You did it! Today you are my hero! Thank you very much! Now let me buy you a drink or something.
This is so so cool
how would i push this to froyo?
is it:
adb remount
adb push bootanimation.zip /system/media/bootanimation.zip
EDIT: nevermind, figured it out, just had to flash via recovery
Here is an inverted copy of the original boot animation (white on black, instead of black on white).
There is a "flash" of white on the loop, not sure where that is coming from.
Again all due credit is to the OP, I just inverted the colors.

nice! I first made it that way but the size pictures I used made it way to "heavy". It was easier to just do it white after spending so much time on it.
that "flash" is probably the transition from part0 to part1..messing with the desc could fix it.
for me it doesn't matter, with froyo I don't get past 00073 and I think page 2 starts at 00090+.
This boot animation is insane, I love it! Thanks for sharing it
You are the man!!! this is some cool ass ****, im gonna keep restarting my phone now lol.

All of these bootscreen's zips are flashable. Just put them on your SD card and flash them to use. You may have to delete (make sure to back it up) HTC's "bootanimation.zip" from your phone to get a new bootanimation. It is located in "system/media/".

This bootscreen doesn't repeat like in the picture below. After the animation below is completed, the clouds still move and the sun still shines but the grass doesn't grow again and the droid doesn't flip again.

With this boot animation, what you see is what you get.

Like the one above, what you see is what you get. Also, I did not make the images of the android on a skateboard, I found them on Google. I simply put them into the animation.
I like them!

I could try! I'll pm you when I'm done and you can tell me whether or not you like it. I don't think I'll finish today though.

No problem, i'm off to bed now anyways =] Can't wait to see when its done.
I think the skateboard one needs to be a 100th of a ms faster and the spiral one needs something in the middle. Otherwise I like em. I like that people are making bootscreens. Keep it up!

Sorry i do not have a gif, but the pictures give a crude idea of what it is...
It seems to run a bit slow, is everyone experiencing this? I believe the cause is because my custom version is nearly 4 times taller than the original
This is my version of an Anti-Nexus boot animation
DO NOT WORRY, the originals are also in this post and can be restored
Its a full white screen boot with full colored and black nexus animation.
Directions:
Flash via Recovery (Easiest Way)

Looks nice, does run slow but no biggie. Still looks good.
This is a theme for Sky Raider 3.3 final that I just got started with. Only a few things are themed for now.
The icons are black (not all are themed right now) and the framework is mostly red (again, not all is finished).
Download: The file is 115.03 MB. Sorry there are TONS of icons! It is named v0Test, but don't worry, it is the right version.
Red Raider v0.1
Mirror
Flash it like any other theme.
MANY Updates are coming.

Sweet...gonna take this one for a spin when I get home.
Love the red/black gradients. Not so big on the font, but I can easily remedy that.
So I'm assuming this will automagically replace all the icons? What if I decide I don't like 'em? Any way to do this without replacing the icons?
Thanks, HTC!
Just open up the .zip file, go into system, and delete the 'app' folder. That will remove the themed icons.

What program did you use to take those screen shots?
Drocap2. It is pretty nice.
Yea it is, im using screen shots and it is terrible
Drocap is very nice. I also use PicMe, which is pretty dang cool if you're at your computer. Acts like a server on your phone, so you actually pull up your phone's screen on your laptop/'puter, capture it, and easily post it to your fav photo repository site. Between that and the Drocap/Photobucket app combo, capturing and posting screencaps is actually a pretty simple affair.
I am currently working on a v0.2 release.

Just wondering when v2 will be out. I really like this so far.

I just need permissions from a mod for one thing.
Then I will post it.
[¦] mobile [¦]
Are you waiting for permission for the red swype? If they say no, I also have a red shapewriter!
Are you going to mod the color on the market, phone, etc? Looking forward to seeing v0.2 and the screenies when you get it finished.
Thanks for the work and appreciate it.
Hey everyone. I'm working on a new bootanimation. My brother in law is a fireman and inspired me to make this. I have a preliminary rough draft. Looking for some testers and feedback.
Im planning on adding smoother animation for the droid and having the apple burn and ash away and turn into the android logo.
Boot Animation BURN2
Part2:
Fixed the link on my computer. On the phone it only allows uploads of media files. I edited the filetype to .zip. So now just download, rename, and replace old file.
This is the second edition of the boot animation. I think it's starting the polish up nicely. The first edition was basically a structure and base design just to see where things go. This edition is slightly more polished. I noticed Andy does a little hop before starting the apple on fire but I kind of like how it triggers the flames. Please leave any feedback on changes I can make. Also, I'm going to upload some custom icons I made for myself and my brother in law.
Anyway here's the link to the newest edition

I will try it out and I will LOVE to see your final work. I am a fireman also. THANKS
Changed it to zip but it just says Android like the default boot but ok none the less

I also have to mention its not a flashable zip. Replace your stock bootanimation.zip. rename it to match. MUST be named bootanimation.zip or for Sense VZW_BOOTANIMATION.ZIP

Will try thanks

Nice
Looking good. The turning to ash and blowing away will be neat
love it .thanks for the good work.
Since I live in Switzerland and thus don't have anything to do with AT&T I've been looking to replace that rather "meh" stock AT&T-bootanimation.
I've been looking for a worthy replacement and stumbled over a few Portal-inspired animations. I decided to stick with that theme but haven't really fond anything suitable. What I've found however is this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhUknTxm1SA
which basically inspired me to create my own animation in a similar style...

I've also packed all the motorola-stuff in front of my animation, so only the AT&T part was replaced...
Suggestions would be much appreciated
PS: I'm aware this thing is quite the monster but be aware that it is an already heavily compressed version
Oh, and one more thing, dawg: I heard you like zips, so I put a zip inside your zip so you can unzip while you unzip...
Anyways The bootanimation.zip is inside the attached zip and needs to go to /system/media/
Thanks, it looks great! However I think I'll stick with my boot animation of Andy blowing up a silver Apple
Also, if you really want to compress it, then use the free application 7zip (for windows). I can get it down to about 4 mb using the .7z format.
When I wrote compressed I was referring to the images inside the zip The original used losless png-files and ended up being bigger than 20MB
Rest assured I was using 7zip to zip the zipwise uncompressed bootanimation.zip which was apparently just a little too big to upload
