Anyone get Google Earth working on one of the 2.1 roms? I've tried Flipz and Damage's, but couldn't get Google Earth to work on either one.

Install "Market Enabler" from the market, then fake T-Mobile US as the provider. Force stop the Market application then start it again, do a search for Google Earth, it should be there now.
I just did a stock install for 2.1, and for the life of me I can't find google maps in the market. Then I went to the online webstore and it says google maps is not compatible with the XT720. Anyone know whats up? Thanks!
It's weird because I'm running on 2.1 stock rom right now and I have google maps (5.8).
You say you didn't find google maps on android market but did you change the filter in the settings ?

Thanks, I solved the problem. It wasn't the filter apparently google maps wasnt available for my country because of the 3D maps update which is really stupid. I used market enabler and got both google maps and the newest google plus.
I don't know what the heck is going on, but all the market enabler apps just disappeared from the now called google play store. Can any of you guys see them? Is google going to ban it?
The apps certainly have disappeared. Anybody know what's going on?
I live in Bangladesh and google now is not available here. I used a workaround to get it going -- uninstalling google search, installing version 2.6, opting in and then updating the app via play store. But with the new update to google search app it does not work anymore.
So just want to know if anyone else have any success with other methods. I have googled and tried out several guides only to be back to square one.
