For anyone who's tried out the dev FroYo ROM, you've probably noticed that the AM/PM in the status bar is smaller than in 2.1, which does actually create some room in the status bar for other icons. Now, obviously this is a pretty small difference but I'm wondering if there are any modders here with smali experience/know-how that would know how to change this? I know myself and I'm sure plenty of others would really appreciate it!

I am only making this thread because alot of people want these two mods and it seems as if not too many people can find these easily.

the status bar link you posted doesnt work very well. for any launcher other than stock unmodified sense (which very few people use), the transparency only works half the time, and it is most often just blackbar. also, the images look all pixelated, something the guy who released those never fixed (but he said he would). but the pulldown transparency works fine. hopefully someone released an updated status bar transcenparency .zip soon

Basically the title says it all. I've flashed CM7, and really liked the aesthetic of it, but it was just a bit too buggy for me. So I'm back at CM6, but I really dislike the white notification bar of CM6, and love the way CM7 looks. Is there anyway to get the same color scheme as 7? I don't necessarily need new icons, but would really like the color scheme to be the same. I've tried changing the notification bar to black... but it's actually a gradient, not a pure black. I'm also not positive of the hex numbers used for the pull down bar, etc. Has anyone themed this up, or knows how to accomplish it? Thanks.

Is there a way to change the status bar to a transparant one without having to flash some kind of tweaks?
I kina like my phone setup as it is right now (VI401 with nova prime) and have a hidden toggle to hide the statusbar on my homescreen.
The bar stay's visible at the lockscreen, whilst the info is verry handy, the black bar covers some of my wallpaper, and i don't like it this way.
Would it be possible to change the PNG file(s) with a transparant one at some location? Where would that/these locations be?
I'n quit new to android, and have no developpers skills. Finding correct dirs and making my own PNG files is no pob for me.

Hi guys.
I am trying to sort out a few issues with my AOKP, The notification bar at the top doest match my hearts requirement for a more green look. I want to change the colour of the carrier name, the date, the bar that seperates the date from the notifications. I also want to change the colour of the signal bars and the little H or what ever type of netowrk im connected too.
I would also like to change the text colour of all items in the settings menus. I know its probably alot of work and will require decompiling the framework_res.apk but im cool with that, I just dont know where I am looking to find the places I need to make my changes.
Let me know.
Maybe there is an app out there for doing this but I have not found it yet.

Hi im just wondering if there would be a way to add apps icons ,like in Windows quicklaunch in the taskbar,since there is so much space in between.or even just icons for recently used apps.or dropdown liek the one in the time,batt status .Ive never liked the multitask..i dont know why..
