Nah
I think it would be a very unpopular software title. What is the point? You recieve an SMS and read the SMS when you actually noticed you recieved it. A phone call is real time. It is much more thoughtful to have it in the way of a phone call. Ask the Caller2Picture creators if they have plans on doing it. I doubt they will.

SMS Reply - Include Message Body

I noticed that even when I have the "When replying, include body" option ticked in the messaging options, it wont include the body of an original messgae when replying to any messgae in my SMS/Text Messages inbox. It works well with my other messaging (email) accounts, and even when replying to Sent Items messages in my Text Messages account (of course, it doesn't make sense to reply to your own mesage) but always does not include the original message's body when replying to a message in my Text Messages inbox.
Anybody knows how I could get this to work?
Thanks.

Good AIM program that uses SMS?

Hey guys, I am looking for a good AIM program that uses SMS and not data. Free would be awesome too if possible. Thanks guys.
I tried OZ Messenger but for some reason it won't intercept the incoming text message saying that it signed on. Like it will send the text message to the user and not the program, so the program does not acknowledge that it has signed onto AIM through SMS.
Isn't this how AIM Mobile works?

Check out IM Forwarding and IM to Mobile options. Both of these use SMS messages. AIM Express uses a net connection (so thats not what you are wanting).
A number of people I work with (with basic phones) use IM Forwarding and IM to Mobile and they receive and send messages to AIM contacts via SMS.
There may be better solutions, but I do know these work.

I use IM FORWARDING, I wish there was a program that you could just save your buddylist to and send text to their screen name.
There's a certain format you can type to send from your phone to a screen name.
http://www.aim.com/wireless/pdfs/vzw/AIM_SMS_UG_freeup.pdf
here's a good read.
Just create a new contact with their name and their IM under the IM category. It will send the message to their IM address but you won't be able to tell if they're online.
to sign on
send a text message to number 4646 - in your text message type SCREENAME(space)PASSWORD example bobster PaS$W0rd111
to sign off
send a blank text message to number 4647 to sign off
get you buddy list
send a text message to 4650 - in your text message type list
to get the number associated with the buddy
send a text to 4653 - in your text message type help
beware - it sends a list of 7 buddies per text. So if you have 140 screen names on your list, expect 20 text messages.
to send a instant message to someone from your buddylist
send a text to the number associated with their number
to send a instant message to an unlisted screen name
send a text message to 4654 - in your text message type SCREENAME: (space) message example bobster: hello

The Mobile Secretary

Hello,
I am currently using the Mobile Secretary as my program to auto-respond to missed calls. As viewed here:
http://blogs.msdn.com/windowsmobile/...secretary.aspx
As you can tell it is quite outdated and need something a few more features. (excluding international texts being the primary concern)
Can anyone recommend any applications?
Also I think it's worth mentioning I have a Samsung Ace i325 with windows mobile 6 standard.
OK, the source is available, so you're on. Be specific about what you'd like to have changed.

The most important feature I need is the ability to:
-exclude international callers. (and SMS if that feature is added)
-ability to automatically reply to SMS/text as well.
Some features that would be a bonus: (in order of importance)
-Ability to have 6 saved messages I can switch between
-Number of rings before the phone auto hangs up
-Max number of SMS that can be sent to one person
-Log of amount of SMS sent per session
-Log of phone numbers that SMS were sent
If I can get a program like this working on my current phone I will definitely pay for it.
When you say "exclude international callers", you mean don't automatically send back the SMS when you miss a call from an international caller? Why don't you just leave international callers out of the group?
As for automatically replying to SMS, how would you like the reply to be handled? Would you put a message in for each group, and SMS from people in that group would get that group's reply?

Why don't you just leave international callers out of the group?
I only really need the "Default" and "Unknown Caller" groups with both sending the same message. I don't plan on using the groups to send specific messages to certain people. I want to send the same SMS to all missed calls. Unless I am missing something but I don't see how to filter out all Int Calls?

That would be a nice feature, but all since I am only using two groups with the same message, it probably isn't necessary. I just need it to auto-reply one SMS to all received SMS.
If all you're looking for is a quick little app to auto-SMS any missed calls (excluding international calls) with the same message, that'd be really quick to whip up.

As long as it doesn't attempt to send SMS to numbers that come up as "Blocked ID" (could cause errors) ...then even what your suggesting would be improvement.
That plus auto-SMS to all texts would be great.
I would also need a manual filter for a few numbers that I know don't want any SMS sent. (paycard numbers in particular)
(I currently use a "third group" on mobile secretary to "filter" out those auto-SMS, forgot to mention that earlier)
I definitely don't need an intricate program =)

How can find incoming SMS messages ?

I can't figure out what must be done to find an read incoming sms messages.
There's definitely more to this post I'm hoping... Are you missing the SMS app? Did you delete the SMS service center number?
Please provide more information.
