why dont update to 4.2.15.1??
anyway, u can find it in almost every themed rom.. download a rom u like and then extract adw launcher (launcher.apk or advancedLauncher.apk), then replace your with this one.
if u dont want have trouble, replace it using the update.zip method!! (u have need to sign the package so take a look on how to sign )
oh well thanks broski. i just updated to 5.0.7. Its way better.
oh yeah and i am a noob

Agreed! 5.0.7 test 5 is AMAAAAAZING!!! android 2.1 plus all the bells and whistles, google addons work, so far i havent found a SINGLE flaw that effects my every day heavy use of my Mytouch 3G 1.2 (rooted with Cyanogen 5.0.7 Test 5)
The theme is pretty awsome, plus the slide lock screen ROCKS!

ADW download
Hope this doesnt upset anyone but you can find the ADW download here Kaboom. SDX-Developers forum. Themes. Files. Ive been running it on my moment (rooted w/ caulkin's moment 2.1 v1.4 rom) and it hasnt given me any problems. Hope this helps and again, hope that doesnt disturb anyone. Just trying to help.
For those of you not using Cyanogen (how many of you are there, like, 10? ) this is the pretty cool bootscreen that comes with it if you want to use it. Let me know if there are any questions or concerns on how to get it up and running.
When I tried cm6 and saw this bootscreen I was very disappointed when I couldn't get mms to work for my carrier and had to go back to a sense Rom. This animation is awesome and thank you very much for sharing it as a stand alone zip.

All you have to do is find the bootscreen and then apply it. Any bootscreen will work as they are not rom specific.

Dunno if theme injector works for aospCMod(atleast not for some builds). You would think he would try it out to see if it worked before posting?!?!

Guilty I guess... this one I flashed made sure it booted and immediately rebooted to recovery and nand back to my normal rom... the black alien I ported I checked and I guess I got a little confident and assumed the miui ported with the same success.... (ported black alien before i ported miui)my apologies for any problems I caused.....guess lesson learned. Am going to try to port again and resize the. Pngs then ill check and if proper I'll post if not will be deleting this post.

Are there any apks pulled from the nexus s dump or anything like that of the lock screen and lock screen clock font that would work on the x10? I would really like my x10 lock screen to look like the attached file
i'm running a de-branded x10a updated with stock 2.1
rooted, JIT compiled and junk apps removed
any suggestions would be awesome!
I posted over in Q&A but seeing as it's already had 50 views and no replies I assume I was in the wrong forum...
there is some apps in the market and they give you an option for different lock screens but I've a feeling they're not too good, but I might be wrong!
the only way I can think of is to use the freex10 beta4 rom which is froyo!

thx so much
There is an app on the marketplace that allows you to change your lockscreen to loads of different ones the only problem ive had was it would sometimes bring up the normal lockscreen aswell as the one on the app :S

I want a theme for Gingerbread too, but no one =(
Anybody knows if we can use other CyanogenMOD themes (CM6) from oters phone?
So this seems to be the standard of all standard mods for Sense 3 so I thought I'd port it first and post it for everyone to use.
Requirements
rooted
using a DEODEXED ROM
must know how to use ADB or have CWM installed
I used Paul's deodexed stock ROM to build this from.
Had my buddy jface test it out and it seems to be working, here's a screenie he sent me back
Installation
You can either flash the attached zip (untested, someone test it for me!), or push the attached SystemUI.apk to /system/app/SystemUI.apk.
MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP! Just do it. Always. It's so much easier than having to recover from a bad flash or something.
good look bro you beat me to it hahaha thanks man!!
Nice. Trying this out now. Now I can get rid of my profile widget lol.

awesome mod! thanks a lot
Thank you! Work's great!
Lily.
can this be merged with UOT? that mod themes the battery and also patches SystemUI.apk.
So only 1 sticks .
The flashable zip does not work for me.
CRT ON/OFF HERE
Has anyone tested to see if this works on Sense 2.1 Gingerbread ROMS?
Sadly I'm still rocking an HTC HD2 and I'm running 2.3.3 with Sense 2.1.
I don't mind being a guinea pig after a nandroid backup but I just figured I'd ask if anyone tried it yet first.
It won't work. You will get a systemui fatal error and a force close loop.

Good to know. Does anyone here in this thread know how I can apply these same changes to my current systemui.apk?
I really like the Extended QuickSettings but I'm not too interested in running a Sense 3.0 ROM on a less than capable device like the HD2.

From the code I've looked at on Sense 3 ROMs, they typically define whether something is Sense 3 or 2 compatible. So in a real-world example when you're looking at Rosie it has two completely different implementations between 2.1 and 3 and they're both there in the code base. There was no such distinction with quick settings
Dumb ranting aside, I don't see a reason why it won't work on a Sense 2.1 device running Gingerbread. Shoot me over your SystemUI.apk and I might be able to port it. No promises, blind developing sucks

Never asked for a promise. The fact that you're willing to give it a shot, even though you don't have the same device as me is MORE than enough for me.
Here's my SystemUI.apk. Just did a nandroid backup so I'm more than happy to go flash happy right about now lol.

When you do the copy and paste method you must change the permissions. Flashing is much easier.

So, I think it IS possible, but it would take quite some time to go through and merge all the changes and match up all the IDs. I don't have the time or patience to do this as it takes a long time to communicate back and fourth for one single change, or error, etc etc.
Maybe an experienced smali hacker from the HD2 can port it over?
Sorry man

No worries. Like I said, I thought it was cool and figured it would be nice to have. I never expected you to spend a ton of time porting it over. Figured if the current one worked for Sense 2.1 then I'd try it. If not, maybe some other time. The fact that you even took a look at it was good enough for me.
Thanks again man.
