Please help! Cant find sling player app in market! - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

I recently rooted my EVO 4G. I cannot find Sling Player mobile player in the app market. Does rooting my phone effect what apps I have available to me in the market? Sorry if this is a dumb question. I have spent some time trying to find the answer in the forums

Movies on the HD2

Hi everyone,
I 've been looking around on the internet searching for the best way to watch movies on your HD2 and I've been looking for the best way to rip DVD's and I haven't found anything really good yet.I know that core-player should be really good, but that isn't for free, and for DVD-ripping I haven't found anything good yet. So its a double question actually:
1. What's the best app to watch movies?
2. What's the best way to ripp your DVD's?

In my opinion TCPMP is the best option considering its also free.
tcpmp (free with ac3) or coreplayer (payed without ac3 but imho a little better playback...)
i use both
i am using clonedvd mobile for ripping

Sorry mate, discussions of hacks, "warez", and "appz" are not allowed on XDA.

[Q] NHL app?

Hello everyone. I'm pretty new to the HD2 and so far I love it, but I'm a huge Hockey fan and I cant seem to find any NHL apps or programs. If anyone here knows of one please let me know. Thanks.
Me too... but I have had my HD2 for nearly a year now and have only found
NHL related Apps by switching to and Android build on SD and uploading
from Marketplace, not found any WinMo Apps.
Ok, thank you very much. I guess I'm still a noob and I'm scared that I'll screw up my phone by switching to android!

[Q] [HELP] Sixaxis with Galaxy R?

Hey there!
I have recently registered in xda, but I've been looking through these forums for months, and I admire what this community is doing and how it's doing it.
I bought a Samsung Galaxy R a few months ago, and now I'd like to connect my sixaxis controller to the mobile so I can play PSX easier and better.
I've been trying it but the "Sixaxis Compatiblity Checker" on the market gets stuck and doesn't do anything.
Do you know if anything has been developed or how to do it?
(In the description of the compatiblity checker they say that in the last update SGS2 is now capable of connecting with the sixaxis... just look at it).
Thanks in advance
Sorry for refloating, but I can't believe anyone hasn't tried it yet or doesn't know anything about this. At least tell me it's not possible and I'll take that off my mind!
Ty!
Dude seriously...you are talking about some third party application/accessory which is only popular among the special group of users namely the gamers. I personally don't play at all and have never heard of it you wrote. We're kind of SGR/android freaks but only few of us are familiar with such stuff. So I am sorry but I cannot help you.
