Hi,
Yes Pimbackup, or ActiveSync will work fine to restore contacts.
I would advise the latest Version of Pimbackup though.
Cheers,
Beasty
thank you beast,I try Pimbackup 2.5, it works fine.

There is no 100% VC working in WM6 but you can try Beasty and Leo Rom i think only Outgoing is working but buggy. You can try Kamal ultimate WM5 incoming an outgoing is working.

HI,
I've upgraded my XDA II to Ather's Diamond. Unfortunately I am not able to sync. Same with Wm2005 roms. I had to downgrade back to wm2003 to actively use activesync. Help pls.
Thanks.
please specify the problem..
can't know how to help you without knowing what the problem is
what does it show... what does it do..
I have both SPB Backup and Sprite for HTC backup - BOTH for which I paid and I had no problems using them on my Touch Pro. However, I recently flashed a custom ROM w/ WM6.5 and NEITHER programs will install. Both tell me that the install was unsuccessful.
A few days ago I remember reading a post here about a FREE backup tool which works w/ 6.5 and I've been going crazy trying to find that page again. So I'm asking if anyone knows what that backup program is that's free and works w/ 6.5.
Thanks!
Try PIM Backup v2.8. It works like a charm in WM6.1 & WM6.5. It ws tested working before & after I upgraded my Asus P565 to WM6.5.

I used PIM Backup as well to move my stuff from my Kaiser (AT&T Tilt) to my Rhodium (AT&T Tilt 2). Worked like a dream.
Hi,
after using pimbackup, don't you have problems to sync again with windows 7 please ?
thanks.
There is SkinZone backup app.
