shortcut.
Other file explorers will probably have similar functions.
Or just create a shortcut for it and paste it in \windows\start menu\programs

I need help with iGO 8.3.4.117940, I´ve downloaded this version but due to some reason I dont get a shortcut/application in my start meny. I cant put it in my hometab meny. I can run the application in the sd card where I´ve saved it, it works with no problems but I want to have it in the start meny as well.
Could someone advise what to do

tap + hold file. click copy
browse to my device/windows/start menu/programs
click menu > edit > paste shortcut
now accesible from start menu and can be set as quick link
