Kaiser support added.
SuperJustKitchen v0.9 Released.
Go to my site: http://justkitchen.info to get the updates and the info. It takes to long to update every device's forum that is supported, and I plan to support all devices, eventually.
Word of warning:
Not all EXT's have been tested or modified for the every device. Please test test and test and then let me know which packages don't work and what YOU've done to fix them. (I don't have time to fix ALL of them by myself.) Some packages will only be compatible with some devices.
(I'm no longer updating each thread separately for each device but just updating my site and posting the release info here. I will only update each thread to say that a new version is out.)
**Warning**
Before using this kitchen, you MUST read the whole thread. Any questions that have been answered will be ignored. This is your only warning.
**Disclaimer**
I am not responsible for any damage that may be done to your phone with a ROM created in this kitchen.

At the moment, this is an ENGLISH (WWE) only kitchen. This might change...
NOTE: In order for me to keep track of whether my time was well spent or wasted, if you use this kitchen to make a ROM, please either include SJK in the name or just mention that it was SJK cooked in your ROM's thread.
NOTE: This kitchen assumes that you know how to flash through SD, recover from a bad flash and are able to backtrack your steps to figure out how you broke your own ROM. If you do not understand these, please learn them first. Do not PM me asking me. I have written numerous walkthroughs on all these except on how to backtrack your steps. For that, just remember what you're doing as you do it and keep backups.
If you find any issues, PLEASE report them to the bug tracker in my website. It will help me make this kitchen better!
ENJOY!!!

Nice to see you release kitchen for Kaiser, thankyou will come in handy for many users

Known OEM Package Issues
12-04-07
When all packages are applied, additional icons (Comm Manager, Internet Sharing, RealPlayer, Windows Media Player, etc) appear in program menu, which are not present in the AT&T shipped ROM. This is a minor issue and will not be fixed as provxml files are PITA
HTC HomePlug package has 9 icons, however, the 8th icon does not display on Tilt ROM
Sliding Sounds package has typo - The definitions for Sliding Sound 0 are both for "out"; the first one needs to be changed to "in". (Thanks slimshadee) (fixed in 12-17-07 OEM package update)
12-07-07
Ring-WindowsMobile and Ring-Vision ringtones show up, but are not present. (fixed in 12-17-07 ROM folder update) This can be resolved by changing the following in SYS\Base_Lang_0409\813fd1d1-ca6f-4b6d-96d2-c97fb99bd535.rgu:
Code:

Tired of Flashing
Just installed and I must say it's the fastest out the box so far.
Because it's clean & an AT&T Rom...I haven't had any carrier related issues, no registry tweaking required & I have plenty of space to put what I want & need.
All the other ROMs required too much tweaking and I also experienced some freezing.
I went thru this ROM flashing crap with my MDA...just want the damn thang to work.
From what I've seen and experienced so far....clean & stable is the way to go.
This device has plenty of storage space so there's no need to stuff it like with other devices.
If you have more than 60megs of crap to install...get a laptop
Thanks for the ROM/ROMs & I hope this is my last flash
Very Cool! Thanks for doing this!
I'm downloading the clean rom now and then will push it up to other sites for mirrors. Can someone do the same for the other two downloads (OEM Packages and ROM Folders)?
[Edit] Ok, I griped to quickly... MegaUpload let me pull all 3 down one after another (never been able to do that before). I'll mirror these shortly so there are other options.
what about the latest OS and .net?
This is a very clean ROM, but it does not have the latest .net and OS - any chance of on newer version?
Congratulations, you're making a great job...
Cheers.

It's going to take some time as i'm going to need to dump the registry for this... Might be another release tonight, depending on my free time.

The ROM includes the latest radio 1.27.14.09, so no worries for upgrades or future downgrades.
Please tell me I can use a custom 2G dialer and have smart dialing options enabled? and that there's no (A) in the dial screen menu
THANK YOU!!!!!
Finally...a clean base with options to cook an ATT ROM for the Tilt.
I have one note for you Alex...
Your OEM_ATT_160_Sliding_Sounds package has a typo in the rgu file (this same typo is also in the 1.56 rom package folder as well)...
The definitions for Sliding Sound 0 are both for "out"; the first one needs to be changed to "in".
My last goal is to completely obliterate touchflo...I thought I did so from the 1.56 rom package you provided by eliminating the TFSettings and Registry entries, but I think touch.dll also needs to be removed, am I correct?
Thanks again for your great work..
shadee
I can't stand touch flo either
Alarm no worky...I'll try the newer version with 3.5.net and see what happens.
Workaround: loaded ptravelalarm
NetCF 3.5 links updated in main post.

In NetCF 3.5 ROM, was able to set an alarm in the 'clock & alarms' control panel just fine and it went off at the appropriate time. Have not verified if this is a problem with NetCF 2.0.

Should be able to install any cab on top of the dialer. Smart dialing is available as an OEM package, but not installed in the ROM.

Yup, that should do it. I'll consider releasing another rom with Touchflo disabled and an OEM package to re-enable. Thanks again for all your input!
I am seeing problems with netcf rom. To fix, install cab. Will spend some time fixing rom and oem package when I'm in front of a computer.
-- NetCF 3.5 ROM & OEM package removed.
Thanks a million but...
Alex;
Thank you for releasing a clean ROM; but I also have to say ARRRGH! Why? Well I thought when I got the Tilt that my days of being a "flashaholic" had been cured by going from a Wizard to a Tilt. I mean, this thing has more than enough memory for me, both storage and operating, is certainly fast enough for what I use it for, and other than a few little quirks which I was able to take care of pretty much great out of the box.
Then I decided that I wanted the new radio since there are a couple of spots I am in every day where reception is iffy, but to get the new radio you need the new ROM so the idea of flashing crept in. I downloaded the "newer stock" AT&T ROM but got busy at work. I knew the kitchen existed but just didn't feel like getting into it since work has been 14 hour days and traveling so I simply don;t have time to be messing with my device or dealing with it not being 100%
But now that you have such a clean ROM, all the packages easily accessible I seem to have caught the bug again big time! I used mattrk's kitchen with my Wizard so I understand the basic concept of packages into OEM, build OS, create nbf and flash but this one seems a little different. I read the readme and everything else I can find and I know that the kitchen creator was working on a step by step but I was wondering if someone could validate or correct my thought process here.
I downloaded and installed the kitchen and the build OS updates. I just extracted them into c:\kaiserkitchen. There was nothing overwritten so I am not sure if I did this properly.
I installed hardSPL
From your first post I downloaded the cooked ROM with NetCF3.5, the OEM packages and the ROM folders. This is where I got a little confused. If I have the ROM folders can I simply add the OEM packages I want (including the NETCF3.5 package NETCFv35_wm_armv4i) into the OEM folder, move all three folders to the Base ROM folder in the kitchen and then use the kitchen starting with !Cook?
Alternatively do I need to extract from the whole ROM I downloaded and then do the rest of the process?
Also, I saw your post about some issues with NetCF3.5 ROM, that you said could be fixed with a cab, but I don't see it. Would there be the same problems if I added the package NETCFv35_wm_armv4i?
Sorry for asking a question that I could probably just experiment with on my own and figure out but I simply don't have enough hours in the day lately.
Thanks again for all your work on this!

[25/9/08] Tutorial - Make your ROMs SASHIMI-Compliant!

Hi all,
before I get started I would just like to say thank you to bengalih for
providing his excellent tools. All credit goes to him. Also, this method
would probably have been posted by him, but I think he's done enough
for us already
MODS: If this is in the wrong section, or should not be a thread, please
move it or delete it
So, this thread is basically dedicated to ROM chefs who would like to
make their ROMs compatible with the excellent SASHIMI tool which bengalih
has so graciously provided us with.
To get started, it's quite simple:
Download the attached OEM Package taken from bengalih's new ROM
Extract the Package in your OEM Packages folder (called Packages in KaiserChef and Kaiserkitchen
Cook it up!
What it does:
This OEM Package is actually quite simple. If you look at it, you'll see that it
includes Mortscript, which is used to trigger the .mscr script that is run by a
shortcut in startup, which checks for a SASHIMI folder every time the device
boots, and if there is one, it proceeds accordingly.
again, all credit goes to bengalih
enjoy
reserved.... (you never know)
reserved for changelog (if any)
I hate to ask seeing how bengalih has left, but is this all that is needed for SASHIMI compliance? I ask because the google cache of the tutorial states the use of a SASHIMI.xml file, which is not included in the package. I have not tested out your method, but will soon as I am trying to cook my own rom. I appreciate any help I can get on this as I waited too long before getting the package
this is the google cache here

It shows that you are registered twice and are activated on both accounts.
I do not have the ability to see passwords. IM me one of the usernames and passwords that you used so I can troubleshoot.
As far as the ROM goes:
If you have an elf, that file size is massive. Remember that the limit only removes the lower limit of a 50mb requirement. The elf doesn't have much space. Do not enable so many things. If you must have all those things, at least enable LZX compression and EXT-UPX compression.

Looks like there is a corruption somewhere in the kitchen. It is affecting every device. I think it has to do with the executable I changed last minute before updating the kitchen. I'll check myself on my computer.
any update yet?
I've been home sick with the flu so I haven't even touched my computer since. I will let you know more tomorrow. I should get some time to work on it, then.

Kaiser Danish[21/03/10][WM 6.5 Build 23544][DK][Native kernel 85MB][Extendir]

This is my first ROM I'm releasing.
I have created a Danish WM6.5 ROM with 85 MB free ram
I have done everything I can to make it stable and fast. I'm using it myself and I'm very happy with it.
This ROM is based on the latest Danish stock ROM I could get hold of.
I have removed some of the stock programs, and have added the following programs:
Code:
Bluetooth notifier
Mortscript (Un-Installable)
The ROM is extendir enable. You can everything about extendir here
This ROM is created with ervius visual kitchen
I thank everyone that have made this possible.
If I'm distribution anything that I shouldn't or haven't mentioned any people that I should then please let me know. It is not out of respect of other people, it is simply because I either didn't realize that I have used some of their stuff or because I have forgotten.
To use this ROM you must have a storage card for the initial flash.
First you extract the contents of the lagerkort.7z to the root of the storage card, so that you end up with a folder called extendir with a few folders and one file inside.
If you want some cabs to be installed as part of the new flash then copy then to the extendir\setups\. only cabs that are in a sub folder in setups will appear. So make one and only one level under setups for the cabs. (they will not be installed automatic, you get to chose which you want to install, so all all you cabs if you want)
Then you flash the ROM and leave the storage card in for the first 2 boots.
on 1st boot after you have calibrated the screen the customization starts, WM looks awful here, don't worry about this, as this step will extract all of the missing WM files to to the extendir folder.
On 2 boot the preset installer will boot and you can chose a few extra cabs to install and the ones that you have added.
You can download the ROM from here:
4shared
You can download the extra package here:

Congratulation and wellcome new chef

Danish rom with Manilla?
Would it be possible to create a version with Manilla? I would really love a danish rom with Manilla and HTC Weather...
Regards Ulrik
I possibly could create one.
But I recommend that you install Manilla after with a cab, or with zip files (in the extender folders) this should give the fastest rom. I can help create the scripts so that Manilla will install on first boot if you want?
hey man i can't get the hardware keyboard to input properly for æ, ø, å. I looked through your cabs but don't see a fix do you have one?
I tried this SkandinaviskTastatur5.CAB and XDA_JCEspi2005_Danish_Input_Kaiser.cab neither of which work. Let me know if you have a solution
I have a danish keyboard on my too, and the mappings are just fine on that one. So have no idea what could be wrong, unless there are more than one version of a danish keyboard. I access my æøå by FN and <UP><DOWN><UP> respectively.
I forgot to mention that I'm using a different rom to yours. Maybe you need a Danish WM 6.5 to get the hardware keyboard to work. If you could help me out in anyway that would be awesome cause it's a bit frustrating hunting around to find ? and stuff heh
Ahh that explains.....
I have no idea how to get the danish keys then. If I knew what to put in it I could create a CAB file for you, but I really have no idea what to put in to this cab...
I had the same problem when I used WWE roms, and never got it sorted.
@ Blindpet, try doing this:
Use a registry editor and change the following:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Hardware\Devicemap\Keybd\CurLang to 1044, this worked for me
I tried your ROM and overall its pretty good but i dont know if its my phone thats not set up properly but this rom have got a lot of screen lag though.
Anyway would be great with a proper danish rom for this great phone, keep up the good work
//KillerBee
EDIT: This solution doesnt work for me now.. I am not quite sure how you are supposed to change the HW keyboard language for a winmo 6.5 phone

!!!OSKitchen V 1.30 and Ervius Kitchen for GSM Treo Pro!!! Last update: 06/11/10

This OSKitchen is already setup for GSM Palm Treo Pro all you have to do is follow the tutorial and then your good to go. If you encounter any problems please tell.

Download Here
Place the Add-Ons in Windows Mobile Builds Folder
Code:
Sources>Windows Mobile Builds
Mord4z's 21884 build
System Requirements:
Microsoft .NET 2.0 (.NET 3.0 and 3.5 are 2.0 based so those work as well), already preinstalled on most computers, the kitchen won't start without it so it's easy to find out if it's missing
The following three system requirements also are preinstalled on most computers; the kitchen will warn you if they are needed so don't worry installing them unless required:
Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 runtime, required by xidump during the importing process
Visual Studio 2003 (7.1) Runtime Libraries, required by platformrebuilder to solve the "cereg400.dll cannot be loaded" error message, required by XIDump to solve the "Failed to init decompression!" error message and required by IMGFSFromDump to solve the "Unable to load compression DLL!" error message.
XmlLite Update Package required to solve the "Unable to load LibNB.dll" errors (only for Windows XP SP2)
!!!TUTORIAL!!!
1.Extract kitchen
2. Under Devices select "Palm Treo Pro"
3. For Device Profile select "default"
4. Select SYS Build
all builds 21056 and under are 6.1 builds
all builds 23xxxto 28xxx are 6.5.x
5. Select Language of choice
6. Select Compression (XPR recommended, LZX does better compression but it is rumored that it will slow down system performance)
7. Move To SYS Packages Tab - Disable Anything You Do Not Want (Do Not Disable Essential Files!! also might want to read description section to see what each package does)
8. Skip OEM Tab everything is essential
9. Move To EXT Packages Tab - Disable Any Unwanted Packages (Make Sure You Go To This Tab Their are packages that you would not like OSKitchen selects all EXT's as Default)
10. Move To Advanced Tweaks Tab - IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT IT DOES DO NOT TOUCH IT!! Setting the Pagepool to 0 is recommended.
11. Press Start Building at top
12. Once ROM cooking is completed the kitchen will ask if you would like open the folder where the .nbh file was output, select yes to open the folder then when in folder run ROMUpdateUtility.exe and follow the onscreen instructions.
HELPFUL TIPS
-Start Slow, build a ROM with not much extra then work from there
-I would generally keep Phone Canvas Enabled
-If a package has (6.5.X) at the end, this package is only for 6.5.X SYS builds
-Only choose one Animation
-If you included Office 2010 EXT disable The Office and OneNote SYS files
-Calibration Data can be read using PHM Reg Editor looking at
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH"
BUGS:
-21905 SYS has battery meter issue (does not change)
-Waiting Cursor does not work in Build 23547 use Mord4z's fix on third Post
EXT's
V 1.30 has a CAB to EXT converter you can use that to convert your apps that you would liked cooked in I will still update this Post with new EXT's
HOW TO CONVERT CABS TO EXT
Click on package converter at top
In source select CAB Installer File/HTC ROM Hotfix
Browse to the CAB that you would like converted
In destination section next to Device select Palm Treo Pro
Next to group select Packages_Palm Treo Pro
In the text box next to name name it what you would like that EXT package to be called
In Import options Sections its up to you if you would like to check that box or not
Press convert and your good to go
EXT's not in the download on first post
Put these files in
Sources>Devices>Palm Treo Pro>EXT Packages>Packages_PalmTreoPro
F-Secure AntiTheft
If you have any requests for EXT's I would be happy to add them
Have Fun cooking and Mord4z and me would like to see more development in the GSM Section

it is better with the cooking then the above but i havn't tested it im going to wait until it is out of Alpha and the automatic creation of DSM isn't really important because all of the builds i released still have the DSM files but the DSM sorting in EXT's is a good feature

i would try the new release but every day a newer version comes out and it gets annoying repeating the steps everyday. Did you make your perfect Rom yet? Do you have any questions or suggestions?

Just tried using the Alpha Kitchen version to build my own ROM...only to find out i need an original 6.5 ROM to work wit...i don't have dat so i just might have 2 work with OSKitchen V1.30 above since it enables me to work with pre-existing 6.5.5 builds....
P.S. Didn't know ROM building involved extensive reading
Just flashed IMZ_KING 65_23549_RealVGA_Updated's ROM from ppcgeeks forums..RealVGA looks beautiful and seems to work flawlessly but i uninstalled the ROM cuz for some reason, it refused to play ANY sounds(like its on system silence mode or something)...Just flashed Mord4z's 21884's Build...gonna play with it for some days while i cook up a personalized 21903 build...So what do u mean by choosing just one animation?
P.S...Only F-Secure Anti theft EXT link's working,pls check others..

thats good to here that RealVGA looks good i know there is a thread that gives you an OEM package for 6.5 ROMs maybe you want to check that out http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=103745 choose one startup animation in the EXT because there is no option to select which animation you want on the phone. i will remove the links but i don't have time to reupload them and i really wanted to release Ervius kitchen tutorial but i have been really busy this week that i wasn't able to and i am going to UK next week and won't be back till August and i don't know if i will have acces to the computer i will try my best to get things done before next week
What rom are you cooked from?
