How do I change where the manila audio settings manager looks for ringtones and alert sounds? I can't get it to look where I want it to. >:U

dont think i have seen this posted so i just want to put it out there...if u want to have your custom tones, very simple, no adb no terminal...just make folders on your sd card name notifications, alarms, ringtones, and place your sounds, and it will show up when u choose a ringtone notification or alarm...hope this helps, lata
Which image do I change to change the incoming caller or outgoing call icon... I want to change up the standard Android one.
I've pulled the com.htc.resources.apk from /system/framework and changed some images around but for some reason can't get the caller icon to change.

Which image exactly are you talking about??
You might want to look in HTC_Phone.apk res folder though.

Just extract zip and place the ringtone and notification folder into your media folder with the already existing ones. Enjoy
Hi All,
I have HTC HD2 with WM7 OS.
I try to set different ring tone on my contacts.
I go to People-->I select my contact-->Edit-->ringtone
the system shows me it's own default ringtones only.
I have put my ringtones (*.mp3, *.wma with duration less than 30sec) into
Windows folder (the location of default ringtones) even into my storage card/my documents/my ringtones, but on ring tone selection I cannot see any of them.
Does anyone configure it?
