request: battery morph - Nexus One Themes and Apps

I have applied a morph that changes the notification bar to black. With that, the battery icon also changed. I am looking for a morph of either the stock battery icon or one which would center the battery percentage in desire like battery icons.
I am using cyanogen 5,0,7,1 rom

I am running the theme call BlackIce made by- amac25 -on 5.0.7.1.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=643550
I use the battery clear morph by- rori -posted in the morph section.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=654858&page=6

I have a file that pushes the percentage back to the center for the desire battery but it is incompatible with 5.0.7.1 (will crash the OS). I will gladly post it if someone can figure out how to update it (from 5.0.6 compatibility).

(REQUEST)status bar morphs

Can someone please make a status bar morph for 5.0.4 like this one. thanks in advance!
No takers. Well thanks for looking at the thread! I appriciate all the themers hard work.
Ask the person where you found that screen shot. It appears to be a mixture of various status bar icons.
I sent a message to the dev yesterday no reply.
After looking at it a second time, I realized where I saw it before.
http://android-theme-minus.googlecode.com/files/CarbonNexus_Status_Bar_Morph.zip
Credit to jonnybueno and myself for the images included. It is part of his carbon nexus theme.
framework-res.apk/res/layout/status_bar.xml and services.jar/classes.dex built against CM 5.0.4.1 source. If not compatible, I have built files against most CM releases and Enomther's 1.6.1.
Also, fixed up the icons a little bit. At the time, I hadn't done the 1X and H icons, in this morph, I included the 1X and H icons similar to all the other data icons.
I will apply and report back
here is the result the clock is black and there is no charging status or blue in charging or standby
The blue is in the images as the charging image. I do not know why it isn't showing up.
http://android-theme-minus.googlecode.com/files/White_text_clock_date_5.0.4.1.zip
I haven't done a morph that includes a .jar before so I probably screwed that up. Here is the sevices.jar for CM 5.0.4.1 that has just white text for the clock and date. Flash it in recovery.
clock is back now is there a way to make the battery blue all the time even when not charging?

Go into the morph, open up all the blue images of the battery, then save them as the not-blue version of the battery.

REQUEST: Completely transparent Statusbar

i have seen many "glass" statusbar and other transparent ones, however, they are not fully transparent as they still have this rectangular shape to it at the top of the screen, also, the signal strength still has its own black background
would someone kindly make a morph that would enable a fully transparent status bar, with the icons found in desire notification bar?
and when a pull down is done, the bar turns black and the pull down background is also black transparent like the nextheme?

- fully transparent will make any white text unreadable when there is an app with a white background like the browser running.
- there are signal strength morphs with a transparent bg. check the morphs thread
you could just take the desire status bar morph and make the status bar background image transparent...

i thought of that, but i didnt find a morph that only applies transparency to my current status bar
try this one. As I said above there are serious limitations when its 100% trans.

i see what you mean with this limitations, i,e with the browser!
if only there is a way to make the status bar respond differently with apps with different backgrounds.

Can you compile a theme that is not 100% clear, but something like 90% -
Looks like the Glass Status Bar - i've tried downloading the Glass status bar a few times but it does not work for me on Cyanogen 5.0.6 - AT ALL.
one time it even crash my rom so bad i had to nand restore!
Thanks,
Guy.
You can try it with the newest metamorph version. cyanogen rom makes a bit troubles by patching the framework-res.
Stericson has made an option in his app, that allows us, to apply the morphs not too fast.
I don't know why, but on mcr roms its easier to make metamorphs.

When download your Glass Status Bar i got the error with
"he theme you selected is invalid because the theme control file could be missing.........." - i have the latest metamorph from market,
What am I doing wrong?
Then you have renamed the *.zip file I think. (Or it's renamed by your download manager)
The name of zip file AND the *xml file must be the same or you get the error.
Before applying the morph, press menu and choose a not so speedy value.

[THEME] Desire Notification Bar with White Battery FRF91

Used XebozZ desire notification bar here--> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=706137 and created white battery icons
Currently tested on Kang-o-rama FRF91 SP3, Should work with Cyanogen 6.0.0 rc1
Credit goes to XebozZ..... and just a dab for me
****MetaMorph Only*****

How about for enomther?

Sorry I'm fairly new to Metamorph. I just flashed to Cyanogen 6.0, and downloaded Metamorph. What exactly is the next step, and for whatever reason, is it possible to bring back the STOCK notification bar if I don't like this one?
Hit the unzip/extract new theme button......find the theme......click the XML file... apply all.......done
Doing a Nandroid backup will take you back to stock incase you dont like it or something messes up....If you don't know what I'm talkin' about i suggest you read up on it before you do anything
I don't know if this will work for any other rom but the ones above
Would it be possible to get the battery morph as a standalone? This would look great with a matte black bar.
Can you make the green on the lock screen white as well?

[MORPH][THEME] Cleaner BlackBar: Enomther's, CyanogenMod 6, others. Data icons inside

All the "Desire bar" / BlackBar morphs and themes that I've looked at use the same icons for data connectivity, with text (G/E/3G/H) directly above the arrows. These icons have a "bug" - they look like they've been brought together from several places, and when you loop between them - you see the different arrows, fonts and location, which makes the experience very annoying when they flash on the screen.
I tried to use the stock icons on the Desire bar, but their background was visible on the bar, annoying to the eye.
So I took 15 min and removed that background (setting it transparent), leaving the arrows and text. The result is attached and can be used in themes/morphs/ROMs for black or dark notification bar.
I've modified the Desire notification bar morph by XebozZ to include those icons and stock battery icon, to be able to morph in 1 step. It works only for pre-themed ROMs (having pre-themed white notification bar text version) or latest Enomther, CM6 and others (allowing to change the notification bar text color). See 2nd post for morphs.
I've decided to share the morphed Black notification bar that I use for myself. Since I do it for myself, it'll naturally be made for the ROMs I use - which happen to be Enomther's.
Will work on Enomther's ROM starting 2.12.prealpha and up, CyanogenMod 6.0, or any other ROM that supports white text notifications.
Download and apply the attached morph, using stericson's Metamorph from the market.
Don't forget to change notification text colors in Spare Parts.
I didn't try other morph apps, you can do it, don't complain if it doesn't work, though.
My morph includes the following changes from the usual Desire Bar found everywhere else:
1) Modified stock data connectivity icons from the 1st post.
2) Stock battery indicator (the % are too large for DesireBar battery indicator, doesn't look good IMHO).
Thanks to Saphroxx for Desire Bar morph template, dumbestcrayon for the update.zip template of older versions, Enomther for ROM, stericson for Metamorph, and the rest of thanks to the people behind Andoid, both community and corporate.
For those that like Desire/Sense battery icons, Sapproxx made a version that includes them instead of stock battery icons:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7983261&postcount=20
Will this work with Enom's stock ROM or should I flash the Prethemed White text file he has on his thread before I flash this?
Edit: Nevermind. I re-read a part of your 2nd post and I see you included his services.jar.
Thanks, man! I really appreciate this!
Updated for 2.11.3.
Services.jar is erroring out on install.
Edit: Says E: Wrong Digest and gives the location of services.jar.

Perfect, man.
Thanks again for this. It's my favorite notification bar so far.
Have you thought about doing one of these in pure black? I know there's somebody out there who has a pure black one, but I didn't like his battery icons and everything. The icons and the way this is put together is exactly what I like, and maybe a pure black one without the glossy highlights would be cool too. Just sayin'...
Also, have you noticed that the battery percentage is slightly to the left in the battery icon? Is that something that is fixable or is it just the way Enom's ROM displays the battery percentage?
Thanks again for your work.
I can do the pure black, it's only a matter of changing a single PNG file - but personally I don't like the pure black, the area "melts" with black background and the bar isn't distinguishable.
The battery percentage is a bit tricky. The icon is shifted right - because of the "nose" of the battery, which has to protrude left, but the battery also has to remain within icon boundaries and be balanced between them. So to make the text in the middle of the battery, it has to be shifted right several pixels. The text appears exactly in the middle of the icon space - but since the battery is shifted right because of the "nose", the text seems a bit left.
i take it this doesn't work with leo's 2.0?
Using a morph - it works with ANY deodexed ROM.

That's cool. I just figured I would suggest it. Thanks for the bar you've already done, which is pretty much all I've used since I switched to Enom's ROM.
can we get a screenshot of the reuslt pls...
Posted in the 1st post.
Bumping for an update to 2.12 pre-alpha!
Since I've realized that Enomther's ROM has the text color set in Spare Parts now, I've updated the 2nd post to suggest using morph method for Enomther's 2.12.prealpha and up.

Works like a charm. Highly recommended.
The same instructions that MicroMod777 gives for his themes work for this one too.
"To properly set white text colors go to "Spare Parts", "Status Bar Options", "Status Bar Colors", "Set All Colors", use code "ffffffff". Then go back to "Notification Items", and set them ALL black to: "ff000000". Then Reboot."
The only other thing to get this looking exactly like the 2.11.3 zip version is to go into Status Bar Options -> Status Bar Colors -> Notifications in Pull-Down and make sure Clean Notifications Button is also set to ff000000. This is supposed to say "Clear Notifications Button" but he mistyped it.
thx for continuing my work and the reference. Note that my nickname contains an "h" though as in Saphroxx.
Only thing I noticed is that the stock battery icon is there now instead of the desire battery indicator.
Good job on fixing the differences in arrows mate

Fixed 10chars
For the people who prefer the Desire/Sense battery icons, like I do, I created this alternative Desirebar-Black-Pulldown-SenseBatteryIcons.
To be applied with Metamorph.

Semi-transparent status bar?

What's up all. Looking for someone to help out on this.
I've been trying to find a way to make the status bar semi-transparent. (not notification bar) Is there a way to flash a zip file and have the status bar transparent or half way so the wallpaper is showing. This will make the screen look bigger and the over look on sense themes will be sweet.
I'm using the mannup revolution theme that comes with redemption rom.
Any ideas? Thanks!

It would be awesome if someone could make a standalone zip (the one in the post includes the round battery indicator) with just the transparency
Lots of transparency mods don't include transparency on the item backgrounds, and that one does. Pretty awesome

Thanks for the help guys!!! This will get me started. I tried flashing the the transparent bar over Redemption rom with the incredible revolution theme and the bar was only transparent when the phone was in lock. After I unlock the phone it went back to the black status bar. Might have been because I removed rosie to only use launchepro. I'll mess around with this and post if I get anywhere.
I'm surprised there are not more themes with an option for the semi-transparent status bar. Even the semi status bar when phone is locked looked awsome.
If any one has any other ideas, please post them. Thanks!!!
It only fully works when using the sense launcher.
I would use it, but it removes any rosie mods (such as the manup sexy rosie skin) when applied so i haven't been able to use it lately.
Yeah same here. I wish it was as simple as flashing a zip to change the script in a current theme framework.

Privet, its in services.jar file its simple to mod but i dint know what line it is that makes it transparent. The mod you have becomes clear with lwp's also.
I've been messing with this for a while, I've got mine transparent, but it turns out launcher pro doesn't support the transparencies. As soon as I install launcher pro it goes solid black.
really? i didnt think launcher pro had any affect on the notifications bar
Yeah I had the same issue. I'm using the redmptive rom now with the matted blues theme. I edited the theme to have the transparent bar and decided not to use launcher pro anymore.

Do it through ninja morph... worked for me. Only issue is that all of the notifications for battery and signal have black backgrounds that you'll have to fix as well.
