They moved the whitetext stuff into the framework anyway. services.jar will not be where that is.

After Cyanogen released his first CM5.0.7-D/S ROM, i asked @anderweb for porting his Donut Vertical Settings to eclair, and he made an Elcair Version for me.
After i start to theme the widget we found a very strage bug in the Vertical Widget. So we asked @eliotstocker if he could help to fix the bug and he did it.
So now we can have the Vertical Power Controll Wiget, i themed atm only the mdpi part, cuz i only have an G1 for testing the theme:

No icons on power control widgets?
I tried the un-themed version and it has no icons on the widget and I also lost the icons on the default power control widget. Any idea how to get them back?

No matter how many ways I try to install the transparent power control widget, I keep getting FC's under settings (basically only tried to change ringer volume and it FC's).
The transparent widget shows up as well as the colored icons under Settings, but I get FC. This happens on HTCclay's latest Eclair rom. Any tips? P.S. i've only flashed sitimber's.
Loving Froyo but missing the black noti bar and icons. Anybody got any that are compatible? please share thanks!
EDIT: Many users managed to get morphs working, HOWEVER the text color mods are currently not working therefore black stat/noti bars will have unreadable black text (clock, operator). Old morphs will work, you will need to remove the services folder from your morph and edit the thm/xml accordingly. I will be posting my morph which is a black stat & noti bar after a few tweaks.
i think i read somewhere metamorph does not work in froyo, needs update.
but the good old update.zip way should work. the rom needs to be deodexed. paul will do this next week. but it would be nice, if someone could deodex classes.odex from framework services.jar, so we are able to mod the status bar. found some info about this on smali/backsmali developer page but wos afraid to do something wrong. could an expert have a look on this?

Each of the notification bar morphs I have used have resulted in a boot loop upon the forced reboot... if anyone has successfully morphed the froyo notification bar, could they please post a link to a the .thm file or pertinent thread? Thanks!

you know you can just take the framework-res.apk and put the png's that were changed into the apk and push it back to the phone.

Got the latest MMorph (@ market ) working with Froyo
How ?
Installing this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=686627 to my phone
Problem was the Busybox ( no included with OTA Froyo ) and MMorph app needs it to work correctly ...

You must be on drugs, this is WAY faster and smoother than CM was on 2.1.

I got it working by pushing services.jar and framework-res.apk to /system/framework on the deodexed FRF83 that paulobrien recently posted. It works great!
One caveat though...is there a way to change the notification text color to white as well? The clock text is white, but incoming sms shows up black and I don't know how to edit services.jar....

look for autosign script, it shoud be somewere here, if you won't find it, I can post tomorrow

Anyone knows a black bar that works 100% with trackball alert and does not disable the alert while screen is on.

Wondering if anyone can fix the Blackbar lockscreen to work with 3.70 based sense roms. When i try the older ones they have undesired effects on other things like timestamps. Please please please! I miss my black bar! Not a big fan of the aosp lockscreens. If i knew how I'd do it myself.

Can you make a version with the black bar and also the green highlights for the expresso rosie? The Fresh highlights are currently blue and don't match the stock theme.

I think I miss interpreted your question earlier. I just uploaded the stock Fresh resource file thinking that you were going to change the blue hl to green and also add in the black lock bar.
Here is the resource file that is Fresh 3.5 Compatible which already has the green highlights on the expresso rosie. Could do mod this for me one more time?

I use cwm and odexed version of 9505 MDM firmware, I ran both files through apktool again and posted them again, both files works fine :fingers-crossed:

@bruzski: i try by myself with my deodex to chage in black color statusbar as you, i compile and everything is fine, but when i flash systemUI with this mod, when telefhone turn on, systemUI crash and have fc..
I decompiled and changed color in "res/values/drawables.xml" as i every time do with my S2 (and threre work always fine), but here i have this issue.. I miss to do something? Change something to do in S4 apks? (i now to use apktool, manage with that, delete resources in keep folder ecc)

I can confirm that it does not work on odexed ME2.
@bruzski-Is is going to be possible for you, of you have the SystemUI.apk from ME2, to decompile it and make the status bar black? I by myself, but everywhere I see java errors and it simply does not want to decompile it properly.

hey it's transparent yes, but if you select a downloaded wallpaper you normally get a dark gray statusbar and not real black, that's why i made this little mod

ahh.... that makes sense.... very nice indeed.. i did not try it on black background... i just saw it was transparent and then i went on to another one... i prefer it being black all the time..
