Motorola themed Beautiful Widget

hey does anyone know if there is a good theme out for the Beautiful Home widget to make it have that Droid x/2 motoblur theme? i cant find anything that really fits in with my home screen, and if there is no such thing can someone make one for me if they know how to ? thanks

HA, i would say 90% of everyone comes here to get away from the moto blur.
Your gonna have a long road ahead of you trying to stick with that "theme".
That being said, to answer your question. No, I dont think there is one. Scrolling the whole list in BW clock skins and lots of google searches is what your in for my friend.

Everyone seemes to hate blur. I dont have my X yet But from what ive seen i dont mind the way the way it looks. But also from what i have heard and the fact that ive already purchased launcher pro plus when i had my captivate i will be using that instead of the stock launcher coupled with beatiful widgets will be awesome but a theme like this could be cool

Damn, this thing makes other keyboards look like a printing press! Looks like Google just acquired them so maybe we'll be seeing it on an Android soon? BlindType keyboard!

yeah, looks great for people with big fingers (or all thumbs) lol. XDA is like a Raiders of the Lost Ark flick, someone in here will discover a source for this treasure and bring it to the masses.

That looks freakin' awesome... I'm assuming there's not apk for it yet, right? (Just high hopes.. :-D)

Hopefully we'll see it in future editions of the OS, since google bought it.

Google bought them out on 10/1... so the good new is theres bound to be an android option.
Bad news is that they will likely be a litle slow getting it out now that the company has the red tape of the google purchase they need to weed through before they can ge back to R&D.

{Request} Disney Clock

I just saw on Engadget that Disney has an Android phone and it has a Mickey Mouse clock. Can anyone get that? My wife would love it for her Moto Droid too.

There is one for free in the market.

The clock is different on the Disney Android phone. Thanks though.

Disney Mobile DM009SH 3D phone - That's the name of the Disney Android Phone.

Been a while and was wondering if anyone happened to find the clock from this phone.

Since it's a Japan released phone, the apk for the clock and clock widget would need to be pulled. More than likely it'll need to be edited to make it work on this phone. You'll need to find someone with the phone willing to port the clock over.
I'm pretty sure it won't be easy as installing it like any other apk file.

I've been trying to find it myself with no luck. I did find some of the Apps that are going to be available for that phone from the market but they need to be edited to work with our phones, a straight apk install does not work.

SPB Shell 3D - Worth the $15 to me!

So, decided to try this launcher...priced at $14.95 I was skeptical. Love what it adds to my Tab experience however. Yes, definitely overpriced...but totally changes your Tab to eye-candy goodness.
Loving the Message widget, totally dig the 3D carousel effect. The World Clock widget is fun, and the whole thing gives my Tab a quasi Honeycomb feel. (in that it's much more flashy to show off, and some of the widgets are great!)
It's a bit of a memory hog @ roughly 90mb usage...but I tend to keep things skinny usually anyways, so no ill effects.
EDIT: I can't help but notice how lag-free this launcher is. I truly expected something so flashy to come with bunches of lag...so not the case. Amazingly smooth.

LOL true...still I don't mind tossin $15 to something that makes my Tab turn a few heads & make things more enjoyable to use!

I'd give it a shot if there was a free trial..

let us know what the battery life is like with all that home screen animation. Also, what ROM are you on? Did it install like a regular Home app like LauncherPro? Are you able to switch between this and other home apps?
Oh and would you mind taking a video of it on the tab? How does it look in landscape mode?

IMO everything ist too big. Icons, Widgets, etc fit better on smaller screen sizes.
I uninstalled it. Its very, very nice but i wait for a tablet-optimized release!

I gave this a quick try. And its pretty crap to be honest. I couldn't get any of the 3d Widgets to work, should be 2$

i rememver in the old wm days they had tons of skins for it so im sure you can skin it might just be a while for android

Right I used SPB Mobile Shell 3.5 on my Nokia N97, there were really lots of skins available.

I thought Samsung Galaxy Tab was not supported yet ?

They say its not supported for tablets because they're working on a tablet specific app.

Just gave it a try. Not worth those 15 bucks. Even more if compare to LauncherPro (which is a LOT more configurable). It could have been a nice shot for a cheaper price, but beside those 3D effects it doesn't relly offer anything more than Launcher Pro or any other launcher in the market. I have LP running both on my Galaxy Tab and Desire HD and it is way better on both devices.

I've bought it, but have already installed. I agree that the graphics are to big for the G Tab. I had other problems too. Like when I click on the time it doesn't open the clock. Same thing with the alarm...
You can't customize the panels. Most of then are the way they idealized it, and you can't change. The carrousel is beautiful but not that useful. It doesn't compare to Launcher Pro or ADW in terms of customization.
Way too expensive!

Battery life seems unaffected, I haven't noticed a dip from normal. I'm running Overcome Rom, OC to 1.4GHZ. Yes it works like any other launcher, can switch back and forth as you'd like. Currently it's only designed to work in portrait mode. I imagine a Tablet version will be coming, that will make use of landscape mode.
I'll see about making a short video of usage on the Tab.

I think it makes the tab look like a cheap knockoff with the big clunky graphics lol

"Not supported" isn't the same as "doesn't work on it". It runs fine. Maybe it's not Gingerbread compatible.
All of SPB's apps are overpriced, I feel this should be only $10, it is quite good although it's not without its limitations, and its massive memory footprint.

Ill probably wait for the tablet version with a landscape mode before getting this. Wouldn't want to show it off to my iPad friends , only for them to turn it sideways and see it doesn't work that way.

Initial thoughts on my Optimus 3D

My Optimus 3D arrived today after ordering online yesterday on pdashop.be
It's a lot faster than my LG Optimus 2x and the software is a lot better than stock on my Optimus 2x everything so far runs smoothly.
Loving the 3D video and pictures, really amazing depth!
I tested a few SBS 3D MKV and they all runs just fine first time you need to select that they are 3D but after that you can just click and start, also tested a few MKV series with .srt subtitle files and they worked just great!
Tested a few emulators like snesoid and n64oid (this one runs very slooow on a HTC EVO 3D) they run super smooth!
Installed launcherpro because I use it on all my phones, and that runs great and I still can use all the LG widgets!
In bright sunlight the screen is still very readable, the viewing angle is also very good, EVO3D viewing angles seem to be not that great.
Tonight will connect it to my TV and projector to do a few tests.
Also will try to run some SDK samples I compiled at home.
Very Happy with this phone!
Updates:
Tried Samurai II Nvidia only game with Chainfire 3D and Nvidia plugin and it works smoother than on my Real Nvidia phone
Multi touch test: 10 finger input works great!
Tested on 3D tv and it looks very nice indeed, All my mkv normal and 3d worked great, only things that did not show on the 3D tv were the included files like B-Boy Beats and Coral Dreams but they all show a Green unlocked symbol?
My compiled 3D SDK sample also ran great and a lot faster than on the emulator

I am not really an android dev but I made small games before. I am planning to make a 3D game for my phone

Am finding it a tad laggy at times tbh just returned the previous one I had under a different contract and found another cheaper which came today.
I am finding its like it stops at times and its like it catches up and a few times have had a force close situation, anyone else finding this and are you all still using the stock launcher or a different one.

Did not have any slow downs or force closes so far using launcherpro, which software version do you use?

I just switched to launcher pro and all seems fine now, also used bloatfreezer after root to hide the lg home launcher.

I'm well happy with mine. Yes the battery is going to be an issue but see my post about extra ones and a stand alone charger.
I've had some great fun in the local Costa coffee house demonstrating this phone. Here's what happens...
I said to the staff (I know them quiet well) "I'd like to show you my new phone, but if I do you will be so impressed you will simply have to get one". They reply, "what sort is it?". "It's an LG" I said. At this point THEY ALL turn up their noses and inform me they have iPhones
Eventually curiosity gets the better of them. "Go on then, show us this new phone".
I select the 3D gallery and start playing the sample video of the dancing guys.
Stunned silence, followed by wide eyed expressions and excited shouts of "it's 3D!". At this point I remind them "and NO silly glasses". They are BLOWN AWAY!
Customers nearby want to see what all the fuss is about.......same result, BLOWN AWAY!
They ALL want one, they are ALL wondering how much it cost, where can they get one, how can they escape from new contracts and get this WONDER PHONE
My reply to "how much" upsets them big time.
Guys, we got a ground breaking phone here, no question!

Hehe, i've been using the preloaded Kelly Slater Video for showing off. The barracuda floating in front of the screen is sick. I seriously caught one of my colleagues secretly ordering himself an O3D.
I really didn't expect that phone to have such an impact, but everyone (apples, nokias etc) was honestly impressed by it, not just by the 3D. Screen and build quality were appreciated as well.

Yaay, I got mine today and I'm so happy All my friends are so jealous. The build quality and the screen is amazing, and btw i tried youtube 3d and i found some kind of penthouse 3d commercial with hot chicks, that was awesome!
