I can't find out how to change the fonts on my phone. Every time I search the market I just look up packs for Handcent or something. How do I change the default font?

go into system/fonts and find DroidSans.ttf and DroidSans-Bold.ttf pull them...find the fonts you like, rename them to the two listed above....and push them back. Kind of tedious, but that is the way I get it done
Amazing! Thanks for the info. works great!
If you're fully rooted look for TypeFresh in the market. Create a folder labeled fonts on your sd and load it with fonts. Run TF on your handset, backup factory fonts, choose which font you want to change, pick the font you want to replace it with then choose apply fonts. Free and easy! Although the other method mentioned before does work too. Let me know if you need any help....

I am trying to figure out how to change the icons for phone, messages, twitter, and browser into words. How would I go about doing this? I'm sure it's possible, I'm just new to android.

There is an app in the marketplace called NinjaMorph that will do it from the phone. Alternatively, you'd have to pull a copy of the app from your phone to your PC, replace the icon, and push it back to your phone via adb.
NinjaMorph is the best approach, however, I've encountered instances/apps where NinjaMorph just doesn't work. For those I went with the second option above.
On top of that you would need to create your own "word" icons in a editing program assuming you haven't already found an icon pack.
FolderOrganizer is what you're looking for. It will place instances of itself in the shortcuts menu and from there you can rename, change icons, etc., etc. I currently have over 20,000 png icons that I have collected for ObjectDock and all I do is resize the ones I want to 48x48 and copy them over to a directory I call Iconz on the SD card and I can use them whenever I go to change an icon.
Cheers...
Just to clarify... I also use Folder Organizer, but that doesn't change the default icon for the app, just the ones that show on the home screen.
If that's all you need, then Folder Organizer is great, but I came to this thread looking for a way to change the default app icons so I just wanted to clarify that point about Folder Organizer.
Think I'll take a stab at NinjaMorph. Thanks okolowicz!
Ok so what I'd like to do is take fonts from some of the free font packs available from the market, and use them as fonts in Beautiful Widgets.
I've installed them, but BW doesn't see them.
So, I'm assuming what I'll have to do is pull the font packs in adb, and push them back somewhere else. I don't know what directory they need to be in, though.
I could also be completely wrong and not know what the hell I'm talking about. Any advice would be great. Thanks.
Also, if anyone can tell me how to go about changing the system font, that would be helpful.
Edit: Ok figured this out. Still don't know how to get beautiful widgets to recognize fonts...
Ok. I'm an idiot. I forgot the BW settings only allow you to change the CLOCK font. The date font is changed by changing the system font which I've already got covered. Der. Mods you can delete this whole thread if you like.
Hi, I previously had an SGS and installed the font Felbridge from the Market. The SGS allows you to change fonts via Settings > Display > Font Style
I can't find any menu equivalent of this on the HTC Sensation. Does anyone know how I can change to this font?

I asked the same question, here's the answer:
Thanks for at least trying to look up the answer.
For changing the default font, sorry but no, root access only. And for changing the text sizes, honestly there isn't a app i know, even with root access, to change the font size. Maybe installing another font once we obtain root will fix the problem for you. Sorry i couldn't be more of more assistance.
EDIT: Use spare parts+ in the market. You can make the font larger there. Just tested for you. Doesn't really change the font size in the weather app though im afraid.
I changed font via iFont app, but looks like not everything changed. I want to change all the fonts to the one I want. I attached a pic where you can see the different fonts.
I installed a ROM which came with Ubuntu and I changed to a font named Milonga, but when the letters are bold it still shows as Ubuntu.
