im with you mate. This phone needs to come to Europe. I was already disappointed when i heard the EVO wasnt coming this side, but i sure hope this does. What do you make of the chance it would come here?
Because the Motorola Droid was also first only Verizon if I am right... But now, it is or it was the most wanted Android phone in Europe... I think, Motorola wouldn't miss the chance to bring it to us and make much money..
i was doing some research and apparently the original Droid was released at the beginning of November last year, and the Milestone which is the european variant was released a month later to UK/Europe.
I hope thats the case with this phone
Oh yes I also hope so!! Would be really nice If yes, then bye HD2 dont like it... 2-5 hangs just over 1 day, thats really not cool!
The phone looks awfully big. I think the EVO is the biggest I'd go.

I have flashed it ect, great phone but looking for somthing newer.

why would you get anything else? Especially, if you have hundreds of developers that work in harmony and thousands of users willing to assist. Unless you do not enjoy spending countless hours modifying your device to meet your preferences. Touch Pro 2 should be coming out in mid April, which looks very intriguing. However, I do not think I would be ready to unleash my kaiser until it passes away.
But then again it is all personal preference. Hopefully your parents or anyone else in your life do not dictate how you should live it. It is your choice and there is not really a reasonable purpose for this thread.

Firstly people knew this since yesterday notice a couple of rom threads are called 2.1 and secondly no this won't helpto get the camera working as its htc that has the 2.1 drivers. If carlsberg made a useless post, this would be the best useless post in the world

WOW, awesome orb, great find!
The things I find most interesting on there are the fact that the Hengshan is WM6.5, and the note says "Huashan OS change to WM to be confirmed"!! Looks like HTC isn't giving up on good ol WM just yet
Yeah that is something to follow up...
I think HTC has to come with their own OS, same as iphone, same manufacturer builds devices and OS, that way we users will enjoy from better and faster OS!!

The Huashan looks interesting, but I hope they stick to Android and don't make the same mistake they did with the HD2. Gonna be an interesting Fall this year.

I think that would be fantastic, both have relatively quick development cycles. Unfortunately for HTC, they seem to lack terrestrial north american facilities to mass produce great phones for the US market where they could be a very strong competitor.
I'm looking to buy one tomorrow but I'd like to know if the updates are coming straight from Google or from Motorola?
I dont want to have the same frustrating experience as with my Milestone so this is definitely a deal breaker for me.
I searched on google and all I found were old january posts speculating about this subject.

It is absolutely a Google Experience tablet. It is the device which Android developers are developing the platform on. The update 3.1 was released by Google today and I'm already running it on my WiFi Xoom.

Yeah it's the honeycomb tester.. can't get much more google xp than that.
and theres definitely no moto bloat to worry about
US version ONLY. Non-US version will be different story.at least for UK version, They have different firmware and even have some kind of MotoBulr service on it.Also the Android Build number look like totally differnet than vanilla HC.
Recently I heard that Nokia is coming with an android phone called Nokia N1. I like hardware of Nokia but not the OS that much. So that would be a good news for me and man others like me. Do you guys have any idea about it. Or it's just fake?
I know I should've asked in a forum where people talks Nokia, but as long as it is related to Android I preferred asking here.
I also learned it will be running on android 4.0 and will look something like Lumia 800.

i think itz fake as der is no official confirmation from nokia
It was a design for a concept phone last year - it's not a real phone and it's very unlikely you'll see Android officially on a Nokia device for quite some time, if ever.
