[REQUEST] Stock Music Player - help getting apk - Android Apps and Games

Hello!
When i had old soft, i had 2 players, one of them looked like this:
simplehelp.net/images/android_music_windows/android_music_windows17.png
bankfotek.pl/image/637116.jpeg
(cant make links for you so u must copy and paste links into your browser - sorry for that - its spam preventing system for new registered, just add www and dot before link)
When I changed soft, i only have one player, and its sux,
And now my request - can i get this player from somewhere? Maybe you can pull out apk from your phone with this player if u have it for me?
I very need this player.
In web i just found this about this player:
Activity namespace: com.android.music/com.android.music.MediaPlaybackActivity
I would be very happy if someone can give me some info about this.
Thanks in advance
Raven

Are there any music search and download apps?

Sorry guys, been searching and browsing but cannot find the answer to my question. I am coming back to WinMo after a couple years on Android and on Android there were market apps called iMusic, Music Tao, Music Online, etc. which would allow you to search for songs and stream them or download locally as MP3. Are there any similar apps that have both of these options?
There are programs that read torrentfiles, since providing illegal content is...well, illegal, I won't provide the name here, but I guarantee you that a simple google will do the trick
Also, if you're searching for 1 song, instead of an entire CD: prostopleer.com
Don't mind the Russian language, just fill in the title of the song in the searchbar, hit enter and press download.
--> If this is considered not allowed on this site, please just delete this post, or notify me and I will do so
Thanks for the response. I am open to free, or paid (alternatives to Amazon MP3 app), so I don't see why it would be a problem to share info on the apps that are out there.
no download, but worth to take a look at

Nanogroove in fact downloads the last heard song. You can find it in the root of the SDCard --> groovy.mp3. Just rename it and store it somewhere else. And voila you got the song you just streamed in quiet good quality (128/192kbps).
nanoGroove is amazing...my g0d..is all i can say
I like this russian site prostopleer dot com
seems to work on my hd2 but yes it's only in russian but it's easy to figure out. just type the name and search...
you can use SciLor's GrooveMobile v7 to stream music (not download)
found it here:
h**p://hd2apps.blogspot.com/2010/04/htc-hd2-apps-scilors-groovemobile-alpha.html
how do you use nano? i can't get anything to play or download on my hd2. do you have to go somewhere else to listen to the music it downloads ?

You always need the newest Version IMEDIATELY when it is released (at the moment 1.06) otherwise you wont be able to access grooveshark. Maybe you got an old one running....
I have both nanogroove and scilors groove mobile and scilors gm downloader.
Nanogroove is not a downloader but each song that is streamed is saved on the phone SD card as groovy.mp3. So I simply rename the file and voila, I have the mp3.
Scilor's is much better. Although the interface is bad imo. The streaming app is separate from the downloader. The downloader worked for me. I haven't used it in a while so I don't know if things have changed. search for Scilor's here or google.
Go to HD2 apps blog for the nanogroove. I am too lazy to post the links but if google gives you a bunch of hits just search for hd2apps on facebook.

[Q] Mp3 download

Hi
Is anyone can write simply application to search and download mp3 from ulub<dot>pl search engine?
I suppose it is not very hard. On the page you are writing some title, then it shows you a list of mp3, you choose one of them and click "Pobierz na komputer" to download
Wouldn't it be easier to just go to the site mentioned than to have a dedicated app for it? If you cant go on that site on your phone, trying using dropbox and download the songs you want and sync them up with your phone. Or just download the normal MP3 Downloader form the market, it works quite well.
My Wildfire is quite slow phone so it takes a long time before the site is completly loaded. Dropbox is too complicated. I can't find polish mp3 using downloader from market.
I just thought it would be nice to have application which can download mp3 direct to phone from this site
just download it with your comp and copy it onto your phone?
Here are all the mp3s at ulub.pl
Just click that and refine the search.
btw, ulub is a bandwidth pig.
hey... zeppelin mp3s lol
@zeppelinrox
This is not exactly what I was looking for, but it's OK. It's faster. Thanks a lot
Glad you like that idea and thanks for the thanks.
You can always just put a bookmark on the desktop to run it quick n dirty and use the browser as an mp3 downloading app

URL-Link on the Desktop

Hi,
I want to have a link to a radiostation (sorry, I'm not allowed to post the URL, it is an mp3-file) on the desktop (homescreen) and when I klick on this link I want, that MX plays it. I can open this URL direct in MX, but I can not find how I can create such a link. Is this possible?
Thank you,
Magistus...
PS: Sorry for my bad english!

Unfortunately, MX Player doesn't have any desktop widgets.
However, you could probably simulate what you want by using Tasker and creating a Tasker process + widget, and using Tasker to access teh MX Player API (here: https://sites.google.com/site/mxvpen/api )
If MX Player is able to parse the link then it's likely able to be set as default for it, say if you'd be using the share button for it.
If you're able to open the link with MX Player, you could probably use a custom launcher to make the link a shortcut on your homescreen and use MX Player as default to open it.
I couldn't recommend you a specific launcher for this, I don't use one at the moment. 4 years ago I was doing something similar using LauncherPro, but I'm not sure that's maintained anymore. I'm sure many launchers have built off LauncherPro's source though so I'm sure there'll be a good, free launcher available that does this.

You're going to have to provide more details than that.
Hardware plugin
I have a galaxy S5. Is it correct that I no longer need a separate plugin app for hardware decoding ?

1. DTS is licensed; install the custom codec: http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/mx-player/mx-player-custom-codec-dts-support-t2156254
2. I don't have any problems, sounds like a Play Store sync issue, possibly. See: http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/mx-player/faq-purchase-history-error-t2908179
I don't talk about the sound !
I am talking about popup message that shutdown the player ! because I don't have internet now to check the validate version
why this message appear Constantly and my app is purchased already !

Indeed, it is on the feature requests list thread, and the developer is working on it as one of the planned "major" features.
Hi ladies and gents...
Please I am having a problem plz help me, I have been trying to figure up how to set #MX_Player to player the Next video instead of returning to the list after playback is finished.
Please I have been searching for this setting for a while now. But I use to use it on previous versions of the player. I am currently using Version 1.7.41.

Disable that, and it should play the next video in the folder.
Questions for the MX-perts:
I used to be able to stream .m3u8 video streams on my nexus 9 however, shortly after upgrading to MX Pro, I receive the "unable to play this file" error.
- Any changes to MX codecs?
- I have tried SW, HW, & HW+ settings.
- I can still play m3u8 videos with the stock video player, but it stinks without any customization.
- Lastly, I have tried the neon.1.7.32.rev1codec zip with a new MX Pro installation.
I'm still getting the "unable to play this file" error.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!

Is .m3u8 still listed there? Also, isn't that a playlist file?
As far as I'm aware, @bleu8888 has said that .m3u8 isn't officially supported yet.
