Notification Menu Power Control Widgets for Sense - 3.70 OTA (How to Change them)
By creating a pipe delimited list (|) of widgets in a one-line text file named widget.txt, and dropping this file into the '/system/customize/' folder on your phone.
So, say you want your power control bar to contain 4 widgets for 4G, Wifi, Bluetooth, and Sync. You would create a one-line file using the following syntax:
Code:
toggleWimax|toggleWifi|toggleBluetooth|toggleSync
Note: there CANNOT be any spaces between each widget defined, and the pipe delimiter is only placed between each instance, but not at the beginning or end. The syntax has to be EXACT, and case must match EXACTLY. If you have an error in your list, the slot / position where the error exists will result in an empty slot on your power control bar. If you fubar it bad enough, you'll probably bootloop your phone, so please use caution and check your work.
Once you've created your file, again, named widget.txt, all lower-case, using adb, push to your phone (the following commands assume your widget.txt file is in the same folder where you are issuing the adb commands):
Code:
adb remountadb push widget.txt /system/customize/adb reboot
For your reference, when creating your 'widget.txt' file, here is the complete list of available widgets with correct syntax that you can copy / paste into your file (don't forget to pipe delimit them):
Code:
toggleWimax
toggleAirplane
toggleAutoRotate
toggleBluetooth
toggleBrightness
toggleFlashlight
toggleGPS
toggleLockScreen
toggleMobileData
toggleScreenTimeout
toggleSleepMode
toggleSound
toggleSync
toggleWifi
Thanks goes to JsChiSurf for this mod

Everything Works, I can't test 4g but it is based off a stock ROM. I have 345mb free after installing all my apps (and I have alot of aps) with a2sd running. Seems very stable no force closes, and seems fast with stock kernel (which I am going to change) I mainly Mashed my theme in a stock rom and changed rosie with drop down widgets, different fonts. Nothing super special just wanted to share. Plus I'm in the learning Stages. Once I get a better grip on Java I hope to do big things.
Runs great ith BcBlend Kernel
New Version Uploading Now!! 12/09/10 @ 10:45pm

Works exactly as described, thanks for updating it.
Great work, thanks for updating! This will really come in handy.
Reporting In... I'm the one who voted +1 through disqus @AP when artem asking jazz ruby for this neat app...
Had been using ApkSpy for months, though it was out-dated and little buggy..
Some suggestion for the app:-
> It would be more feasible to use drag and drop instead of dialog to load apk.
> Add support %pattern% renaming for apk.
Thanks jazz..
great work
very helpful tool thanks
Great update, thanx
Awesome app, but I have a request
Is it possible to have APK-Info as a shell extention for apk files?
I mean have a tab with all the informations about the apk on right-click properties menu of every .apk file
Thanks a lot.
anyone there?

not the op of this but i am gonna look in to this when i get some time.
thanks for updating!
Hey guys, sorry I've been 'missing' from this thread and thanks for the replies.
To be clear, my original intentions regarding APK-Info was only to bring it up to date, i.e. SDK/API levels, GUI usability mods and strings, etc...
To be honest, APK-Info could use some further development and I might continue with that (but no guarantee).
Anyway, I will continue to update to newer SDK/API levels, OS versions, etc...
With that said, I've updated APK-Info to include the latest:
API level 18
Android 4.3
Jelly Bean MR2

yes, no time to look in to this yet although couldn't u just set all .apk files to open with this, wouldn't that work the same?
or you want it in the normal properties window?

yes, it works and it's the workaroud I'm using right now...
I just find the "tab in properties window" more... elegant
Moreover it would be useful to have an installer for apk-info to properly set to open all apk files with the app during installation
I can replace APK-Spy!
Love updates, cant wait to see what this brings me over the previous long in the tooth solution! (issues with Win8 and 8.1 else it was fantastic)
EDIT: after a few days with this... I am happy... FAN-FU*[email protected]#% TASTIC!
Thanks alot works fine.
But can you please make the apk files drag and drop? also the apk file screen icon cannot fit the area for the application screen
thanks alot
Great application, I needed it from long time. Thanks
very much needed tool. works wonderful!
exactly what I want to see, thanks a lot!

My device is not in the list. What should I do to use this tool?
- Just extract any working zip for your device and extract update-binary from zip's META-INF/google/android folder and import that binary in the tool, make a zip and try flashing it to your device. If the ZIP install is successful, then share update-binary by replying to this thread. Your device will get added to supported devices' list.
Can I include application data along with APKs into the flashable zip?
- No, atleast for now. Data restore facility is yet to be added, but it is planned.
I want to go back to recovery from Aroma UI, but there is no back button. What should I do?
- Just don't select any item in Aroma and keep pressing next until you end up in recovery. Don't worry, if you have selected nothing, then nothing will get flashed, chill.

Well...if you ask....here is a list for possible features/changes:
1- Save Project button. (cuz I just try to make an aroma zip for n7100 and the process stop at 90% and I have to force close the program...so I lost all the things I made).
2- If there is a way...maybe you can add themes for aroma.
3- Individual install path for the apps in the same category. (e.g. in launchers category I have googlehome and nova...and I want to install googlehome in system and nova in data...to do that I need to make separate categorys?).
4- If is posible...add a preview for aroma menu. (I know maybe this is to much...but it would be nice to have something like that).
5- The hability to choose what acction come first...e.g. Remove apps first and then install apps...so I can remove all the things I want and then install the apps...(some times I want to delete from system some app...like g+ and install it as regular app...so if I need to delete it I can do it like a normal app).
6- Select custom splash image for aroma.
7- The hability to re arrange and edit names of the categorys and the apps....and for the apps a description for aroma would be great.
I know maybe ask for all of this its to much...and I dont know if some of this are possible to do features.
Thanks for make this program...

Well, first of all many thanks for your suggestions.
And among the features that you suggested, feature number 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 are very much possible and we'll consider adding it to our next release.
For feature no. 4, well, all I can say is that give me some designer and I can do that. First part of 7th point is possible and we'll consider adding it but I can't get what you are trying to convey in the latter part of 7th point. May you describe it a little bit more?

Yes, Planned. It will take time but eventually it will be implemented.
I will share a test zip soon. Confirm if it is working. If it does, device will be in the list.
This is amazing, I was just thinking about a solution to this exact scenario. I can test on note 3 (hltetmo) if needed.

Change File Permission now take the first position, please let us make it happen.
As FTP support, I may add it in coming feature poll.
File Permission my number 1
I voted. What good is a root explorer if it can't mount the system partition as R/W? I see many who have already voted for permissions changes, but even then, you wouldn't be able to change permissions on any system file if you can't write to it.

Many thanks for your vote and idea.
I will ask my team to see if we could work the two out together.

►►WiFi Password Viewer (Root, free and no ads)◄◄
►Introduction◄
First I was looking for a wifi password tool that I can check my WiFi passwords even before I did a full wipe.
Then I was pissed of from all the ads and apps that don't support Oreo (I like Oreo, because 100g Nougat is more expensive than 100g Oreo ).
Last but not least I decided to write a complete free ($$$ / ads) wifi password viewer and share it with you.
►How it works◄
File location Oreo: /data/misc/wifi/WifiConfigStore.xml
File location < Oreo: /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf
WiFi Passwords Viewer is looking for the WiFi Config file in your system.
This file will be copied and read to / from your internal memory.
When your device has read that file it will be deleted immediately and the wifi information are displayed in the apps listview.
There is no internet permission needed for your security (you can share the wifi informations by mail, whatsapp or whatever with the share button)

Thanks for your message.
Then everything is fine
Hi there! Great initiative, thanks for the hard work.
I was looking for the same thing and if not found I was about to do it myself. Do you need an extra hand? Are you planing to release the source code?
Hi there again! I found another one and it's open source.
It's called WiFiKeyShare and it's available in Google Play Store, F-Droid and the code it's in GitHub. You could try to merge both proyects.

Good morning
I am not planning to release the sourcecode.
You can easily extract the code from the .apk file and modify it if you want to.
Best regards
