I installed one of the ROM's and now I cant see the plugin for MediaPlayer. Or is there a better third party homescreen plugin?
So, my first few attempts at customising the orbit 2: I installed the htc home plugin, a better looking calculator, and a shortcut screen that allows me to select new contact/sms etc. I also added the htc tsk so it all looks better. Thanks to all the chaps and chapettes that helped with advice/links.
The only one thing I can't figure out in the home plugin, is how to make the music player tab launch the music player rather than windows media player. Any idea how I can change this?

I recently installed spb Mobile Shell on my Alltel Touch Pro and enjoy it thoroughly. It is much faster and user-friendly than the Touchflo 3D interface.
However, I am not fond of having to use coreplayer or WMP to play my music, I really liked the music player in the touchflo interface. I'm curious as to whether or not theres any way I can utilize the music player (I like how similar it is to the iPod Touch/iPhone music players) from touchflo 3d in spb mobile shell.
I have the same problem, i tried nitrogen music player, it is good, but you cant save playlists. Now i am trying s2p, im hoping that will work. S2P is a copy of the ipod music player, but it might only be for touch pro. I have a touch pro 2, and will be trying it on that
Nitrogen - Used and quite liked it, only hand up was it used quite a bit of mem on my HD.
S2P - Currently use, not too bad I guess, could do with better menus in my opinion and more control but overall works out the box.
I think the TF3D player is the best of them all but when I'm using Mobile Shell I use Conduits Pocket Player, unfortunately it's not free though...

Hey, ive been using spb mobile shell 3.5 on my HTC TyTn II for quite a while now and since the start of my use i have not been able to get the wmp widget to work. everytime i click the play or playlist button on the widget it directs me to the wmp then i play a song, when i go back to the widget it is blank then when i press the play or playlist button again it takes me to the now playing button and it happen over and over again. Please help it would be good to actually use the widget rather than it being like a shortcut. Thanks
