Battery percentage - EVO 4G Themes and Apps

Was just wondering if there is an app that puts a battery numerical percentage next to the battery on the taskbar? Like the one on the iPhone 3GS. Thanks!

I assumed you had a bar-code scanner of some sort so I was making it easier for you, but yes the app is called "Battery Indicator" and it can be searched for and downloaded via the market. It does what you inquired about.

Gotcha. Sorry, I didn't see the barcode. Thanks for your help!

I use BatteryLife which places a battery icon on the Home screen. It is customizable with colors and you can have it display the battery temperature and such as well. I like it.

When I used to charge my G1 I would see a percentage if I hit a button and the screen lit up. With the evo if you make the screen light up, it doesn't show a percentage of charged. Or is there a way to make that happen? I don't want to run an extra app in the background, but maybe there is no other option.

"Battery Indicator"

while battery indicator is nice.. it does not replace the original battery meter.. why do i need 2 meters?
uninstalled...

I prefer systray. Besides battery percentage, you also get quick access to your memory settings in the pull down menu.

Looking For A Number-Only Battery Indicator

I'm wondering if there is a number-only battery indicator available, preferably no percent sign, as large as possible. I've tried a couple taskbar apps, but they either don't work well or change some of the other indicators in a way I don't like.

Never mind. Brian's Taskbar WM6.5 gives me what I want, along with other icons that are acceptable. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3861405&postcount=2

Kramerty88,
I've searched the xda site and Googled it and cannot find a reference to the Tbattery program.
Can you supply a URL for it please.

this is great, but you should check phenomenal app called battclock.
it shows batt, clock, date, cpu, and more in small space, and it is highly configurable

What are you running? I know I seen it somewhere for sense...Ill try and dig it out for u, and your bounty aint enough to rattle my interest, although it did catch my attention in the forums. But for what your asking, wouldn't be worth it.
Honda are you on a 2.2 ROM?
I'll post it up if you are. Don't pay for this, its on the forum already.......and by no batt mod i'm assuming you mean you just want the battery out of the taskbar?
Here you go.

I only see an option to remove the clock, not the battery. Unless it's in another menu.

I could be wrong but keep digging.

Custom settings have nothing new except what can be done otherwise also. I mean:
Close WiFi
Close Bluetooth
Close Data Sync
Brightness
Screen timeout
all these settings are there already
Thanks anyways for taking your time out to build this app

This has been a issue of mines since froyo, it is extremely rare for the battery icon under the lock screen clock to read "charged". Hopefully I'm not the only one that had experienced this anomaly and there is a fix, if do please share
Thank you.

I had this the first time I flashed Redux. Leave it plugged in all night and never read charged. I just pit flashed then reflashed the ROM.

mine always does that, but leaving it plugged in for another 20-30 mins results in a "charged" status on both the status bar and lock screen, along with some text that says you can now disconnect your phone from the charger or something like that.
Hello, im a noob at this forum but i would like to say to i believe every phones charging slows down as it nearly fills i remember Apple inc. called "quick charge" which was from 0% to 80% just my personal knowledge but i would also love to say congratulations on being number 1 in the antutu benchmark app would you so kind as to give me your stats on your cpu frequencies and voltage that you use? i use tegrak ultimate and i suffer from crashes so im looking forward to finding a stable OC
Thank you,
Czajkus
When I flashed to Valhalla final, my phone finally stopped doing this. It confused the hell out of me.
i just wipe the batt stats and finish charging. they end up matching

Random battery drain. Please look at pictures

I have been running CleanRom 3.0 for about 7 months now and have been getting great battery life. For the last week or so I have been getting horrible battery life and i cannot figure out why. I have not done anything different or added any apps since the fall. I have done all the tips and tricks to saving battery ....display set at 10%/30 seconds, All notifications turned off, gps off, bluetooth off etc... I can usually get an average of 22 hours before needing to look for a charger.
Today:
10.5 hours and 12% left. Not even 2 hours of screen time. I have phone forced on 3g and get good reception at my home where I was for most of the day.
Can someone please give me some insight here? maybe I'm missing something??

Maybe your battery itself.
There are far to many variables that play a part in battery life.
Look into 5.6 and remember to toggle off data and WiFi when not in use.
Worth a try.
Edit: now I clearly see you toggle WiFi and data off when not in use. Haha sorry.

Agreed, try changing kernel or kernel settings, gov types, speeds, tweak options.
Sometimes it take alot of trial and error to figure out the best rom/kernel combos. May also have to change a few things in the rom and/or kernel to do so. Goodluck!
You can try an app call "Better Battery Stats"
