I see that there are a lot of system file with hide and system attribute so I can't modify them... (i.e. the startup sound file)
Is there a way to change its attributes?

just replace that startup with another file with the same name or rename it to name of sound.wav.bak and replace it with a renamed name of sound.txt to name of sound.wav and u can use resco explorer smartexplorer of total commander to change a files attributes and if you cant see system files uncheck hide operating system files on pc folder option
make gs finder my default file explorer and remve wm5 default file explorer pls ?
is there any app that can setting copy the file to system folder and create the shortcut to the homescreen?
so the next time i want to copy the file , i just need to click the shortcut and it copy the file automatically without me to dig the folder.

hope I'm posting this in the correct place.
I have my DCIM folder on my SD card, and I have deleted the folder instead of an individual photo in the folder several times now.
Is there a way to prevent the deletion of this folder, by locking it or installing an app that will lock the folder, but not hide it or impact the usability in any way?
Change the permission to read only using any file browser like xplore..
Permission cannot be changed unless its a system folder..
The only option is to be careful not to delete any folder you don't want to or download ES File Explorer from the play store and enable Recycle Bin so you can restore back your folder in case you delete them.
I've installed the ES File Explorer, let's see if that does the trick. Thanks!

I have a NExus 10 root android 5.1.1
last v. of Es File Explorer
I can access \system\etc and modify permissions
but when i try to copy from outside folder or edit inside gps.conf
result is empty file !?
I guess is only inside system folder that doesn't work cause I usually copy/move files
Is it weird or something simple I don't know?
