Real names for stock apps - Hero CDMA Themes and Apps
I have searched the forums trying to find out if there is a way of knowing what are the real names for the stock apps are and found nothing.
I am not looking to learn how to delete them because I know how to delete them, once I find them, but the trick is finding them and being right about them.
For example, the name of the android calendar widget, or the android clock widget, or the photo albums widgets...etc.
I use root explorer to delete apps and it also allows me to search for anything I need. I have searched for widgets but cant locate them, for apps with the same result.
Unless I am seeing them but not recognizing them because of their name not been a clear indication that that is the app or widget I am looking for..
Has anyone created a list like
GenieWidget.apk = news and weather widget
htcContacts.apk = people (Card)
htccontactswidgets.apk = People widget (Card)
etc, etc.
If so can I be pointed in the right direction?
Thanks

Message to self..Calendar Provider does remove the android widget (white and blue calendar) but also messes up your calendar sync ability.
Lesson learned.

Agenda One Separate shortcuts
Hi, I am wondering if some has figured out how to create separate shortcuts for Agenda One's Calendar, Contacts etcetera. It just irriates me that whenever I'm clicking: Contacts or Calender it always just starts Agenda One. (and not agenda one contacts or agenda one calendar specifically...) Thanks P.S. Hope the thread is in de right forum.
I got it! Agenda One has already shortcuts for that: \Agenda One-tasks (for tasks) \Agenda One-today (for today view in calendar) \Agenda One-contacts (for contacts) But, now I have a new question: Where can I change the standard contacts/calendar and tasks shortcuts?
I just figured it out. It can be changed in the registry very easily. Just go to:HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Rai There you'll find folders like: ":MSCALENDAR" ":MSCONTACT" etcetera These folders contain an entry with an URL to your default application. Just edit that one (called: "1") For Calender: "\Program Files\Agenda One.exe" goto calendar For Tasks: "\Program Files\Agenda One.exe" goto tasks For Contacts: "\Program Files\Agenda One.exe" goto contacts etcetera

Thanks dud. Looks nice
Awesome! Exactly what I was looking for! Great job! After applying the entire widgets.zip and even the individual search, the search bar widget remains non-transparent. Any clues?
Maybe your not using Launcher2.apk?
where can i get the lower 4-icon tray for my CM 5.0.5.2 build?
Get the modded launcher2 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=641216

This is great work, but I'm still mainly trying to get the genie widget in a transparent via morph or recovery. Searching Nexus threads and coming up empty handed here.
Nice work, Thanks!

!! Why are you using launcher 2? I think Launcher is better
It skips genie.apk for me. Also, search is still not transparent, but I'd prefer it that way.
On the money!
Have you managed to get the Buzz widget transparent? It doesn't work out for me even tho I've signed it.
the news and weather are not coming up transparent.suggestions?all others are ok.excellent work

I tried uninstalling, deleting, force reinstalling, signing.... Either get a "INSTALL_PARSE_FAILED_UNEXPECTED_EXCEPTION" or "INSTALL_FAILED_UPDATE_INCOMPATIBLE". note: The widget apk is named com.google.android.apps.updates.widget.apk
If I wanted to undo the calendar morph, how would I go about doing that? Is there a way to restore the original calendar look? Thanks
Default weather = Accuweather
You'd think that it would work. Any ideas as to why the radar will not animate?

ICS Photo Gallery Widget
I'm looking to display a widget of all my photos, but I have dozens of different folders all organized by the events/trips. Is there a way to allow selecting more than 1 album/folder for a single widget with the ICS Gallery Widget? Or an app with the same exact widget functionality that allows selecting more than 1 folder for the same widget?
