Ain't gonna use it but was good for a 1 time laugh for me Old school Steam look It sucked @ that time (better now, but iw.net/ea friens network sucks 10 times more)!
Lol, adding it to my random boot animation folder! Thanks for the laugh
haha thats pretty funny bro. Using it as an actual boot animation would be iffy though. Just cause its really long and no one will ever see the end of it unless you were to get a boot loop haha

download to pc extract modify the images to fit evo re zip place on sd card zipsign remove sign part flash and happy boot animation
Had just made it work on mine.
Did not change anything, just modified the dimensions in desc.txt to fit the evo kinda like what Sinistertensai suggested. Animation order and files kept intact.
Credits still go to Kryket (http://forum.sdx-developers.com/theme-files/thedarkside-boot-animation) ... Attaching the bootanimation.zip file, replace the one in system>customize>resource
Here is the animation preview

[Boot Animation] Simple company branding

Just finished my first (really simple) boot animation. It wasn't nearly as difficult as I anticipated, but I never could have done it without a push in the right direction from wrx4me.mp.
Couldn't come up with a theme, so I based it off the flagship product my company produces. Since it's corporate, I'm not going to post the actual package, but if for some reason anyone wants it I'm more than happy to send it.
Right now it's manual installation via adb only, at least until I figure out how to make a flashable zip.

That's what it's all about!
Now I just have to get the hang of After Effects/Vegas... It feels weird to be using them for something other than actual video editing.

[MOD] Custom BMW Boot Animation

Hey guys, so I just got finished making my first boot animation (or modifying rather). In any case, this is my first one, so go easy on me. But I'd figure I'd share it with you guys, in case there are any other BMW fanatics out there like myself.
The ///M Logo is set to loop, so the animation is slightly different once on your phone. In any case, here is a gif and the .zip is below.

Apple Assassination Boot Screen Animation

I created a custom boot animation for my Dinc last night and figured I would share it with the good folks of XDA.
It is basically an Apple logo being shot a few times by the Android figure, then blows up. This was my first attempt at creating a boot animation so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
I haven't been able to set it out on my Dinc due to some issues accessing the system folder on a new ICS ROM that still needs to be worked out. But, I did test it using the Boot Animation Previewer and it worked fine there - so I am making the assumption it works on my device.
Here is the link to the bootanimation.zip file

Updated: So I realized that this file is never going to work because the original is 151MB, so I severely cut down the size, the links above now post to a new file that is 3.8MB. This should work now.
Sweet bootanimation.
