Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone had any luck remapping the hardware buttons. I'd like the follow sort of layout:
Home > Home
Long Home > Google Now
Menu > Recents
Long Menu > Menu
I can't see a way to change the long press functionality in the key file. Has anyone had any luck there?
I'm on SlimSaber 5.02 so I can't run the exposed stuff.
Thanks!
E
Please can someone help me figure out how to get rid of that annoying popup screen that lets you know you are raising your own volume too high without rooting. Everytime i use headphones and go to raise the volume it has an annoying popup that i have to click okay on in order to raise the volume.

Just go to settings -> Sound and Vibration -> Volume -> hit the 3 dot menu -> Media Volume Limiter -> turn on and set custom limit to Max.
It annoys the heck out of me

It seems Exynos edition don't have such setting.

Does the tasker trick work on the Exynos version?

Make sure you open AutoTools once so it kicks off the free trial or it won't work.
who made this annoyance should be warned each time he picks fork or knife - "be careful, you can harm yourself".
Currently, it takes 5 clicks to do that: Click home button > Settings > Connections > Bluetooth > Toggle. I'm just wondering if there's a way to shorten that.
you can write an application that pops up the bluetooth on/off application.
then set the double-click home button to run your application.
When I first got the magic UI 2.1 update I looked everywhere to find out how to enable this feature as it was a feature I was really looking for. But couldn't find it until today. It's really easy to enable.
Go to settings -> search and click on motion control -> click on hivoice -> enable it.
Here's how
Open Settings, go to Smart assistance > Shortcuts & gestures > Google Assistant, and enable Wake with Power button. Note: You can still power off your phone by pressing and holding the Power button for 3 seconds.
