Are there any Android widgets for stocks similar to the HTC Stocks Widget? I'm having a hard time finding a good replacement!

Anyone?
I just check google finance, that too rarely.
will be good to know which widget is the best.
Tried these? http://www.appbrain.com/search?q=stock+widget
Yep.
Stock Alert, as the name suggests, only allows for one stock. If you try to add a second widget for another stock, the first one changes too.
StockPrice Widget: I added a few stocks but could never get it to show any prices. It looks like it's a common issue as many others in the app comments are having the same experience.
I also tried "Stock Market Widget", but it had the same issue: no stocks ever showed up. It's a brand spanking new app (<100 downloads) so maybe it's not fully working yet.
I don't see any others with widgets, though plenty of them have people in the comments saying "needs a widget"
I guess there's no such app for stock Android eh? Man, the Sense widgets are just amazing.
I'd like to know too. At the moment I am using multiple instances of the Google Finance widget. Sub-optimal.

!!!!!
In all my searches, the Google Finance app never came up! I just tried it out and added a bunch of their widgets to my homescreen. Well... Compared to HTC's Sense UI widget, it's ugly and far from functional, but going by the lack of success in my searches (and lack of responses), I'm guessing this is currently the only way to do it on stock Android. Oh well.

I'm looking for a way to add a specific widget to my lockscreen. Is this possible? If so, how would I go about doing it.
Thanks.
Unless you are making your own lockscreen, there is no.such option.
It would kind of defeat the purpose of the lockscreen.
Look for flyscreen in the market.
Also try widget locker, you can pick from specific lock screens and add widgets

I looked into both of those... It seemed that they only allowed for certain widgets. Maybe I'll try em out.

Flyscreen allows all android widgets.
This is what you want my friend.
It allows you to put any widget & shortcuts you want on your default lock screen.
But it costs $0.99
I've tried it in beta form. Its a tiny bit laggy but it works.

Thanks to all for helping out. I tried both FlyScreen and WidgetLocker, but decided that I didn't really care for widgets all over my lock screen (alas, indecisiveness). That being said, WidgetLocker is far superior, so if you're looking for something like this, it's worth the junior bacon cheeseburger.
I am trying to get GenieWeather Widget to work on my Thunderbolt.
I was looking at this thread and found these pictures.

Looking through the thread the app I am interested in was identified as: News and Weather by Google. Found on the system as GenieWeather.apk.
The first version I found did not work on my Thunderbolt. I couldnt find a version for the TB on xda but did on this website.
After installing I can not find a way to display the weather in the week format like in the pictures. Is the option just not available on the TB version or am I missing something?
You can't find the setting because it's not geniewidget. Looks like one of the simi widgets.
Just download Simi Clock Widget which includes the weather widget. Simi only lets you have one day, not the app in the pictures. Anyone else happen to know?
i think the weather app is beautiful widgets. it's a paid app.

thanks so much for clarifying guys. gonna purchase this app now, ill post a SS of my desktop after.
I left the sense rom and now using Adams rom. But I miss the news widget that sense had were you choose what news source you wanted and you where able to scoll thru it from you main screen widget. Any know where I can get on like that or if there is even like other then a sense one?
I am looking for one too for my wife. Going to change her home screen from sense to GoLauncher or ADWLauncher.

Been there. Was there for a long time. And there are two apps I've found which replace the HTC News Widget.
The best one (though not free) is Pure News Widget (Scrollable).
You can select any feeds, or just select from your Google Reader RSS feeds, select just 1 source for the widget, or select multiple... and it looks very similar to Sense (there are skins as well, one of them being a Sense skin).

The second one I've found (which is free) is called AtomaRSS Scrollable NewsWidget.
It's great, and even looks a bit like sense, fully customizable (though I'm not sure if there is skin support yet). Only thing is that it is a bit more complicated to set up and whatnot, but still not very difficult.
Looking for a decent weather widget. But before we go any further, I have tried beautiful widgets and HD widgets. I am looking for something like beautiful widgets 1x1 weather widget, but one that only shows a weather Icon, I don't need the text, current temp, ie, all that other stuff. It doesn't fit well with my themeing and skinning. Any ideas? Thanks!
UCCW.
I think you can pretty much design it yourself with this, or use and/or modify someone else's skin...

Thanks, I will definantly give that a go.
This is the app I use, though its a paid app, it has more weather information than I would ever need (or completely understand!). I like the widgets too, they look great, and the radar widget is super cool...

This is the app I use. You can customize and make all the clock, battery and weather widgets you desire. Mine is the paid version, but there is a free version as well. You can see mine below:

Got sick and tired of the lack of tablet-optimized apps and was wondering what popular apps would like like if they were optimized, so I decided to make a concept of a Spotify tablet-optimized-app. Made two concepts, because why not. Buttons aren't in the exact same places as they are supposed to be, but it's a concept so that shouldn't matter. Hope you guys like them. And of course I also hope developers start optimizing apps for tablets.

Very nice with a touch of material design. I think you got some inspiration from the gmail app, didn't you?
It's just a matter of whether the spotify devs will really implement something like this.
This looks gorgeous
I'd kill for this. Looks way better than the current UI. Especially now since they removed the tabs in "my music" in the recent update. I have an apk that still has the tabs if anyone is interested. It has a different signature, so it won't update through the play store.

Yes, indeed, I did. Just really hope popular apps will be tablet-optimized in the future. Would kill for apps to look like they belong on the big screen!
And thanks all!
