Ok so i been looking around a way to watch the world cup on my tmobile cliq for a while. and i came across with a way to watch it on my phone (WHICH DOESNT REQUIRED TO HAVE FLASH)
SO THIS SHOULD WORK WITH ANY ANDROID PHONE THAT DOESNT HAVE FLASH.
THE ONLY ONE PROBLEM IS THAT THE WEBSITE THAT STREAMING THE GAME ONLINE IS ONLY IN SPANISH****Srry but theres no other place that i have try that would work on the phone without flash.
for the best performance please connect your phone on the best data connection...which is (3G) so the stream will go smoothly without any stops.
ok now just follow the steps below AND ENJOY
Step #1
Download Skyfire on the android market. (Or with the Apk Link below)

Step #2
After Downloading Skyfire Open the app and just follow the steps it requires when you first open Skyfire, Ok after evrything is loaded type in your address bar on top with the following link futbol.univision.com/fifacopamundial/partidos-en-vivo
(MAKE SURE YOU TYPE IT RIGHT OR IT WONT WORK)
Step #3
after the page is loaded you should see a pop out in your left corner of a video just as the picture below
CLICK ON THE VIDEO AND LET IT LOAD....IS SHOULD TAKE A COUPLE OF SECONDS TO LOAD BASED ON YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION...SO IF UR NOT CONNECT ON 3G IS GOING TO TAKE A LITTLE BIT OF TIME TO LOAD.
*******AFTER THAT THE VIDEO SHOULD LOAD PERFECTLY AND ENJOY ....
***EVEN THOUGH IS IN SPANISH, U GET TO WATCH IT LIVE ****
Alternatively just go to m.tvcatchup.com where you can watch the BBC and ITV live (including their World Cup coverage).
You need to register first, but it's free

Good alternative but only works for UK appearantly. Maybe with some proxy-tweaking other countries can watch it aswell.

a little trick i've been using for a few weeks to enable listening to offline bbc radio shows
extremely easily. works for PC users with android, blackberry & ithings via Dropbox.
Radio Downloader allows you to subscribe and download any BBC iPlayer radio content or
RSS podcasts. Simply set the download target to the Dropbox folder and the content will be
available on your mobile device for download & offline listening.
links
Radio Downloader (pc only) | Dropbox Account (2.25gb free*) | Dropbox Apps
* - you'll get an extra 250mb on top of the standard 2gb cloud storage using this link.
since this is a multi-OS topic i guessed this is the best place to post.
That's a rather good idea
that's the same crap as using the BBC player to play the contents directly
if you are able to download stuff from dropbox account
might as well just download the show directly to your phone
why go through so much trouble to accomplish the same thing?

To my knowledge you can't save what you're listening to with the iplayer app (on phone or PC).
So for instance if I want to listen to the Now Show or the News Quiz, or even Any Answers, I can do so when I'm on the tube in London.
I've missed so many good programs simply because I'm not near a radio/computer at the time that they're on.
@AllGamer.
because this method allows you to play content offline & as far as i'm aware the iplayer doesn't allow you to download unencrypted content - or any at all on the android app.

Depending on your needs the answers will vary like the previous poster stated...
IMHO, the most useful apps (for me) are:
- Flash (Get latest from adobe archives, because they have stopped developing for Android)
- A Tor based browser to circumvent any national blocks. (There is a combined package)
- Google Drive, so you can edit/share spreadsheets etc without filling your SD card.
I'm sure there will be many more things you will get interested in...

Well that's all for now, 3M

Here are some that I get on new devices
Latest Flash player for Android Version 11.1.115.81 this is a direct download link, check download folder for the apk file.
SwiFTP it enables an Android phone or tablet to easily share files with computers or other devices over a wifi network. These computers only need to have an FTP client, which all computers do. You can walk around with your MP3/video/ebook/whatever collection and share it seamlessly with almost any wifi-enabled system.

Hi everyone. I have a problem with build-in video player in Chrome.
For such sites, as m.youtube.com it's work correctly and looks like this:

It worked for site yummyanime.club as too.
But some days ago video player suddenly stopped working on this site in Chrome and other browsers. Instead, the video is played in the same player as on the computer (although I use a mobile version of the site). It looks like this:
It is inconvenient player on my phone. I want to use a player like in the first screenshot. I was surprised when I opened this site on my other old phone, and there this mobile player works:
In short, the problem is this: the mobile video player suddenly stopped working on a certain site on my new phone. This is a problem for all browsers. But on my old phone, everything works fine.
About system in old(correctly work) and new phone(have bug) accordingly:
So, main question is how to fix this problem and enable mobile video player? But I will be grateful for any information about this: how this mobile player work, does it have any settings, related links and so on.
1. Type "chrome://components/" into your address bar in Chrome.
2. Scroll down to Adobe Flash Player.
3. Click the Check for update button.
1. Type "chrome://settings/content" in the address bar in Chrome.
2. Scroll down to and click the Flash option.
......
Hope this would be helpful for you.

Flash is not supported in Chrome for Android. Video player of my old phone work fine without flash in chrome. Hardly a problem in the Flash. Thanks for the reply.
