App that manages startup items on boot - Hero CDMA Themes and Apps

I am looking for an app that stops whatever apps from loading when I reboot. Autokiller still don't seen to satisfy the limits I set, and I don't need every app I have installed to load on boot. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

+1 for Startup Manager. Only thing I don't like about SM, is that it starts up on boot too. I looked at the commands it was running as SU though, and it made me think that I could just uninstall it and the changes it made would stick. So I just did that

So you uninstalled the original youtube with TB then went to the market and it installed fine? I just tried that and it didnt work.
Running Miui 0.10.15.

OK, just rebooted and now I'm up and running

don't really need a revamp, just feature additions...the homepage of the facebook app (I think) is sexy.
New app looks great here.
Regarding the facebook app... who even uses it for anything other than updating? Every time you try to do anything it just opens the browser.

Oh, wow, if this is a prelude to what we can expect in Gingerbread, sign me right up. And not just a pretty face but with added functionality! There's something awfully cool about the video playing right away, and flipping it into landscape for full screen. No performance lag, either.
It doesn't have "Most..." tabs anymore, though, not that I ever gave a **** about those.
How do I comment on a video?

1st Of All Thank You For All Your Appreciation Man!!
2nd Of All... It Didn't Install? That Sux!! I'll Try My Best To Hopefully Get It Installed For You!!
Do You Have...
Root Explorer? If So, Try To Change The Permissions On The
Blue XDA App... If Your Unsure As To What To Change Them To, Go To A App That You Have Successfully Installed & Just Click It!
You Should Then See Options To Install, View, & Whatever Else??
From There Click View, Then Permissions, Then Try To Remember All The Boxes Checked, & Try To Do The Same Check/Uncheck Boxes Until Every Box Is The Same As The Successfully Installed Apps!!
Then Try To Install.... It Still Might Say Unsuccessful, If It Does, Try The Rom Manager Selection To Fix Permissions!!
Next Try Rebooting & See If It Installed Successfully In Your App Drawer!!
Hopefully This Helps...Good-Luck!!!

How to uninstall DSPManager

well as the title says, i have been disappointed with the volume of the Nexus s and i was pointed towards this app.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.TEST.android.lvh&feature=search_result
WOW. If you guys suffered the same as me, 99p well spent right there!
Now i dont need DSPManager though.... So how do i uninstall it?
Thanks
You can do it in Titanium Backup, pretty sure there are no ill effects, I used the Freeze option to remove it from my Nexus.

Hmm im relucntant to use Titanium, i remember cyanogen himself saying it was bad :/ Maybe im just paranoid
I guess you could use Modaco's Eezy Freezy, but I've not used that myself.
You can use root explorer and just delete the apk file. Think that's the best way if you don't want to use any other Apps to delete it. You can also use ADB to uninstall it.

i also removed the DSP with Titanium, it working fine,no problems so far after 1 month

If the dsp came with the rom and it's uninstallable through android's built in app manager then you can delete it in
/system/app
That's where all the system apps are. Make sure you mount /system first so you can delete an apk.

thanks i try it on my phone now it killed both speaker and headset bass asnt editable...
found this thread very helpful. I am running Beanstalk on my nexus 5 and was having issues with DSP manager. Any time I wanted to listen to music from my Google Music account I would get a "DSP manager stopped working" pop up ... and even if you hit OK it keeps popping for every song.
Here is how I fixed it.... used Tweaker 2 to uninstall DSP manager and downloaded an Equalizer from the play store. Works like a charm now. Thanks XDA community ... saved the day again:good:

[FIX] This fixes the Market running stock or a custom rom

I thought I would post this to make it easier to find as it was buried in the gummy charge thread.
Basically, after you get up and running with gummy charge 1.5 or other roms, you may notice the market will be missing apps and you will have a problem downloading a few too. To check to see if your market is working correctly do a search for MLB at bat... if you can't see those apps then you need this fix. The fix is listed below. The fix edits a few lines of code in your build.prop file which gives you all apps in the market no matter what rom you are using. Its completely harmless and will fix issues you are having
1. Download fix.apk from the URL below
2. Install the fix.apk
3. Go into your app drawer and find the app called 'market fixer' and open it. Then select fix.
4. Approve root request
5. Reboot within the market fix app
You should now have all apps in the market and your market downloads should work

Find it here. I can now download mlb at bat 2011 thank goodness.

My fingerprint now shows "shadow" in it. Whatever, it works for me. Hopefully nothing else is screwed up.
THANK YOU! This was one of the main things bugging me about this phone, just got it a couple days ago
You, sir, are awesome. Thanks much!
Cool, same problem with EE4 debloated. This fixed me right up. I found if completely stock EE4 has the same problem?

I am running Debloated v4.2.1. I installed fix.apk, and then rebooted.
If "MLB at Bat" is supposed to indicate that my Market is fixed, I'm not "fixed" yet.

It sounds like you may not have followed my instructions in the original post.
You must install the fix. Apk
You must then immediately find the app in your app drawer called market fixer and open it
You must choose the fix button then accept root request
Then you must reboot within the market fix app

Your day will get better after using this fix. Download fix.apk and install it. Then go into your app drawer and locate an app named market fixer. Open it up and accept root request. Hit the fix market and then reboot. When it comes back up you should receive all market apps for every phone.
