nice ROM. very stable and fast, indeed. I like the new dialpad. I wish it comes in different colors, though. WiFi is a bit slow too. Sometimes it needs to be reset to connect. Otherwise, a gr8 ROM. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
indeed very fast and stable rom.
and I really love the dialer !

try not to be a jackass and post something as pointless as this. Here is something for you to read and increase your intelligence quotient before you mouth off something and show you have a 10 year old brain powering your head.

On a different note, i have been using this rom for a while now and i find it pretty sluggish. Cant wait for the the touch pro to hit retail.....cheers all...
Is it possible to access WPA2 AES encrypted wireless network with this ROM? Or some patch may be... ?
Can anyone pls upload another link beside this coz sometimes it can download or not. looking forward to get this app.
Thanks,
Kent

I am trying to compile a fully working kernel for the new sense ROM, and for some reason I cannot get the Bluetooth working - it doesn't even want to turn on. The problem seams to be related to the source. The source that I am using is Google's 2.6.27 source. If I try to use cyanogen's source, the display does not function. Any ideas?
I just used the official HTC source and everything is working now.
I'm following you on Twitter and after reading this topic the question is automatic: when do you guess to release your new rom? Is going to be for 32A o 32B?
Thanks

GPS is working with the HTC kernel, as he said above.
Some people have mentioned on other ROMs that the WiFi tethering doesnt work. Have you tested that yet hotweiss?
Also, will wipe be required for v2 to v3?

The WiFi should be working, as I have successfully compiled it.
I don't know whether we'll need a wipe or not yet. I have been testing after always doing a wipe just so I don't have any confounding issues.
What about word prediction? Flash in browser seems different, couldn't play videos straight from youtube site when using redglass version of sense ROM. None the less, good job and thank you in advance. Like the.fact that your taking your time to test and release something decent. Nice.
I'm most concerned with the sms timestamp issue. There are a bunch of Hero/Sense roms that work great, but that timestamp issue is a dealbreaker every time.

The timestamp issue still exists. I would use Chomp SMS until the Rogers verion comes out.

While it is certainly a nuisance to us Rogers Magic users, the sms timestamp issue is a small price to pay for a stable SenseUI IMO. This will be my first SenseUI ROM other than MyHero, I'm looking forward to trying it out! Take your time hotweiss, it's better to release a ROM that has most of its kinks worked out rather than rushing and having to constantly re-patch.
If everything is working... If is multilanguage (I really want spanish on it) and if it has predictive dictionary... Then I will definetly download your rom ...
Thanks in advance for everything... =D
I'm waiting anxiously for your "creation". I still have stock rom, bought my Magic 32A almost 3 months ago, but was waiting for the right moment to install a custom rom, wich I think is now Multilanguage for me is also a must, so don't forget the portuguese guys, please. Anyway, thank you very much for your efforts. Best regards.

Thanks to Aqtrans http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=688880 for his build : wifi working but I don't have more time to test the other functions...
I use the latest DZO kernell http://it029000.massey.ac.nz/vogue/files/?C=M;O=D or the modify file by Kallt_kaffe http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=660158 with the the Loserskater NBH editor http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=689812 for choice the good panel for our phone
I will try more tonight
what is fully good in this build :
- phone of course...
- battery indicator : I used my phone with 12% and it works yet !! I will test in charge
- Wifi
- BT (not tested with audio car)
- MMS : you can receive and send
- GPS with Igo (not yet for a long time)
- synchronize data
- market (I think full but I'm not sure)
- Rogue tools (just for density, I use 107)
- live wallpapers
And I hope in V1.3 better speed for incoming...
THANKS for them !!
Hope it works for all of Polaris users.
Cheers.

better, much better...
No update : works very fine and faster
I tested more and it works perfectly except what we know of eclair build (BT audio...).
GPS is good also with IGO.
Sometimes I loose the network and sometimes in the end of communication, it freeze between a few seconds and after it's ok
Cheers.

this one is impressive and a real gap jump in polaris android support
try it and you'll understand
This is starting to make me happy
Exchange mail + contacts working
after installing CorpCal.apk also exchange calendar working
can connect with carkit
wifi working
Will now try to install navigation software and see how that is working
Question:
what is the best resolution to use 240x320 or 320x480 (I've a polaris 100)
And what radio to use? I'm now using 1.59.44.02
I think better is 240*320 because you have the best light for the screen
And with Rogue you can set the density what you like (107 is good)...
Cheers.

yeah and it's smooth and beautifull
battery life and gps is also greater with very latest dzo's (48 hours at first rom attempt)
we got the rom #1
i've heard people still playing with their donut today
better than the warm donut?
incubus was better for me than myn's donut, but had some little beta cyanogen issues
aqtrans' rom is better and faster than incubus' and battery life is very good despite of little stock overcloaking (450 mhtz)
for my use anyhow (apn,3G,gps)
For 240/320 120 density, eclair is 10 time better than donut for lisibility, especialy with "dialer one" apk
And i can't bare using another density
beginning from today, using donut is a little mistake
time will tell
it gonna be a blood bath

Sinon elle est parfaite...
hi all,
i found this rom in the mytouch 3G section and want to post it here because i can run it on my 32B so maybe this is working on g1 as they got the same hardware!!
What is working ?
- WiFi + Kernel 2.6.32 up and running.
- 3D Drivers
- JIT + JIT JSC enabled
- Multi-touch zoom on browser
What isnt working yet ?
- No boot animation, screen stays blank while booting but you can check it out using "adb logcat"
- Camera
- Gallery has missing mdpi graphics, I'll fix it later
The topic is here + the download!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=704561
EDIT:
another build founded that is a little faster and got Gapps in it!
http://drop.io/jypeeov
I hope you guys got fun with it!!
and watch out !! its REALLY fast!
//Nick
OK, I'll be the guinea pig on that one
First impression: There IS a bootanimation... Fast boot, first boot took about as long as booting cm5.08 (at least it felt like that, no stop watch involved here).
- Wifi and BT Fail to load.
- IME defaults to some chinese
- feels rather zippy, never saw a rom change orientation so fast.
- sms and calls work (incoming call not tested yet)
- browser feels a good deal faster, 3G working, don't know if it uses hspa
- motion sensors don't seem to work for orientation switching (open keyboard does)
- linpack @ 3.7MFLOPS
- bootloops for me with cyanogens gapps...

If you'll notice, the Jubeh build required a lot of tweaks for a 32B Magic to work with it
I tried this http://drop.io/jypeeov and GPS does work but i am not sure if it is faster, JIT enabled?
Yeah, it does not seem to be fully functional on g1, but differences to htc magic are small. And, as this is build from AOSP source it might be easy to get it fully working. (OK, that might be unessecary with cm6 in the pipe... first test realeases are announced for this weekend )

Just wait for CM6 Test releases.....it'll be worth the wait.
Here is a build of CM6 with FM added to it. The only difference is the FM addon. It is the same as the last version of CM6 released.
Install the same way you would cm6. You can upgrade to this with wiping data/cache like normal.

It doesnt actually use bluetooth. Its just that the chipset that does the bluetooth is the same chipset that does the fm radio. So what its doing is enabling the chipset which means bluetooth gets turned on. But the bluetooth signal doesnt actually have anything to do with the fm radio. This is why you have to have a headset plugged in; the phone uses it as an fm antenna.

The CM series (CyanogendMod) does not have HTC Sense. It is built from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source.
Yes it is de-oxded.
Yes it supports both Froyo Apps2SD and DT Apps2SD (EXT2/EXT3 support).
