Widget to turn On/Off "Mobile Network" - Android Apps and Games

Hi,
on HTC Sense there is a widget that can turn on/off "Mobile Network". I am looking for a replacement.
What I am *not* looking for is a widget that changes APN setting, but one that toggles the checkbox for "Mobile Network" like the original one.
Is there something in the market? Tried Switcher Pro, Enhanced Controls and various other widgets.
Thx!
oC

Search the market for '2G' and you'll find: 2G-3G OnOff.
Or any other widget you want. All of them will be a shortcut directly to the settings to change it. Since it's not possible to create a one-click widget. (Weird, since on my Desire with Sense, there is a 1-click widget).

This sucks :-(

i use GTWidget Data....works great for me...only problem that it has is if you use home replacements and switch through them or update them the widget will go invisible so all you have to do is re-add the widget and then the original widget will appear.

Search market for curvefish. This developer has many toggle.
I know what you want, a data switcher on or off.
The best that i've tried: "APN OnOff" from CurveFish. Easy to use, fast and reliable.

Well he is looking for a one click one. Like the HTC ones. I have just tried what he already did and true. The extended controls renames the APN and switchespro semi disables them with a text "use Data when no wifi available". What basically means it will turn itself back on pretty soon itself or in about 40 mins from your last use when you turn the screen on.
OnOff does reneme the APN also.

[Request][Widget] Any Data Enable/Disable Widget for Froyo?

Before Froyo, if I wanna enable/disable mobile data usage, I used a passive way, changing the APN server setting, to fool the system so it couldn't connect.
In Froyo, there is a new option under Setings -> Wireless & Network Settings -> Mobile Networks called Data enabled/disabled, which is a much direct approach than changing the APN.
But up to today, I've yet to see a widget which targets at this option. Currently I hv made a 3G shortcut to that setting page on to my home screen. Really hope there will be a toggle widget instead!
So how do u guys enable/disable data usage at the moment without a handy widget on Froyo?
Thanks!
P.S. I know about SwitchPro and Extended Controls. They worked as expected but in the old APN way (changing the APN server name), like other widgets such as apndroid. I m looking forward to a widget which can make use of the new froyo setting.
(yeah I know 2 approaches produce a similar effect. I just wonder if I keep the Mobile Data setting on and let it to connect to a wrong address will cause any battery waste. Hope u understand my point of view.)
SwitchPro just updated their widget to include turning the data off for real. Not the APN way. When I updated, it was defaulted to off. Took me so long to figure out how to get my data back up
Old APN way is still available under the settings too.
I use extended controls power widget. It looks like power manager, but with more options and customabilty =D
JuiceDefender has an APN on/off widget. Not sure if it's in the free version or not.

[App] SwitchPro Widget

I'm sure a lot of you already use this, but this widget is a must have IMO. It basically has toggles for almost every setting you might need (e.g. wifi, bluetooth, reboot, flashlight, etc.) and is highly customizable. The latest 1.8.1 update also has a toggle for 4G, and is confirmed working. Give it a shot, it's only a buck, and the dev is very responsive.

don't be sorry, dazzle is nice but doesn't have a 4G toggle (yet )
I don't get it... When I long-press the screen, I am able to add widget toggles. I already have one for 4g, Wi-fi, bluetooth, gps and LED Light. Is my phone special?
Those are the Sense Widgets. These will work for those of us with Sense disabled.

They don't work without sense, not to mention, those are each 1x1 icons. With SwitchPro you can fit 7 switches on a 4x1 area. I have it to switch my wifi, 3g, brightness, ringer, led flashlight, and sync.
SwitchPro had a data button too that works with the EVO.
So you have 4g and Data toggles. This program is crucial for any EVO non-sense launcher.
are there any free widgets that toggle 4g. it's really the only thing I'm missing. sticking these power widgets on quickdesk is awesome and i just want to round out my widget pack without paying $1 for a widget that i technically already have but can't use.

I have this on my HTC Legend, but it acts a little weird. The data connection tab only works if the data connection was disabled through SwitchPro.
e.g. I'd have to enable my data connection in the settings and disable it with SwitchPro to be able to enable/disable it with SwitchPro.
Another thing i don't like is that data is automatically enabled when WiFI is disabled. Is there any way around this?

Widget or App for manually syncing everything if you have mobile data turned off ?

Is there an app or widget with which you can manually sync all widgets requiring data connection and email accounts and all other accounts if you have mobile data turned off or not always on data.
UPDATE:
What I'm looking for, I'll try to explain in the following scenario.
1. I have mobile data turned off to save power with the mobile data that came with sense on my HTC Eris.
2. I want to hit this widget, and what it should do is turn on the mobile data long enough to refresh the HTC weather widget, twitter, facebook and other widgets that depend on internet. After that it should turn the mobile data back off.
I use Extended controls. It is basically a modified Power Control Widget that allows you to choose the widget size 1x1, 1x2, 1x3 and 1x4.
The widget bar has 2 color styles, black and white and allows for you to change the transparency of the bar in increments of 10.
Also allows you to choose which controls you wished to have placed on the widget itself
*2g-3g switch
*Data network switch (enable/diable data)
*Wifi
*Bluetooth
*GPS
*Autosync (press once to turn off auto sync and press again and it will turn back on and begin syncing your data. This is what you are asking about in the OP)
*Brightness (have mine set as user selectable when pressed but also an option to have it increase in increments when pressed)
*autorotate
*airplane mode
*media scanner
*silent/vibrate
*timeout (backlight timer)
*torch (use lcd or flash as flashlight)
*silent
*autolock (press disables autolock)
*screen always on*mass storage
*battery
*reboot
there you go. Great Widget. I love it.
Dazzle is a free but slightly less comprehensive version of Extended Controls. For you, OP, it is perfectly suitable as it does have the sync on-off switch option. Just make a 1x1 widget and choose only Sync.
Description:
The ultimate switcher bar for your phone. Choose from 4 widget sizes, and choose which controls it shows: ringer, sync, WiFi, BT, GPS, airplane, or brightness with min/max/preset (and auto toggle on some phones).
Now with both one-touch and popup controls.

that looks like what I need, but I don't think it does what I need to do.

So basically you just need a widget to turn mobile data on/off. You could look into JuiceDefender/UltimateJuice. While it might be an excessively complicated workaround, it does have a widget to turn mobile data on/off (I believe it requires root). The free version has a fixed on/off interval (1 min on for every 15 min off) but I think the pay one (UltimateJuice) will let you do everything manually (for ex, n minutes on for every m minutes off, where n and m are user specified amount of minutes). The free one does have the manual control widget though. I know this sounds complicated, but just try it for yourself lol
Edit: I got it, you can do it completely manually with the free version.
After you initially get it set up, change it to advanced view. Then, disable everything so that every field is grayed and says "Do nothing." Now, the mobile data can be completely controlled by the widget once you add it. The widget is called "Toggle mobile data."
I really think this app is what you're looking for.

Toggle 2G/3G

Is there a 2G/3G toggle widget/app so one doesn't have to navigate through the settings to toggle? I can't seem to find any good ones that work.

Get on CM7 and toggle away!
It doesn't appear to be something you can toggle with a widget on stock roms.
I use Widgetsoid2, which will let you make a widget that brings you straight to the appropriate menu screen. I'm sure other widget apps will let you do that as well. You could also use AnyCut or BetterCut(?) to make your own shortcut/widget to take you there.

Location and Data Widget

Ok, so I've searched and I'm not finding two widgets that I would love to have. The first one would be a widget to toggle on/off the Background Data (enable background data). The second would a widget to toggle on/off Google Location Services.
Because of security and battery life, I prefer to have both of these settings off (for the most part). However, I often require them on and it's such a pain to go through each menu to turn on/off. Why don't these exist (or do they)?
