[REQUEST] Android as a BT remote app for PS3 - Android Apps and Games

I already have a Harmony One with the IR to BT receiver but I think it would be pretty awesome to control the menu/Blu-Rays with my N1.
It can't be that hard to develop. If you had a BT keyboard you can connect it to the PS3 and you can mimmick the controls with certain keyboard buttons. (I think, haven't personally tried it but the functionality should be there for EVERY buttion. So far I've just tried the arrows.)
If I knew a crap about developing I'd do it myself.

Do want!

Yeah, I would pay for this as well. Definitely $5-$10.

Anyone find anything that can do this? I think Google tv is coming out with something like this for Harmony remotes but its only for Google tv.

Use android phone as bluetooth keyboard

Hello i started a thread over at the evo app section but i think this is a better place for this.
I want to use my evo (or any android device or phone) to act as a bluetooth keyboard for my ps3 so that way while i play online or use the web i can just use my phone. Ther is an app calle PRemoteDroid that uses this concept but i can't seem to pair it with my ps3. Any ideas or devs out there looking forward to turn this into a possible project? I don't have a lot of money but i can may've donate what i can? Thank you!

[REQ]Using Android phone as keyboard for PS3

Hi, I was wondering if this was possible. I actually was looking to see if there was such an app..
Anyways, just started using my PS3 again online and I didn't have a keyboard. Figured there might be an app in the market for that to use your phone as a bluetooth keyboard for the PS3.
Any takers on this request??
+1 This would be great, also an app to use our Androids as a mic and headset would be great
This would be great. The best way to get this to work would be for the phone to act a a standard Bluetooth HID. Then you could use it on anything. Keyboard or mouse.
This would be the bomb!

We've been asking for this since Droid 1 came out. No one has been able to do it.

Mesmerize as a bluetooth keyboard

Was wondering If there was a program that lets u use a android device as a bluetooth keyboard. im looking to use my mesmerize as a bluetooth keyboard with my PS3.
Just a thought. Check out unified remote in the market. I use it as a wifi keyboard on my computer. They have a version 2 out but its not in the market. You have to go to they're website to get it. Its in beta right now and I keep getting kicked off their server but they'll get the bugs worked out

I haven't been able to find one yet.. Several XDA members have been looking into writing an app but to my knowledge nobody has gotten far with it...
If you find one that works please let us know!!!
I'm wanting one to control the blu ray player and everything a normal remote would do...
I just saw an app for that in appbrain, also in the market. It's called PRemotedroid. Its says its a wifi/Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. I've never used it but it might be worth a shot

That is correct, for the PC. Has to have the server software installed on the PC.
Has anyone had any experience with App Inventor for Android?
If so maybe you should read up on this..

Wonder if we could make our own ps3 bluetooth remote

Emulator

So i recently seen that some people use their wii controllers with their emulators on the phones. does anyone here do this? It seems like it's impossible with our phone. I was wondering if anyone may know why.

i think samsung ui is to blame. Not sure why, but often, market apps that offer this functionality does warn samsung users that it won't work on these devices (galaxy S mostly).. also true for htc users.
They can however work on custom roms, such as cm7 and so on. Not sure if they'd work with valhalla black.
Does anyone know of a controller that does work? I also seen the ps3 controller works on some phones but i doubt it will work for our phone if the wii controller doesn't. But i have also seen a product Valle phone joy and i can't seem to find any reviews

BlackBerry Remote Control

Anybody know of any good android apps that work in a similar fashion to blackberry bridge? I have a Nexus S and a SGT 7.0 that I wouldn't mind "bridging" together the way you can with a blackberry phone and a playbook.

Would love one too, though I don't think that anybody beside RIM will be able to create an app like for android.
I thought i saw a app on the market. Android or tablet remote?

Webkey is a sort of work around to achieve this. Textab is limited to txt messages but its handy at times too.. any vnc app run on your phone can be logged into from your tablet provided its setup correctly.. its cool too. Nothing as slick as the bridge they have though...
