[Boot Animation]Seizuredroid!

This is my first boot animation, and first ever contribution. This animation is for all HVGA devices (such as the Hero)
Here's a .gif of it, except the color slides at the end loop until your device boots.

Thanks to everyone in #mytouchslide for putting up with my complaints about getting this thing to work, and thanks to Six6Sicks for fixing it for me.

I saw the on the Desire HD section, have no x10 to try since mine has died, it should work.
I cut out the samsung ad at the end of the bootanimation

edit: just noticed I posted the splash screen as well on the drift one by accident, its now removed, if anyone have downloaded that, don't use it, its for HTC, I don't think the splash can be flash yet on SE devices.

Love it , can this be flashed like a normal zip package via recovery ?

Nice , if you could have the lighting actually burn the words Cyanogen 7 in the background then just electrify it ... would be even more impressive

Hello,
Here's a new boot animation, essentially a cross between the Nexus S and the SGSII boots.
Nothing hugely elaborate, but I was pleased with the end result.

It's 480x800 192 DPI

Is dithering a matter of compression, or simply its a fixed-colors indexed format like gif?

The preview has dithering because its an animated GIF.

[Q] Google Splash and Boot Screen?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had a flashable zip for the sensation that replaced the original HTC splash screen. Also, if you has the 'Google Gears' bootscreen, If you don't would you be able to make one? thanks in advance... posting pics below.

Google Bootscreen

You can easily make the splash screen using the image you already have. And it doesn't need to be flashed using a .zip in bootloader. It can be done right from Terminal Emulator.

As for the google gears, I'm pretty sure it's available. Look in the Development forum and search for a boot animation thread. Search that thread for the animation you are looking for.

you can use bootflash pro 3 apk to make any boot flash screen

Boot animtaions are pretty non toxic. You can try one designed for another device and depending on how the horizontal width is set up on the animation files, it might work fine for the Sensation. So if you can find it elsewhere and not specifically formatted for a 960 bz 540 screen, you might get lucky.
Worst case for the animation is that you put one on that doesn't work and you'll just see the stock ANDROID animation. You won't hurt the phone or anything.
