Sorry guys if this was posted already. I had been searching for a way to unroot totally back to factory and the RUUs were giving me all sorts of errors... 171, 170 etc. So I finally found a way to actually make it work.
** If you are rooted and have the 1.47 update and cannot unroot with the RUU you were in my boat. Here's what I did:
1 - Download the ROOTED 1.32.651.1 from http ://geekfor.me/evo/rom/Supersonic_1.32.651.1_rooted .zip
(Remove the spaces from the url)
2 - Put that zip in the root of your SD card and then boot into recovery and flash it.
3 - Download the official 1.47 RUU and it should work on your device with no problems.
I am sorry if this guide was elsewhere but this is what I came up with on my own and I wanted to share it in case there wasn't a working unroot guide out.

Yes. http://www.shipped-roms.com/shipped/Supersonic/
the ruu does not restore the PRI to 1.40 if you have the engineering boot.
From what I can tell, there is no way to restore back to 1.40 pri.
Can someone post the stock 1.47.651.1 in a zipped image format for the bootloader??
My USB port broke, so Im trying to return to unrooted stock to send my phone back to sprint, but since the USB port is broken i can only do it through the SD card..
Thanks,

There are adapters and you can also put the card in another phone.
I will look for the image
Download to root of sd and rename to PC36IMG
http://www.mattwhitlock.com/PC36IMG-1.47.651.1_eng-hboot_RA-1.7.0.1.zip
They do not check for root and to be honest its perfectly LEGAL now to root a phone so no WORRYS leave it as is
thanks again for the really quick response.. I have a mircoUSB adaptor that i use, and my roomate has the same phone as me so i can get my battery charged.
i may just do as you say and go with the sprint stock rooted rom.. kuz this is proving to be more of a hassle than i thought it would be.
thanks
It's still void the warranty even tho its legal so save yourself a potential hassle and unroot

In the MOST EXTREME case but its highly doubtful and has been proven over and over. I for one agree you should unroot it as best you can so it doesnt allow the carrier or htc to figure out the root method etc but if you can't I wouldnt worry one single bit. Good luck let me know if I can be of anymore help
hmm.. okay.. so that zip file that was there.. i already had, and i already tried flashing that.. and it didnt work last time, nor did it work this time
i have hboot 0.79.000
i have radio 1.39.00.05.31
and i flashed to a rooted 1.32 rom like it said i had to do.
Im using clockworkmod recovery 2.5.0.1
When i go to install zip from sd card>choose zip> and select the file attached, it just tries to open it and within a few miliseconds its back to the screen i was just at.
if i were to rename it to PC36IMG.zip and let bootloader load it, it will say 'wrong or no image'
I think im going to give up..
i found this. i will give it a try i suppose:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=701835
EDIT: NVM i forgot my USB doesnt work. lol.. oh well.. i dont think sprint will do anything.. its a sprint rom anyways.. Ive replaced hard-spl'd winmo phones throu att before
arrrg.. windows mobile made more sense to me.

You arent nand unlocked just bring it back do a full system wipe
It also doesnt hurt to try again make sure that you download a fresh version of the file and wipe the sd card of any other files if possible if at least make sure there arent any other pcimg files there

I tried Syndicate, which I liked but I'am a fan of the stock feel.
Epic Experience wouldn't install
Installed Asop
Then I went to my backup I made of My stock Rom just to see if everything works right.
What is not original is when you boot into your phone/power on you see the sprint logo and S galaxy logo. Well and image of a flashing Android Banner keeps flashing/popping up on the intros, but not on outro/shuntdown.
hmmm have u checked for a bootanimation.zip? thats kinda what it sounds like b/c i heard that were able 2 use a bootanimation.zip but something has 2 be changed in (i think) the init.rc file.... worse case scenario just flash back 2 stock
No I haven't, where can i get the zip from?
i mean from installing one of the roms it might have installed a bootanimation.zip (im not 100%)
So what do I have to do?
I would try flashing with odin 2 fully stock and that should bring everything back

What type of backup did you make? The nandroid backup from Clockwork Recovery does not backup the kernel.
You may need to install the stock kernel.
IMHO, the best thing is probably to flash the stock image using odiin & then root / install Clockwork Recovery (or whatever you used for backup) so you can restore your data.
You can then be sure you are starting from original stock ROM & kernel.

it's not bricked.... power off the phone then press and hold the power key and the vol down key at the same time til you see the HBOOT screen. vol down until RECOVERY is highlited then press power. That will bring you into Recovery mode. now wipe data/factory reset... then wipe cache partition.. then go to advanced and wipe Dalvik Cache... go back to mounts and storage and format system...
after all that then go back to install zipfrom sdcard and reinstall miui that should do it
Im not going anywhere so I'll be here, let me know how you do
Ouch. That sucks. Don't worry though, there is hope.
What you will have to do is remove your SD card and download a stock RUU and it will flash in Bootloader. Unfortunately I believe it will unroot you. I am not positive on that though. I will post a link so you can be reading a little more about it, we helped a guy thru this the.other day, but he wasn't rooted. Should be the same process though. You'll want to wait until we know exactly what to do because this is your one shot before you got a fancy paperweight. I have to run to atnt for a minute. Start reading so you'll know a little more of what is going to go on, and hang tight. Someone else may step in before I'm back, but you can start familiarizing yourself with the process shortly.
This fellow was pricked during an OTA update. About the same steps will be taken...

Yeah, thats not the case here, i've done that multiple times and it remains the same.
search around on here for a stock rooted rom in PD98IMG.zip form There may be one inside the hack kit but cant remember. put it on your sdcard boot into bootloader by holding volume down and pressing power. let it search for the update. hit volume up to confirm update after it finds it. If you can access hboot your not bricked take a deep breath and relax

you have a micro sd card reader on your computer ?
Here's a link to gb stock rooted. Look at post 4. Credit goes to gene for the file.
To flash you will need a way to transfer files to your SD card.
Download the file and rename to PD98IMG.zip. boot into hboot it will scan and ask you to apply the update.
If you can't transfer files try the ruu exe. Version you downloaded.

Thats when I decided to try the ARHD 667xe Rom. it Installed complete but never rebooted after that. Battery was at about 38% when I flashed. PLEASE HELP

Happen to have finally found that post searching all dayand looking thru it now, but thank you for being there. let you know how it works out for me. thx again
Ive been trying the unbrick method all day with diff linux systems, on 1st script I get..."The bricked device is on" ...Use the above node to perform operations using the emmc_recover tool". with NO feedback....
1.Would flashing the ARHD6 XE on my Tmobile Sensation 4g be the cause of the brick?
2. Would I have to us the Sensation XE package to unbrick instead of Sensation 4g if that were the case.
unbrick guide is Great, just need to know where I may be going wrong!
thx
One possible reason is your battery you mention that youre battery was 38% charged when you flashed. It may haved dropped during flashing and you might didnt notice the flash method did not finish properly.
Lesson here is do not flash rom if youre battery is lower than 50% coz you wouldnt know what will happen. For safe flashing make sure you are fully charged.
Hope you recover phone coz it looks like it will be recovered using the method posted by malybru.

Are you unable to post in that thread?
@darkmantra, Thx for the advice Ill keep that in mind from now on. But I did get to see the flash come to a complete finish and hit restart on 4ext, during the reboot is when things went dark. hope I do get it going tho, thx!
@Malybru, I found that thread hours after posting this thread, I can C&P to that thread if that's whats best... But the issue I have is as partially described here.
I have Tmobile Sensation 4G
1. Did factory reset with PG58DIAG file to SIM UNLOCK .1111111
2. Backup Recovery
3. decided to try new Rom, ARHD6 XE with beats (not sure if meant for TMO Sen 4G)
4.flash completed, went black on reboot
5. Computer now see it as QHSUSB_DLOAD
6.Used Ubunto8 & Knoppix to run script ./brickdetect.sh.... "No return" script reply
7. now the PHtoolz live CD, but "file not in Directory" when clearly in Home/Ubuntu folder
ANY ADVICE!!?

I know this isn't technically the right section for this but I put it here in hopes more people would see it. This is very important for anyone rooting using the dirtysanta method and perhaps other methods as well. It would be nice if this could get a sticky because people need to see this or this problem is going to keep occurring. I'm seeing it all over the threads.
DO NOT FACTORY RESET FROM INSIDE THE ROM. DO NOT USE LG's BUILT IN FACTORY RESET IN THE PHONE OR YOU WILL GET STUCK IN RECOVERY. Use the factory reset option inside of TWRP if you want to do a factory reset.
There have been many people (myself included even though I knew better and told myself not to do it before I did) who have got stuck in recovery because of this and it's not common sense to get out of it. I've been rooting and messing with this stuff for over 5 years and for 2 hours tried every trick I knew and nothing worked. What did finally end up working for me personally is this:
*restore your full stock backup (if you have one)
*after the backup is restored, in TWRP, go to mount, and mount the system. Check the box and press the mount USB storage button
*power off device
*use the button combo to boot into TWRP. It's volume down + power (hold them down), as soon as you see the LG logo let go of power for a brief moment and continue to press and hold both buttons until a white screen comes up. Choose yes for the next two options. This will bring you back into TWRP.
*now go back to mount and check system, and press the mount storage button, and reboot system.
lol this is only because it give you your stock boot.img. So if you factory reset, you have to flash SuperSU, no need to freak out.
If you format /system, you will need to flash a ROM, if the ROM does not flash SuperSU, you will h ave to flash it.
That's all folks!
That said, who wants a VZW Custom ROM and Kernel? Making the thread now. Identical to my H918 5.1 MOD ROM

I tried flashing supersu.zip but that wouldn't work either. I challenge you to factory reset in the rom and then once stuck in recovery flash a new rom and the supersu zip and see if that works. I did this several times and it wouldn't work. I tried it with flashing a rom, and after restoring a backup. What appears to be happening is the system isn't mounting and it doesn't recognise that you have a ROM installed.
Not freaking out either, just trying to let people know not to factory reset inside the rom but use TWRP. There have been many people with this issue.

Yea I knew better too, that's the bad part. In 5+ years I've never factory reset while in a rom when I have root and TWRP installed. Before I did it I even told myself it was probably a bad idea and I should just use TWRP. But my lazy conscience said "ahhh what the heck! just do it, it's too much trouble to boot into TWRP and besides, it might work ok" I hate my lazy consicence :'(
Exactly what I did and exactly what happened.
Gonna try this in the AM. One question...
If I'm able to flash back to "stock" using a deoxed stock rom, how can I then get rid of the boot warning so I can return this device to T-Mobile?

I used this guide https://goo.gl/ZHZPfO and it worked perfectly. Had a little stress when attempting to flash the stock recovery, but after installing two again, I was able to revert back to stock. Locked bootloader and it's as if I never did anything but boot up the stock OS.
Returning to T-Mobile today and just waiting on my Oneplus 3T to ship (granted I'm pissed off because the 128gb version is out of stock).

Glad you got it fixed.
Just for the record, this thread isn't for helping people get back to stock, its main focus is to warn people not to factory reset inside the rom. Then I just shared the method that worked for me to get out of being stuck in TWRP. Not saying you implied any different, I'm just clarifying for anyone that may read in the future. It's awesome return to stock methods are now popping up which are usually good for fixing all sorts of issues.
Enjoy your OnePlus 3T
